"Best place ever" ... there is no 0 star option. the food is ok, you pay for 5 products, you get 4, you specify I DON'T WANT SAUCE ON A PRODUCT, they put on 2 and the other 2 don't (the 5th product was without sauce), you specify, the meat should be grilled and put separately , not put in "shaorma" they put the meat in "shaorma", you tell them you want the receipt, they tell you: come back in 2 minutes and at the end it brings you the bag of food without receipt ... so ... "the best place to eat ever"... unfortunately I experimented on my wallet, it won't happen again ... at least not to you ...

It's got **a full recommendation** from this Greek 🇬🇷. If you've grown up in mainland Greece or spend more than a week there, you'd know the πιτα γύρο τυλιχτά, the mezedakia, biftekia, and the rest is authentic greek ψητοπωλείο classics and oh boy they do match them exactly. Literally no complaints about the food. The prices are reasonable considering this is England, so don't be expecting a €1.10 σουβλάκι or €2.30 pitta gyro xoirino. They do delivery and takeaway as well and it's well worth it. I understand they no longer on the takeaway platforms and this probably is a good thing because they can focus on the customers in their restaurant which looks really pretty by the way from outside. I've never actually though eaten in there, only had delivery a few years ago and just recently had another one yesterday. And it's as consistent as it was those years back. I ordered the meze, mixed meat skewers, pork yeeros wrap, greek salad (authentic) and a coke. I was very satisfied. I just only wished the menu said that'd I'd be two skewers in there, because I would have ordered another one hahaha. Keep up the good work. 🇬🇷💙

On arrival was sat on the smallest of tables despite there being other tables available.Reviewed the menu for vegetarian options which consisted of a Hullumi wrap. When I asked staff member of other options they said there wasnt.We got up to leave .Another staff member said I could swap some of the meat options for fish which I did. Cutlery on the table was dirty and we had to ask for clean ones. Food then arrived .It was dry bland full of salt.The chips were dry and tasteless .It certainly wasnt quality Greek food..We left most of it .Bill was wrong .worst food ever .

We had a table booked for 7pm. Dined in and not only did we love our food, we stayed in for dessert and drinks until around 10pm. Loved the place, great service, friendly staff and Greek music in the background for a full authentic Greek experience.

Went here for the first time today. Lovely small restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. We had the sharing platter for 2 and baklava with ice cream for pudding. We will definitely be back :-)

I ordered Regularly when I used to live in Northampton But sadly moved away. When I visited last weekend I jumped at the chance to order 6 Gyros Pita's for the freezer when I got back home in Lincolnshire. They are as tasty as ever. Highly recommended.

The menu seems quite condensed but if you like Greek food there'll definitely be something of interest. The wraps alone work as a main meal because they're so big. We ordered some sides too and shared on the table. The tzatziki is great if you like onion and garlic! The food was amazing, everyone loves chunky halloumi right?! And it all arrived so quickly. This place feels somewhere between a restaurant and a takeaway. Only reason I've marked it down is because the entire time we were eating there was a group of loud Greek men drinking on the next table. We couldn't hear each other talk they were so loud - even the waitress was struggling to hear us over them. It just seemed so unprofessional to have them sitting there drinking bottle after bottle of wine in front of paying customers. It certainly ruined our experience.

Sufllaqe without sauce but full of salt, maybe you have forgotten the ingredients or you have forgotten the original recipe! One comes to you to rediscover the flavors of their land ... and finds nothing! I still don't understand what I ate!

A very authentic unpretentious and inexpensive Greek grill restaurant, just like being on Mykonos! I had tasty chicken and pork Souvlaki skewers marinated in oregano and olive oil, cooked over coals, a crisp side salad and lovely fresh fries. The wine list was short but not expensive, the house white was a very pleasant Chilean. Friendly staff and a good buzz about the place. A great place to pretend you're on Zakinthos after a day on the beach. 😎

I take my family to this lovely place a lot! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go there routinely. The meals are great, the staff is friendly and the prices are affordable. I enjoy meeting in this spot to have a rich lunch.

We had a Pork & chicken giros last night.It was absolutely amazing ,just as good as the ones you get in Greece.. Very good price ,would reccomend this restaurant to everyone.

I visit this place a lot since I work close by. I got to say their service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat all the time. Rates are convenient and they serve big portions.

Best gyros i've had in the UK up to this point. Staff very friendly. Potrions are generous. I find myself suggesting DGY to anyone wanting to have some proper greek meat food 👌🏼

It's not Greek restaurant , it's Romanian kebab with price 3.75£ for tzatziki - double cream and cucumber 😵. Food is simple and overpriced. You have no deeps available so the trick is you need to order tzatziki (nothing special). Chips are cheap , but meat is good. I would rather go to Kurdish kebab and grab proper dish for half the price in here . Not recommended. Walls should be paint of blue so you can feel more Greece , but hey its Romanian not Greek place so how do they know.

The store was clean and well maintained. The staff polite and welcoming. I enjoy a good flamed cooked gyro/doner. The meat was flavoured well and the freshly cooked breads tasty. Personally, I am not a fan of chips inside my gyro wrap but still. My only criticism is that the sauce options are very limited; either, mustard mayo or a garlic yoghurt (I think). The latter being quite sharp for my tastes. With the popularity of hot sauces soaring I would expect every gyro/kebab place to offer some hot sauce. Regardless, good service, spotlessly clean, and freshly cooked food! Worth visiting even if you don't live in the area.

