Rutland Cafe in Erewash

I had the English breakfast and it was boom , everything was cooked to perfection the ladies were loverly and the little seating area out back was tidy . ( also the bathroom was really clean ! ) 10/10

Down this part of town again so called in for a coffee and a cake to takeaway, decent choice of cakes with quick and efficient service.

We went today on the spur of the moment for breakfast and it was really good! The waitress was very helpful, breakfast came quite quickly and we would go again!

Service with a smile and a decent cup of coffee is just what I needed when I was down this part of town, support local businesses through this difficult time.

I went up to IIkeston to look at a car locally.My friend had picked out this establishment for our breakfast...Wow..What a great choice...lovely welcome as we walked in.Lovely little place with great prices.I had the full English breakfast and my friend had the Humble special breakfast.Food was excellent...good quality and cooked to perfection.My full breakfast consisted of 2 sausages,2 pieces of back bacon,mushrooms,egg and beans with two slices of toast.I thouroughly enjoyed it.The two ladies who run the cafe were lovely ladies...made us feel very welcome and very polite.I would recommend this cafe....wish it was a lot nearer to me...!! Thank you.

Went this morning and really impressed!! Lovely staff, great coffee and an even better breakfast. Had a rumblers breakfast without mushroom and asked if I could have an extra egg instead which wasn't a problem at all. 8 lads had breakfast and all came out at the same time pretty much. Definitely be back and £8 for a breakfast and a coffee, spot on!

Me and a few lads went for a bite to eat before our game today. The ladies in the cafe were really welcoming and served a quality breakfast. Excellent value for money and decent quality ingredients. We tend to go back every morning we have a home game from now on. Lovely little place!

Went yesterday (3/4/2019) for a birthday lunch with my best friend. Found this to be a little gem of a place. Cosy, casual, very clean, extremely welcoming and friendly, brilliant prices and importantly, very nice food! I’d recommend to anyone and will now be looking for any excuse to go back again! 👍🏻

Me and my family stopped at the humble rumble cafe for breakfast, the prices were amazing for the value of food received. Great staff very friendly and have a variety of foods on offer x

This is a beautiful cafe serving delicious homemade food. The decor is fresh and clean. I have some good memories of this cafe and will certainly visit again.

I've made the Humble Rutland my regular cafe for a breakfast. I always go for the Humble Rumbler. Food has always been fantastic.No nonsense proper fry up with decent ingredients.None of the cheap tasting rubbish you get in a lot of places.Staff are really friendly especially Richard who will always stop for a chat if he's not too rushed off his feet.

Breakfast cob was okay but would have liked a spread of butter on it and coffee was lukewarm but it filled a gap.

We have the best breakfast cobs and sandwiches delivered to our work every week - and it arrives hot!!! bonus

Thank you, we brought several children with random requests for odd combinations. All of which were met with kindness. The food was grand, reasonably priced and the service great. We’ll definitely come again.

Took my boys here for a late breakfast. Best breakfast we have had!! Great quality food and super friendly service, the gentleman couldn't do enough for us. Definitely will be back again.

Great value, cooked to order with quality ingredients. Yorkshire tea, Sausages and pies are brilliant and really friendly service. Couldn't ask for more.

The Rutland Cafe is now known as the Humble Rutland after recently being taken over fantastic breakfast and lunch time pies 👌

I've never had a better breakfast then here until it was taken over by Humble Pie and Sausage and now the food is even better 5*. will definitely visit again, great value for money.

Yo trabajo en Ilkeston dos o tres días al mes y normalmente el objetivo de llegar temprano para superar el tráfico. Mi anterior lugar de desayuno cerró así sobre la base de comentarios aquí decidimos probar el Rutland. Me quedé muy impresionado. Buena comida a buenos precios en un ambiente agradable. Este será mi lugar para el desayuno ilkeston de ahora en adelante.

This is our local. Always made welcome food is excellent. The landlady and her family are lovely and go out there way talk. It is a friendly place that welcomes everyone including dogs

Es fácilmente uno de los mejores lugares en Ilkeston para conseguir una comida. Mi pareja y yo uso el cafe Rutland, un montón la comida, siempre hay una cálida bienvenida para nosotros. La sorpresa es el precio, excelente relación calidad-precio, ¿cómo lo hacen? Lugar no puedo esperar para mi desayuno al lado.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Full English full flavour and owner is great laugh. Don't know how he manages to remember what we like every time we go.

If you look at some of my other post you will notice I have eclectic taste and have eaten at a lot of places (evidenced by my expanding physique unfortunately )Therefore, when I say that this has to be the best value breakfast I have ever had it is a comment I don't make lightly. £3.00 for a large breakfast and not consisting of cheap and nasty ingredients either! Well cooked and presented fresh ingredients. My wife's omelette was brimming with cheese and ham and cooked to perfection. It is clean, bright and friendly. We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

Cafe's menu consist's of breakfast, jacket potatoes, cobs, baguette's, light bite's and drinks. Cafe is clean and bright with service quick and efficient, there is parking available close by.
