Yiu's Garden in Northampton

Ordered for a special occasion, the time to pick it up was good but part from that everything is down hill! The food was terrible. we couldn’t finish it as it felt like they rushed it to the point the chicken not even cooked properly and the rice and noodles had no chinese taste what so ever! I could’ve done a better job considering the food we brought was the basics of your menu! I cant image how the other food is when the basics are not even done right! Wish i could give 0 stars

Amazing Chinese take away wouldt go anywhere else now just wish there was a better set menu but other than that the foods amazing

Placed a large order for my care home residents as a friday night treat emailed the day before and had a quick response , they loved the food , specially the spare ribs ! Will order again in the near future

Banging chinese, never fails to deliver on favour. Always tastes fresh and is ready within a good time for collection. Highly recommend, best local Chinese hands down.

I'd been wanting to try a different Chinese takeaway so with recommendations from work, it's the best Chinese ever. I couldn't agree more. Ordered chicken chow mein, egg fried rice along with sweet and sour kings prawn battered balls. Absolutely delicious. I did ring my order through, glad I did it was very busy. Will be coming back.

Will not go anywhere else. Amazing food been coming here for 6 years and never once had a wrong order or issue. The quality remains consistent and overall would highly recommend.

I won't go anywhere else. Love the food and service. I know they are super busy sometimes and the waiting time can be long, but that just shows how good they are. I have no problem waiting for what I want.

I have been going for years. Great food and a great service. Sometimes waiting times are longer at the weekend, but they are super popular. It has never bothered me because of this. As the food is worth the wait.

We live in retirement flats in Northampton and several of the residents decided to celebrate the incoming New Year and Decade with a Chinese takeaway on New Year's eve. Having generated a menu for 11 residents - all with differing tastes, additions and quantities we submitted our 6 orders on 30th December for collection on 31st at 5.45pm. On arrival, the order was complete, individually packed and whole order placed in a substantial box for ease of carrying. All members enjoyed their food which was hot, tasty and all individual requirements had been successfully met. It was enjoyed by ALL, so we have no hesitation in recommending this particular establishment for a good quality fair priced meal - the average cost was less than £8.00 per head!!! Where else could one get such a meal on New Year's Eve??

This is the best Chinese takeaway in Northampton. It’s a shame that that don’t do a delivery service - but it’s worth the drive to get. The food just seems to have a traditional taste and oh my does it taste good. The time between ordering and getting your food is fast which is fantastic too. Also, they are accommodating to changing ingredients if needed eg when asking for no chilli in the beef in black bean sauce. Slightly expensive for the portion size but the right price for the quality of food so I can’t complain. I won’t eat at any other Chinese

Been coming here for ages; good service, polite, personable and efficient and always tasty food! Salt and chilli prawn is a favourite. Best chow mien, full of flavour and not too greasy/oily.

Used this chinese take out for years now. Good selection of food. Tasty food at reasonable prices. Does get very busy at weekends so order by phone early. Nice staff.

Worst takeaway I've had for years every dish was wrong raw dough half cooked full of oil

Haven't been here for over a year and it has defiantly gone down hill chicken balls oily and raw dough. Spring rolls were horrible Singapore noodles powdery chips driping with oil.

A good experience. Good service; food was tasty. I'm going to say that I paid more than I expected, but that may simply be my expectations which are wrong. The Kung Po chicken was great.

I wish we had discovered Yiu's a long time ago. Their food is served with fresh ingredients and it smells fresh and delicious before you've tasted it. The food is very well flavoured and tasty and looks good! This has become our regular place, they don't deliver but they are very quick to have your order ready. We've never had a meal here which we haven't really enjoyed and appreciated. If we fancy Chinese food it's always Yiu's. Recommended.

Had several meals now and all have been fantastic. Really great food. Fresh and tasty. Good portion sizes and well priced. Several unusual dishes, Cantonese cuisine is fab. Very friendly. Clear plastic tops to foil containers are brill, you can see exactly what each dish is without the guesswork! Will be back for more!

We've recently moved to this side of town and were disappointed to be so far away from our old regular Chinese take out. The Chinese ladies that work in a nail shop on Birchfield Road were all getting their lunch from this place and I asked them if it was good food in their opinion and they said they'd not go anywhere else. That was good enough for me and next time I fancied a Chinese we called Yiu's. Well, I only wish that I had found this place sooner. Not only was the food incredibly tasty, it was cooked to perfection, not oily or greasy, it was as close to homemade cantonese food I think that you can get - right here in Northampton! I'm no longer sad we don't live just a walk away from our old favourite Chinese as this place beats it hands down and I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you Team Yiu's!
