Mexicasa in Northampton

We have visited a couple of times and the food is delicious! Incredibly good value, cooked fresh and a good choice. Much better to have lunch here for under a fiver than in McDonald’s or Subway!

Thos place is amazing. So affordable and staff are very nice. We usually have burrito meal and they are huge! Medium is enough ❤️❤️❤️

I eat here most weeks and the food is always excellent, at the strength requested and filling. Service is quick and friendly.

I have a rice box meal here as a little treat every week. Service is good, the guys working here are friendly and cheerful, food comes nice and quickly. Food is good. The rice is well cooked, the meat is decent quality and tasty and the spicy sauce is genuinely spicy. Decent price, £5 for a massive box of rice and meat, some tortilla chips and dip and a can of drink. One of Northampton’s better places to eat.

Food was greasy and the place was deserted. Quite off putting that the kitchen couldn't be seen. I asked for a chicken quesidilla and checked this was only breast. I was assured it was. When I came to eat it back at my office not only did it contain pork but also leg meat and a bone. Not impressed

Lovely filling in a mexican wrap with a drink and a side and only £5 in total. Pleasant and quiet setting.

Three of us had Burritos from here. Found it a little weird that sides were rice, nachos & Pico. Nachos, no problem but rice and Pico? They're standard filings in burritos. 2 of us ordered rice, another ordered pico. The rice was just bog standard dry rice to go with a dry burrito. We won't be eating from there again.

Tasty fresh food and very reasonable prices for the portion sizes. The paneer wrap with aloo bhaji is a personal fave.

Mexican style on the outside, Indian style on the inside. Fast food you can enjoy on the hoof or on site. Friendly service and all strengths tailor made to suit the individual, which is perfect for us as my wife likes extra mild and I like hot with chillis.

Happen to stumble across Mexicasa whilst at work and googling Mexican food for lunch. Between the team we had the burrito, quesadilla and tacos along with churros. Excellent value for money, we went large and had the sides and drink all for about £6. Really good sized portions, very tasty. Will happily visit again for lunch. It was a good find on the internet today!!

Poppee in for a quick snack. Had a large burrito and it was packed full of flavour and goodness. I definitely recommend Mexicasa - I'm wondering why this place is not busier, because it's excellent!

I can't rave enough about how amazing this place is. Great food, great prices and good sized portions.

Decided to try this place for a quick lunch having been recommended it by a chum and it was excellent, really flavourful food, nice atmosphere, friendly and patient staff and great value. I hope it's the first of many restaurants for them, it deserves to do well :-)

Nice burritos, reasonably priced, upbeat decor and music. The staff are polite and the fusion of Indian and Mexican works surprisingly well.

Regularly order food from Mexicasa during the working week, Jay and his team are always more than happy to go the extra mile to deliver a high level of customer service. Food is always fresh and piping hot. Clean and vibrant environment, give it a try

The unique concept of combining Mexican and Indian flavours works very well. Nice, clean premises with good service and atmosphere.

Went for lunch with my daughter and we loved it! Mexican food with an Indian twist. My daughter had tacos with chicken and aloo bhaji and I had quesadillas with keema and aloo bhaji. The food had lots of flavour and the choice of mild, medium or hot so suits everyone. Both meals with a side and a drink each came to less than £10 and we were left feeling full and satisfied. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!

Simple new street food cafe, lovely dishes to any strength and always under £5. The lamb burritos with potato or spinach style curry are my personal favourite but my mother and wife have found different favourites.

Friend of mine suggested this newly opened Halal premises on Gold Street, Northampton.

It's an indian mexican restaurant, it was pleasant surprise, the staff was very friendly, specially the blue eye blond lady on the tills, we ordered tacos with meat and potato, very very good, we were a little skeptical about the size portions, but its very filling, totally recommend, nice atmosphere.

Following an amazing performance by 3rd year actors from Northampton University including my daughter - we visited Mexicasa not quite knowing what to expect. Well - the staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly and will guide you through the various options available, the food is full of flavour and well presented with something to suit all palates, likewise there is a range of drinks available including green tea and good coffee, the interior is well designed and the atmosphere has a good ‘street food’ vibe - the bill is incredibly small!

Finally something different in Northampton! As group of friends, we went on a week day and upon entry was met with a nice Mexican retro atmosphere. Plenty of seating and a good menu selection. We ordered 4 Loaded Burritos with lamb & chicken mixed - all with Aloo Bhajee and tortilla chips. What can I say, very VERY filling! Absolutely loved the filling and had to order another 2 more to take home! As an extra we ordered the Super Nachos and the photo should explain more.. Let's say it didn't last long.. That good! Overall I give it 5/5 for quality, quantity & location. Looking forward to next visit!
