Haven't played darts in years but I did and they got the best set up around this area

I would not recommend eating here. Good for darts and playing Pool. We had a bad stomach after eating here. It is cheap.

Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Called in for a tea time pint whilst passing at the end of a carriage drive through Willington Woods and back to Lindsey Caravan Park. Made very welcome by staff and punters.

Good place for drink. Toilets need regular inspection and cleaning.

I have never stayed somewhere as poorly managed, kept and unfriendly. Check-in was rushed, the man wouldn't even smile. He showed us to our room and walked away before we could say anything. We wanted to complain but were unable to find anyone throughout our 2 night stay. The rooms were uncleaned and falling apart. The music in the bar goes until 12am on a Saturday and the live band until 11pm. The live band was so loud the room was shaking. I wanted to raise a complaint and talk to someone on check out but the pub was locked and no way of contacting. Stay anywhere else.

Firstly we booked our room back in February, when we get to the pub they have booked our room out to someone else (I specifically asked for that one because of the bath) who only booked two weeks prior but wouldn’t honour the fact we had it booked since February! The response was “you can have it for one night then we will need to move you” The room was dirty, cobwebs, ripped torn chair, hairs in the bath and rusty radiator. See pictures. They don’t serve food either!

We were three walking the Viking Way and had booked to stay at the White Swan. The person in charge was quite aggressive when we arrived, he didn't appear to able to find the booking, the room I was in was stale and had used towels strewn over the shower room floor, it felt like someone had slept in the sheets before me, there is no food or breakfast...we should have stayed at the Advocate. Horrible.

What can I say first time for over a yr Bank holiday weekend was looking forward to band (wasn’t one but free music which was appreciated ) then met the worst bar manager who listening and over hearing what we said !! About how rubbish the beer was ,then slating the bar staff.yet he poured the worst pint of the night !!!! (Couldn’t pour tap water)Then when i Put the comment on bar web site (Facebook )page instantly removed and blocked me Really does says it all (and yes he like a drink or 2) free

The Swan has a new landlord...thank goodness!!!...he's doing a great job in trying to get it back on its feet!!!

Friendly family oriented pub with a good sized beer garden. Haven't had their food recently, but it used to be good. The pub remains friendly and not too busy in the afternoon. Now under new management. In fact, very quiet

Never stay here as the room we had had damp shower wouldn't drain away until I cleaned away the top of the drain No milk in room. Staff polite and helpful. Booked for breakfast kitchen was closed No communication from the hotel to advise kitchen was closed before we travelled.

Honestly? We first sat down at a table that hadn't been wiped down. Then we moved to a clean table. My partner had smothered chicken. The whole meal didn't taste fresh. I had the tuna melt panini. Melt? I expected cheese with it, but there was none. The side salad: It was warm and greasy, is if it had been scraped off someone else's leftover's plate. We both ended up with a horrible taste of old frying oil in our mouths. I did NOT have anything fried in the meal I had ordered! The worst meals we have had in a long time!

The staff are amazing! What friendly, helpful and polite young ladies. Really tasty food as well, much better than standard pub food and great value. Nice children's menu and great play area. Will definitely be back!

After winning a competition through their Facebook page, my partner and I went to The White Swan on Valentine’s Day. We had a warming and friendly greeting from the staff and had no wait to be seated. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed with plenty of space between tables. We were served by two different waitresses, both were friendly, polite and eager to help with anything, they made us feel right at home! My partner and I ordered the rump steak with peppercorn sauce which was incredible. Generous portions of amazing food, the steak was cooked perfectly to how we had asked for it, the salad was fresh and tasty, the chips were some of the best we’ve had and the peppercorn sauce was delicious! For dessert my partner had brownie with ice cream which had a wonderful gooey centre and I had strawberry cheesecake with strawberry ice cream, both were delightful. We haven’t had a bad experience at the White Swan and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on all our visits. The staff are so wonderful and really make it feel like a welcoming place to visit. Highly recommended!

Have just got home from having the most delicious Roast Turkey Dinner with my 10 year old ASD son. I’m a single mum so find some places intimidating. The staff are amazing & so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The portions are huge with 4 different vegetable with a large homemade yorkie & plenty of gravy! I would high recommend the homemade Brownie if you have room! A great experience 👍👍

Today had Sunday lunch 2 of us had vegetarian option that was really good the other 2 had turkey roast and salmon.. we were all impressed with the food ... puddings also were enjoyed ... we sat in bar area as had little dog with us it is good to find dog friendly places to eat . Staff were so helpful and friendly . We will be visiting again !

5 of us had Christmas lunch outing today, excellent food all fresh not frozen perfect in every way. Staff (Tracey) very nice nothing too much trouble.

What can one say. If not for the food it is worth a visit for the service and atmosphere anyway. The food is lovely enough, hot, tasty and as expected. The specials change regularly so there's something different each time one pops in. But, the real pull to this lovely place is the staff. Very down to earth and welcoming. You get a real sense of community here which is unheard of. We eat here at least once a week. Whether it's Sunday lunch, the odd plate of nachos or a burger and fries, we know it will be worth the visit. And with a Staropramen and a glass of wine with ice waiting on the bar as we enter, we know our visit was worth it.

Went for a Sunday Roast with my 9 year old autistic son. Service was amazing and excellent food, plenty for us both, will def go again soon, faultless.

Excellent place for a overnight stay after spending the day at the races superb staff and excellent food best Sunday dinner! Manager was so lovely &helpful excellent prices for food & drink thank you for a lovely stay.

Very nice food, got a play area for kids and free ice with a kids meal very friendly staff would definitely recommend

When we went into the pub, we were told there would be a 45 minute wait. The restaurant area wasn’t busy and there were only a few people eating in the bar. What we didn’t realise was that the 45 minute wait was to order the food! After eventually ordering, we had to wait well over an hour for the food to come!! Three of us had burgers, which were a lump of cremated mince with some large pieces of onion in. The roast dinner portion was meagre. The food we got really wasn’t worth the wait. Won’t be eating there again.

My wife and I visit White Swan approximately once every six week. Which has been the case over the past few years. So as I have put in my Review Title, it is good 85% of the time. We have have not had an appalling meal, but on the odd occasion it has not been up to the standard we were first used too. It is probably (but do not know for sure) because they have not had a consistent Chef.

Called in for lunch after walking out of another pub in Market Rasen. The pub was nice and clean and staff were friendly. We had the special of peppered beef stew with mash which was really nice and spicey (although the stew could have been a bit warmer). Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Would return as the best place we have been to in MR.

We booked a table for seven including two teenagers. On arrival our table was ready and we were asked if we wanted any drinks.We had Prawn Cocktails, Homemade mushroom Soup and Pate which were all delicious. For mains we had the steak and ale pie,...

first time visiting here, the food was brilliant, I had the Lamb Shank and it was so nice the meat just fell off the bone

Great pub grub, in a traditional pub with real ales, good selection of lagers. Had burger followed by sticky toffee pudding! Job done
