Fabulous beautifully prepared lunch. Homemade mushroom soup, toasted sandwich with imaginative side salad and coleslaw! Wonderful coffee. Highly recommend

This place has changed hands quite a few times and our experiences have been very mixed but I sincerely hope the current owners/managers stay ! We visited yesterday on a sweltering hot day and chose to sit inside. Since this cafe has been refurbished it feels roomy and well decorated and with doors to both ends of the long room, it allowed a breeze to gently blow in the room and made the temperature just right. We had the Ploughman's lunch which was served quite quickly and a large pot of tea for two, and I can honestly say that this was one of the best lunch time meals I have had in years. Lovely warm bread, ample butter, lovely ham off the bone, three generous portions of cheese, pickle and a lovely tasty salad. This will be our go to place when we are out this way again and the experience made our day. Thank you to all concerned !

It was a very wet dull day for photography so we called here because it was open quite early. From walking in it was very clean and straight away the service was very friendly. Our breakfast was very nice and served hot and fresh and with a piping hot teapot of Yorkshire tea. Will most definitely call again.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch served by Jasmine, who was friendly and very efficient and catered for all our needs. Would highly recommend The Bulls Head for a meal.

Best Cheese and onion pie in the land. I travel 45 mins to get a cheese and onion pie they are that good. Tip. Call up first because they sell out . Lovely folk who run the place. Breakfast is really nice too.
