Fabulous beautifully prepared lunch. Homemade mushroom soup, toasted sandwich with imaginative side salad and coleslaw! Wonderful coffee. Highly recommend

This place has changed hands quite a few times and our experiences have been very mixed but I sincerely hope the current owners/managers stay ! We visited yesterday on a sweltering hot day and chose to sit inside. Since this cafe has been refurbished it feels roomy and well decorated and with doors to both ends of the long room, it allowed a breeze to gently blow in the room and made the temperature just right. We had the Ploughman's lunch which was served quite quickly and a large pot of tea for two, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best lunch time meals I have had in years. Lovely warm bread, ample butter, lovely ham off the bone, three generous portions of cheese, pickle and a lovely tasty salad. This will be our go to place when we are out this way again and the experience made our day. Thank you to all concerned !

It was a very wet dull day for photography so we called here because it was open quite early. From walking in it was very clean and straight away the service was very friendly. Our breakfast was very nice and served hot and fresh and with a piping hot teapot of Yorkshire tea. Will most definitely call again.

I spotted the Oakwood on the high street so browsed the menu and loved the diversity and concept of cuisines with a Great variety We Had a feast consisting of their famous tacos mine was tofu along with the vegan satay , mushroom wings and Vietnamese fries with Fast friendly service Can’t fault any dish and all Full of flavour Well thought through and enjoyed everything Plus Super Vegan friendly and had so many options with a separate menu too My mum and dad loved the surf and turf Overall a great lunch to see us through the afternoon and would return

The food was very good. I'm not sure that having dogs in the restaurant section ( when you can eat in the pub bit) is a good idea or conducive to the intended atmosphere.

Fabulous! Wanted a birthday at a country pub to relax with family, have a few cold beers and great food and the Little Mill certainly did not disappoint! Great pub, the kids loved the garden and activities and we loved the food and service! Great staff more than accommodating and made us all feel very welcome! Thank You
