Blyton Ice Cream Parlour in West Lindsey

My grandparents lived here and my children have always gone and now I am a grandparent I take my grandchildren here and have seen it grow in size to what it is now.

It’s a bit like that place in hibaldstow that shut down, but with more flavours and more contemporary, more flavours than Baskin and Robbins, go here, be happy, eat flavoured cold milky sugar!

My friend found this online, and we called this afternoon. The ice cream was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely try and go back, although it is a little out of our way

Been coming to blyton ice cream for about 10 years. But last two visits the portion side has reduced significantly in size is this a company thing as for the staff they are great.

We love coming here for that impulsive treat. The best ice cream provider in lincolnshire. The lemon cheese cake flavour should be given legendary status! Such lovely staff who can give you all the necessary dietary/allergen info and dessert options. Thank you again.

Popped in just for 4 simple ice cream cones about 3pm on a half term Monday afternoon... not one flavour in the fridge had a flavour label so had to guess what was what. Every flavour we asked for was out of stock... and they weren't strange ones - raspberry, chocolate orange, mint chocolate, etc. Staff were rude in every reply and never made a suggestion of a close alternative or even said 'sorry it's all gone', every reply was 'haven't got that', got the distinct impression they wanted us gone so they could close early. Eventually ended up with plain chocolate which sadly was wishy washy in flavour and expensive given how littleyou got in a portion. Disappointing, a pale shadow of its former self. Won't be back any time soon.

Called today with friend, enjoyed breakfast and a relaxing drink.

This place was once amazing. They've slowly reduced the quality to a point ill not use them as a delivery service ever again. If you go there, it's still absolutely fantastic, but I wouldn't advise trying to get food delivered from here anymore. Portion sizes have reduced massively to a point that it's not worth it.

Use blyton ice creams quite a bit always good flavours But the reason for the review is for the santas breakfast at Christmas time Extremely well done to the staff who got dressed up as Santa and the elves for the younger children in my party that went . They did a fantastic job and made the children feel special while maintaining traditions. I was impressed with their dedication. I would highly recommend it to families with small children and the breakfasts was very good too

Nice little Christmas market and a car meeting on the same day. They were really busy and the food was a bit overcooked but still quite nice. Santa's little helper was AMAZING really good with the kids and funny/entertaining for the adults Worth another visit

Recent visit to see Santa 15/12/24. great Santa and the two Elf’s were amazing today . Ice cream always amazing . One negative management needed to realise two elf’s not enough two deal with 8 family’s at once especially with all the activities the Elf’s was Rushed off there feet and they was brilliant.

Normally very good, today terrible Luke warm drinks tables not cleared . Very disappointing staff standing around not doing anything, the older lady was trying to do everything, maybe the younger staff need a kick

Don’t bother waiting at the outside service window if you want to be served . Waited awhile , then rang bell was noticed , waited a while someone came towards me , took apron off and went else where. Was hoping to buy large cartons of ice cream , to no avail.

Took over 2 hours to get to us for the delivery driver to put the milkshake on top of the pizza box when passing it to me then falling on to my £100 rug

Sat here 30 mins waiting for our ice cream . Everyone around us who came in after us getting there’s .( one the same as what we had ordered before them ) Finally ask how much longer ours will be . To have the girl ask the table number . Come back and ask what some of our order was ! Then told it was cooking . Doughnuts and crepes ! 40 mins later . Ice cream great , service disgusting . Needs work .

Very disappointed, was left waiting when we initially arrived with 2 members of staff more interested in cleaning than actually serving. When we did eventually get served several flavours were unavailable.

Met up with a friend for coffee on a Monday lunchtime. Staff friendly but toilets were dirty,even thick dust on pipework. All the outdoor bins in the garden/play area were overflowing. Needs a deep clean.

I think my daughters' Dad had more fun playing in the park, than they did.

One of my family members cannot have any dairy products the young man serving went above and beyond to ensure they could offer a vegan option and made sure there was no contamination with the serving tools he did this even though there was a queue but did not make us feel rushed

The best local ice cream parlour with 70+ flavours. It's gets very busy at times and could benefit from more space in the garden, getting rid of the stones for the older generation and more tables and parasols. Food also is very nice

Came for ice cream. Service was excellent and very speedy. One member has a nut allergy. As soon as we informed them they were fantastic. Choose flavour could have, they go and collect a new carton that hasn’t been opened so no cross contamination and freshly wash the ice cream scoop. 3 medium ice creams in a cone £7. Excellent value

Great selection of ice cream and food in the restaurant with reasonable prices. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a play area for the kids, also ample parking.