Went this Saturday just gone, it was actually quite quiet, but we were unsure as to why because the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff there are very friendly and service was good. We hope to visit again soon!

Genuine Greek food, the gyros is just like you would get on holiday and the service was excellent, Christina was excellent with our little girl, will definitely be returning.

Expected more for that value. Look more take way place,than a restaurant. Food is ovegrill and I did not enjoy it Suggestion: the sharing plate should nor have a Donner ,the rice is dry ,needs sauces,.

I love ordering from Delicious Greek Yeeros as I am Greek! The food never disappoints me and the staff and atmosphere is very friendly! They carried through a special request I have had this week as I was having a gathering at my place and I was very pleased and satisfied with the outcome and the portions! I really recommend it if you want to have a Greek dinner!!

Even my young children were well behaved in here as the food was so good! Portions are massive. Between 4 adults, 2 kids (who shared our dishes), 3 beers & 2 bottles of wine, we split the bill to just slightly over £20 each with a tip. Food was really good & the waitress was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

The gyros (as they call it in Greece) was real, big and tasty. The souvlaki pretty big. I am not sure if anyone was speaking greek at the time but that is not a problem. I don't know why on the menu they make you order 2 souvlaki and probably can't just order one. It says tasty and big but between 2 or more prefer one gyros (or geeeeros as they call it) and something else (if you can afford..). The plate is two large wraps for almost 10 pounds. 5 pounds for a souvlaki is common in the UK. The shop is like a nice take way place with tables and restaurant prices. I have not tried anything else as the kontosuvli was not ready. I came from far to visit and probably will visit again when in town.

Went here for the first time on Friday night and it won't be the last. Great food and really friendly waitress. Lovely pitta bread, not like supermarket pitta, big portions too. Even got offered a Metaxa on the house! Will be returning to this little gem.

We were 9 people in this amazing little gem in Northampton. Delicious dinner with very fresh food and amazing atmosphere Sunday evening. We had chicken , lamb,and pork all grilled in charcoal with fresh made chips not frozen but fresh and Greek salad ,lot off drinks and our evening ended perfectly. I highly recommended it to everyone who wants to enjoy everything.

Had a really good pork souvlaki here last night, with some friends. Good - though 'relaxed' - service. On the downside, we were seated near the door, on a freezing cold evening, and the door did not seem to shut well.

The food is excellent and reasonably priced and the wine is decent value also. The service is always friendly and polite. A nice little place to go.

Would love to have been greeted by a Greek staff member instead of a Romanian. Had the Moussaka and to be honest I could cook a better one myself. My mother had a inedible hard piece in hers which had probably been over microwaved. The aubergine in it was a bit on the hard side. Wouldn’t go back

Delicious Greek food, definitely, what a wonderful restaurant this is. The welcome and the food was traditionally Greek and even had Greek wine on the menu. The waitress was lovely and very attentive. The restaurant is decorated with pictures of Greece and the Greek music added to the relaxed atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean and well presented. If you love Greek food then this is definitely the place to go and we hope to return to try more dishes. If you've never tried Greek food then give it a go. They also offer a take out service. Highly recommended.

Wow. The first bite bought back so many memories from our holiday to Greece April this year. Delicious Green Yeros have the most amazing Yeeros and best tasting tzatziki. I didnt expect it to taste just the same as it did in Greece... Yummy food. Will definitely be eating there again.

I have never eaten greek food before, this was very nice, I tried the Yeeros, it was too much for me, one of them would have done, but then they serve this delicious bread and a sort of yoghurt dip to start with and I had Feta and Olives for starters, so be aware the portions are quite big, but thats a good problem to have, the staff were very friendly and we were offered a complimentary little drink afterwards, I thought it was reasonably priced and would definitely go again

We visited as we love holidaying in the Greek islands and food is a big part of that. We weren't disappointed! Delicious dinner of a meze (tzatziki, olives, houmous, stuffed leaves, feta) then gyros and sea bass. And Mythos! All was fantastic with excellent, friendly service. The owners want you to have an enjoyable meal. I'm sure we'll return.

If you wanna taste authentic Greek gyros/yeeros in the UK, this is your best chance. I know because I'm Greek. Absolutely delicious. The fries are equally awesome. The pork merida is amazing. The only thing I would correct is the prices. In Greece you can get two gyros for 5 euros max.

Excellent, good quality authentic Greek food

This little restaurant has no frills just delicious really authentic Greek food we(I’m English but have had many, many Greek holidays seeking out good local food). My pork souvlaki was melt in the mouth gorgeous, the pitta bread was the proper Greek stuff not the awful English version... I could go on and on ... just go!!! The service was also authentically, wonderfully warm and friendly, the food was so fresh we were quite happy to wait for it. Highly recommend this little gem.

Take away review: The food was presented well even for delivery, the food tasted amazing we ordered the Mezze starter and main 2 main meals , we recommend the Tirosalata side . It is expensive but the quality of the food is good and the portion sizes are generous and good for sharing, we could not finish it all. We recommend you try it for yourself you wont be disappointed , it was nice to have restaurant quality food delivered to our door.

Went in today (mother's day and my son 21st) after being let down by another restaurant . Seating 7 of us they made us welcome. Amazing food and brilliant service. Would definitely recommend this gem of a restaurant .
