The best restaurants in East Midlands

Great little gem, food amazing, portions are huge, amazing value for money. Great range of drinks and the gelato is to die for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Boy Inn. Our room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed, air conditioning, coffee making equipment and the kind of bath towels you’d expect in a five star hotel. The proprietors, Dave and Angie, and their employees were outstanding - very service oriented, efficient and kind. The food was very good. We had one dinner and two breakfasts here. Everything was fresh and tasty. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again.

Went to Sanrufos on 24th may for our 45th wedding anniversary the staff the food is amazing they all go above and beyond would definitely recommend

worst indian we have ever had delivered. No flavour, lamb really fatty ended up putting it all in the bin apart from the starter. Love curry but wont be getting it from here again. £35 wasted

1st time visiting Lincoln and it was my husband's birthday, he is Brazilian and this restaurant had been on our list to visit. It did not disappoint, the meat was cooked to perfection and delicious. We were treated very well and had a lovely meal.

Stumbled on this place while walking the canals. Everything was just stunning and great value for money. A hidden gem you must visit!

Always visit this pub/restaurant when we go yo donnington park. Great food and drink selection, indoor and outdoor seating ,would recommend

Service was great, really attentive. Food was exceptionally good, especially the ham hock terrine! We devoured the Sunday roast, which was the tastiest Sunday roast I’ve ever had (along with the best Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying). We ordered all of the three desserts, all amazing dishes and the rhubarb was my favourite. Props and kudos to the chef, Adam!

The bar is well stocked with beers ales & ciders. Wine & cocktails too although these are a bit pricey. The restaurant's a bit basic for me serving simple pasta dishes with ordinary sauces, shop bought desserts & all a bit overpriced (IMHO). Worth a try but difficult to remember.

Nice shots & upstairs roof bar. Really cosy & nice atmosphere. Didn't eat - maybe next time.

Birthday lunch today. Last minute decision Family party of 6 and well behaved toddler. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Zoe for looking after us. We will be back
