great food and drink not bad price. good location lincolnshire finnest good service and great for all the family.

Service a little slow - but was seated quickly and water jug on table within a few moments. Food was okay when it arrived.Except my granddad's meal - it was cold - he didn't say anything as he didn't want to cause a fuss. Interior was lovely- but did smell of dogs(this could of been because there were 3 in the room on our arrival) The staff were friendly.

We were heading somewhere else and happened upon this Pub and thought it looked great. The interior was charming and the menu sounded lovely BUT the food was awful. My companion sent his back but I was too embarrassed to do the same. The presentation and the experience are simply a mis-match. Service was incredibly slow; we were waiting for a ridiculously long time before we even got a drink. I normally have a pudding, but we didn't bother on the basis that the main courses were so dreadful. I'm afraid we'll be avoiding this one in future.

Thank you so much for a fantastic meal and amazing, friendly service. It was great to be given water and glasses as soon as we walked in (without having to ask) while we chose our meals and drinks. You have a varied tasty menu that pleased all of us and thank you so much for letting us bring our dog in. Also has great decor and a lovely vibe

The TapHouse & Kitchen in the Bailgate area of Lincoln was a complete surprise find. The rooftop terrace overlooked by the beautiful cathedral is a lovely place for a lunchtime meal and drink. The service was first class, the food (a fish sharing platter for two) was delicious and the price reasonable, in all I would highly recommend this eaterie. Although we ate upstairs we did notice an open kitchen where chefs could be seen preparing food so on another occasion we will stay downstairs and partake in a meal prepared in full view of the diners.
