The best restaurants in West Lindsey East Midlands

Me and my friends meet up for dinner every few weeks, mid week. Whenever we go to the Lincolnshire Otter we always get great service, good food that's reasonably priced and comes quick after ordering. It's a clean and well maintained place with plenty of parking, and charging stations for my EV.

Booked for evening meal and we were seated in noisy room at the back of the restaurant. Poor lighting, uncomfortable chairs and tight for space made it uncomfortable. Noisy party at the next table with small children. Asked, bug no other tables available. On previous occasions we have had good food here, but on this occasion the food was just about average - chicken was tough and dry, our order was wrong and a meal had to be returned. Friends opted for cheesecake on my recommendation but it wasn’t great and the chocolate tasted stale. Sadly not the experience we had been looking forward to.

Visited this place yesterday, service was impeccable, really pleased with how I was treated here, especially by the lad on the front till. Food was also brilliant, great prices and very tasty. Be mindful that it is collection only and cash only. Will be returning!

Siendo un par de OAP's tenemos que tener cuidado en cuanto a dónde vamos para un 'regalo' y cuándo. Fuimos por última vez a esta cabaña en julio y era agradable, así como el excelente personal. Teníamos nuestros favoritos de la gama PAN entonces, así que pedimos la misma pizza de nuevo. Teniendo en cuenta que había mirado las fotos de la comida en el sitio web antes de reservar para el 22 de octubre y estábamos esperando ver la comida de calidad que tuvimos la última vez! ¡QUÉ DECEPCIÓN! ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ El entrante de PAN DE AJO solo se hizo por un lado, no estaba muy caliente, parecía pálido por el otro lado, era suave y era absolutamente INSÍPIDO. ¡Luego llegó la MAINS! ¡Mi pollo Supreme Pan ciertamente no lo era! Esperaba que me presentaran una corteza marrón y crujiente con una buena porción de ingredientes como la que tuve en julio pasado. Solo había el medio de la pizza con cualquier cobertura y tuve que mirar para ver qué era qué. Una vez comidos el medio y los ingredientes, solo quedaba corteza pálida y suave. Mis socios batean pizza Fajita era de la misma construcción y nos fuimos sintiéndonos 45 libras más pobres y muy muy decepcionados. Creo que tal vez eran vacaciones escolares de medio término y el excelente personal estaba bajo presión, pero NO voy a ir a PIZZA HUT de nuevo en vacaciones escolares por esa razón. También he pasado estos comentarios a Servicio al Cliente de Pizza Hut.

Asistimos al brunch, sonó la campana que fue respondida inmediatamente y estábamos sentados. Luego esperamos 20 minutos sin que nadie viniera a tomar la orden y tuvimos que ir a la caja donde esperé otros 5 minutos antes de que alguien viniera. Mal servicio cuando no están ocupados por lo que no querría asistir cuando están. Los pisos estaban sucios alrededor de nuestra mesa y muchos otros no volverían a visitar

Coffee and cake(apple & cinnamon )very nice however don’t rate service. Girl was rude, unfriendly and sullen. Won’t be back.

Had a wonderful stay at this amazing little gem of a hotel. The evening meal was sensational, packed with flavour and so fresh. The pub is charming and full history from the surrounding area, our room was spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend a stay.

The food was exceptional. Everything about the experience was top drawer. Definitely will return. Highly recommend.

Lovely toasted sandwich and coffee this morning on my visit to Marshall's Yard. Very pleasant and helpful staff, kindly brought my food and drink to my table for me. A nice break from the shopping.

Best breakfast sandwich I have had in a ling time. Superb service and attention to detail. Fanstic value for money without sacrificing quality. 10/10

What a delightful find The Black Bull in Welton turned out to be! On a recent drive through the Lincolnshire countryside, we spontaneously decided to stop for Sunday lunch, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Even though it was clearly a popular choice (we were allocated the very last table for four - phew!), the atmosphere was warm and inviting from the moment we stepped inside. The service we received was truly outstanding. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel instantly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and their genuine smiles really added to the enjoyable experience. And then there was the food! Absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. Our Sunday lunches were excellent, with generous portions of perfectly cooked traditional fare. What's even better is that it was all so reasonably priced – fantastic value for such high quality. To top it all off, the locals were incredibly welcoming too, adding to the genuine and friendly ambiance of the pub. It felt like stepping into a proper village local, full of warmth and good cheer. We left The Black Bull feeling completely satisfied and genuinely thrilled that we stumbled upon this gem. We're already looking forward to our next visit, which definitely won't be in the too distant future! If you're in the Lincolnshire area, make sure to put The Black Bull in Welton on your list – you won't be disappointed!
