Proper greasy spoon! Ended up here after aiming for climbing at Chee Tor and it raining. The builder reading the menu whilst having a rummage in his pants at eye level and clearing his sinuses next to our table only added to the experience.

Quick stop while I was out on the bike. Butty and a brew. Great food, decent coffee and fair prices. Will definitely stop there again.

The food was nice and well priced but the staff weren’t friendly. Both came in from having a cigarette and I didn’t see either wash their hands before preparing the food I ordered. We were going to sit in but decided to take away due to their attitude.

If you can’t fry an egg maybe try a different career.

Absolutely fantastic breakfasts. Hands down the best in Buxton. Been coming here for a fair few years now and never had a bad one, my only issue is I now live further away so don't go as often as I used too.

Has become a regular Sunday thing, both me and my husband absolutely love the medium breakfast here and they alter to my fussy needs. Highly recommended

How a cafe should be. Reasonable prices, large delicious breakfasts and good service. Charlie does an extremely good job having to cook and run the Laundrette next door too. One of my fav eating places in Buxton now and I’ll definitely return again. Locals should definitely start going there more often. No other cafe in Buxton like it. ❤️

The lady behind the bar was very rude and confrontational as we walked in. Demanding we checked in on the track and trace app without a please or ‘if you would’. Later into the evening all 4 of us were sat together talking and joking when the same lady came over to us and told us to keep the noise down due to ‘spray’. Whatever this means! The pub was empty, 2 other tables to be exact. After the attitude shown we clearly weren’t welcome to have a drink and some food here and promptly left. The Fiveways used to be a brilliant night out and enjoyable for all. What a sad decline this place has endured.

Just orderd 2 large breakfast and been had off! Never seen a breakfast like it! Asked for bacon well done and sausage and come like it was still alive eggs looked like they’ve been thrown about cudnt even tell they was eggs everything on this breakfast was under cooked toast is warm bread only thing that was just ok was beans and tomoatoes had weird taste cudnt even be bothered to walk back and stand at the counter for another half hour and wait to be seen don’t know how it’s still open needs good clean n few licks of paint for nice place in Buxton looks like cafe in Mosside 😂

An excellent breakfast at a good price. Was recommended to us via the cleaner of our airbnb, and proved that local knowledge is always the best way to go. Plus, they serve bovril, which is too rare in these troubled times.

I called in yesterday to wash 2 large items in their super sized machines at the launderette. The attendant was So pleasant and helpful..and I enjoyed a great cup of tea while waiting. When one of my items hadn't come clean she helped me run the machine again with powder and bleach and ended up staying open til 5.30 for me. (I hadn't realised she was supposed to close up at 5pm !) Thank you so much for such excellent service !!

A cold cold Saturday, Bacon roll and a mug of tea. Perfect. The cafe does a wholle range of breakfast type dishes from full english to less but also does sandwiches and other food on the go. Free newspapers whilst you eat. pleasant sevice.

If you want a bumper and plentiful cooked breakfast then this is the place to go. The staff are friendly and professional and the prices are reasonable.

Lovely little cafe, friendly staff and good prices. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying at Premier Inn and want a proper breakfast.

The full English is excellent! It set me up for a day of hiking in the hills. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

The Fiveways Cafe is situated on a five way junction on the way into Buxton centre when travelling from the south. Perhaps to the first time customer it does not look the most inviting but I would strongly suggest you go inside as there will be a warm welcome and good food at low cost. I went there for a breakfast when staying at the Premier Inn which is about about a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast for two with hot drinks came to about £11. I had a full cooked breakfast that was freshly cooked and very tasty. As the food is of such good value perhaps the best sausages are not used but this did not detract from the overall taste. It is a popular cafe with seating for perhaps about 16 people. Importantly it is open seven days a week. Not everywhere in Buxton is open at the weekends - particularly on a Sunday. I would recommend that you give the place a visit next time you are in Buxton. If you also need to do your washing there is also a launderette in the adjoining room that is part of the same business. Do visit - your custom will be appreciated.

great food, great price, very trustworthy and friendly staff (particulary to bikers) would defo choose this rather than the Buckingham hotel if they bothered to do food.

Bacon roll good value but prefer the other cafe I used for breakfast to be honest. Nothing wrong though, as ever it’s personal taste.

Full english breakfast served quickly and tasted lovely, omelettes were good as well, staff were really friendly and value really good looked like a favorite for locals parking on street only downside as at busy crossroads but food was great

This is a cafe and a launderette in one but do not let that fool you. The food is nice and fresh as are the staff. Eat in or take-away.

Good place to pop in for fresh sandwiches or a heart breakfast. The atmosphere here is always good with a mix of people. Food good and well priced.

Fiveways are great value and do great breakfasts and sandwiches. You can eat in or take away. I love the breakfasts which I eat in and also if I am out and about I will get a bap to take away which are always fresh with nice salad. Good prices too.

Daughter took me here for breakfast ehilst she got her washing done in the attached laundrette. Being in Buxton and a stone's throw from the Cat and Fiddle it boasts Great food at affordable prices. A bikers haven, whilst there isn't an area for parking outside, the lads had no problem in the side roads. Don't be fooled into thinking you can eat a medium size breakfast. They're HUGE!!!!

Mi marido y yo tuvimos el desayuno aquí durante una reciente estancia en Buxton. Es un buen café, sin ínfulas y adorna. Te dan tu té con la bolsa en la taza, así que usted puede decidir qué fuerte lo quieres. Mi marido tenía la gran inglés, y yo tenía la pequeña, las raciones fueron muy generosos. La comida era perfectamente comestible, pero no el mejor que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia en la ciudad.

What a lovely welcome from the lady who runs the place, I called to use the laundrette and had a service wash... It's connected to the cafe so I got my laptop out and had Derbyshire oatcakes with bacon and cheese.. Large coffee and home made cake !!... Excellent washing experience !!. And a huge thank you to your daughter for helping me with my laptop !!...

Perfect stop if your on a road trip and need somewhere to do washing on the go. Big washing machines - can fit two peoples clothes, can get laundry washed and dried in an hour so doesn't hold you up long, just enough time to stop for brekkie. Lovely, reasonably priced cafe attached. Great, friendly staff.
