Stopped for lunch on a Saturday. Pub was very quiet, two tables taken in the main bar, we were told that the other tables were reserved, so had to sit in the rather gloomy back room. Told that food could only be served outside on the patio (due to staff shortages), which is close to the busy A515, no food service on the other quieter area away from the road. When we left there were no customers on the reserved tables in the main bar. Food was good and quick service.

I visited the kitchen in order to book a regular weekly business luncheon for my 20 employees as a thank you for their efforts in creating a successful new business in the village.
It was my intention to commit a sum of £2000.00 !a week for them and their families to experience the benefit of living in our new location.
Having been impressed with the look and reviews of the kitchen I entered there to make these arrangements. But swiftly choose not to.
Whilst some of the staff seemed lovely the welcome and approach from either the manager or owner quickly made me not want to trust them with the wellbeing of my staff.
His attitude from the start was cold and abrupt and he showed no interest in seeing to my needs. Without even a courteous smile or even eye contact....and came across as uninterested and actually rude
Visit there at your oeril... Sadly
This little pub was recommended to us by the caravan site we were staying at up the road, unfortunately the kitchen had been closed down so there were no food, nice selection of cask ales 3No and watching the locals get drunk was the entertainment, local dog friendly pub.
Wow! This food at this place was great.
We walked in and weren't sure what to make of the place, but we were given a warm welcome, chatted to out host and went with his suggestions (having never had Nigerian food before). We were told roughly how long it would take, spiciness levels etc.
The food came and it was unbelievable! So tasty and decent portions too. I can't recommend here enough.
Oh, bring cash though!
This cafe provided the food for the buffet for a family members 60th wedding anniversary. The choice and qty of products was fantastic. We would like to say a huge thank you so many compliments with lots left over.
I have been a loyal Plukd customer since day 1 for 2 reasons.
1: Big Jus, The Wing King - and worthy of the title. This is an owner operated business and the enthusiasm and passion for not only the food but also the customer service makes you feel like you part of something. . Some chicken wing loving family or something.
The second reason I love Plukd is the food. The wings are excellent, always fresh and a good size too (no little niblets), the flavour options are great - plenty of variety to suit every pallet. I especially like gangnam. Mac and Cheese is top draw and Plukd scratching should be sold in Tesco next to pork scratching its that good.
Finally Plukd do all you can eat events. If ever you get a chance. . You should.
This place is a triple threat! Amazing coffee, truly outstanding service, and a bakery selection that will make your mouth water. I can't recommend this spot enough. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or a leisurely brunch, you won't be disappointed. Five stars all the way!
Out of all the places we have been (and that is many) this the ONLY place where we have sat during the meal and booked our next visit for asap. Can't wait to return in May! Super unique and fresh flavours and dishes
Always searching for a dairy free/ vegan option for my son and husband, my son popped over to Fifi's and asked her at the counter and yes she had two flavours available, he was so excited as it's usually a no! He had two scoops and on his words, the best he's tasted !
My daughter who has no allergies had the ferrero rocher sundae which thoroughly enjoyed! We definitely recommend Fifi's and the lady who served us was lovely. We'll be back soon
We have visited a couple of times and the food is delicious! Incredibly good value, cooked fresh and a good choice. Much better to have lunch here for under a fiver than in McDonald’s or Subway!
We popped in today after a walk around the nearby park for Mother’s Day. The selection is only ‘to go’ due to ongoing pandemic but food - all freshly prepared to order - was well priced and delicious. No complaints. It would be nice to come back and eat in once life returns to normal.
I had the English breakfast and it was boom , everything was cooked to perfection the ladies were loverly and the little seating area out back was tidy . ( also the bathroom was really clean ! ) 10/10
