Myself and two close friends visited after a Funeral last week.We were impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere on entering the venue. The music was good.Our portions of food was larger than we expected for the price,the quality was that of a proper home cooked meal. I am not easily impressed but was very happy and satisfied after my visit. I will definitely recommend to friends visiting Gainsborough and will return whenever I visit again.

An absolute gem of a restaurant next to a beautiful church. The food was exceptional, delicious and beautifully presented. There was a wide choice on the menu easily catering for two vegetarians in our group. The cheese soufflé and the scallops in particular were delicious. The service was five star with Hayley doing an amazing job of looking after us. I would very highly recommend The Cross Keys.

Had lunch yesterday (easter sunday). 4 of us and 2 cocker spaniels 😊. The sun was shining so we sat and ate outside. I have to say the price was very reasonable and the food was amazing, obviously have an excellent chef . The waiters very friendly too. Highly recommended. Jo

Alcohol free beer over £8 for 2 bottles. Had Thai fish curry tasted like an aldi ready meal, with packet rice. Mixed grill was OK. For the price I expected better. First & last visit

McDonald's, shocking again, just a shame they don't tell you about the wait when you make your order. Customer service are more than happy to help, shame the staff aren't the same. Just been again to Gainsborough MacDonald s this time to just get a coffee, wow what a farce ordered one coffee and some how paid for two and it took 15 minutes to arrive. There was around ten car's behind me so did not want to hold them up for a £1.98 refund, will never frequent the place again also just remember that it's fresh food now and not fast food so please be prepared to wait. Nice wording Ronald.

This spot is Amazing if you ever need something quick and delicious to eat. The food service and the Restaurant itself is amazing. You may receive complimentary extra food from the chef if you're kind. In general i think Spiced Lotus is a great place to order food from on a happy day.

La primera vez que visité este café caminé en una mesa a la izquierda que estaba limpia pidió 2 capuchinos y 2 desayunos capuchino llegó muy agradable! pero esperamos y esperamos y esperamos la comida finalmente el desayuno llegó colocado en la mesa no cubiertos pensó que la señora había ido a buscar algunos, pero ella continuó haciendo algo en la cocina tuvo que buscar en otras mesas para obtener nuestros propios cubiertos! El huevo frito definitivamente no era un huevo frito, ciertamente no estaba corrido, la tostada era como pan caliente definitivamente no tostado, aunque el tocino era agradable y crujiente.

Usually go for burgers and the 16" square pizza... Both of which are great. Would give 5 stars of it weren't for prices - prices are 10-30% more expensive than other local takeaways.

Ordered online, took my money and wasn’t even open! This was October 2023. Placed an order online and it processed as if they were making the deserts and even told us when it was ready to collect

Food was ok, could have refreshed some of the items, The Trent Port Gainsbrough. We were served by Cat, Service was great with good timing.