Customer service was seriously lacking very clueless employees and slow service took over 15 minutes for my ice cream sundae. Was very quiet and waiting at the counter for ages to be served.

Saw lots of lovely meals being eaten by other people and I had a fantastic ice cream from a massive selection.

i ordered a milkyway milkshake and it didn’t come with cream which is fair enough i went and asked the tall blonde woman with spots to put some cream on and she said i had to pay extra for it which i would have done but she snatched it out of my hands and muttered no need for the attitude???? I had no attitude i was perfectly fine with paying extra 😂😂This was Thursday 1st august keep your workers in line

Loads of parking and places to sit. Play area for the kids and friendly staff. Ice cream is Amazing and loads of flavours. Also had a cafe serving tasty hot food.

Good choice..always a nice place to stop off whilst on route. Noticed This time that the facilities were a but tired and needed a clean...

Ice cream is very expensive (£8.20 for two cones) and the staff are not friendly or attentive. The ice cream is fairly nice though.

We were out tootling, did a search on Google for "ice cream" So we followed her directions. A vast array of flavours to choose from. Plus some "Sundeas" quite a few actually. A little time to prepare but they were busy On the Negative side No Decaffeinated Coffee that's a big no no

This ice cream parlour is very popular and deservingly so - loads of flavours and very reasonably priced.

Disappointing. I've heard so much about this place and was really looking forward to trying it out. I'm assuming standards had slipped because of how busy they were, but unfortunately there wasn't really anything that impressed us. Countless mucky tables with cups and plates on them. The milkshakes that we ordered looked absolutely nothing like on the menu, They were not as described and we were refunded for these. I felt the price as we paid didn't reflect the food and drinks we received. But to be Really picky my biggest gripe was the service. Two separate servers leaned right over in front of me and one actually brushed my nose with a plate. I just think it's rude to lean over customers. Both of the servers just placed the food on the table anywhere random without asking who it belonged to. I don't think I will be in any rush to come back. It didn't live up to the expectations.

The ice cream here is very good with an array of flavours. We had 2 X large ice creams which was £12. Negative thoughts were some of the staff seemed miserable.

Excellent ice-cream with a gluten free cone option. Other food and drinks are available. There is ample parking and plenty of indoor and outdoor se.ating with children's play areas.

When here with friends after hearing how good it was, ice-cream was nice but expensive and not very big, normally go to Appleby ice-cream cheaper and lots bigger

Took nearly 2 hours to be delivered. However driver did apologise but didn’t think it would take 2 hours to deliver 2 waffles

We just called for an ice cream after walking the dogs on a local public footpath! The ice cream was lovely and the service at the counter was excellent with a polite young man serving us 😊!!

Placed an order, 30 mins later went to see where it was. They had forgotten about it, no apologies nothing. Very poor service

Visited this evening for an icecream,parked very close to the entrance in a disabled bay only to find the entrance area was under 3 to 4 inches of water and access was impossible even an able-bodied person would need good wellingtons to gain access.

Ice cream melted, hot waffles cold. All tasted odd. Unfortunately not the first time. Won’t be trying again

We sometimes call for an ice cream. There's over 70 flavours to choose from. You have to be patient because scooping ice cream takes time. However it's worth the wait 🍦

Not enough staff to cope with the amount of people there tonight, and the old lady serving looked well past it . Slow was an understatement. Such a-shame .

Waited in line, got to the front and asked for waffles to be told they had no waffle mix. So asked for crepes instead, said had no crepe mix either, could only do ice cream itself. So said (okay I was a little rude as the attitude when told this was a bit off), doesn't matter come specifically for these and left. Walked 4 steps and a lady (who works there) came out and said 'i can do waffles'..... So had to rejoin to queue to order what we were just told they didn't have..... Very confused by the whole experience - could the staff just not be bothered who knows..... Will steer clear in future. Not worth the hassle

I had the smoked haddock fishcakes, they're new to the menu, I thoroughly enjoyed them. First time I'd been to Blyton ice cream would definitely recommend it and not just for ice cream.

Believe me when I say too much choice is a bad thing! Especially when you're in a queue haha First time going here but I've known about the brand for a long time. Perfect beautiful ice cream full of flavour and yes pretty big portions. Prices are steep but you could argue your paying for quality. The Rolls Royce of ice-cream and to see the farm where it's name was pretty cool too. Seems to be a lot of parking so suggesting it gets busy to warrant so many spaces. I saw a cafe at the back and a kids outdoor play area, a lot sat outside. I went to the service hatch on the road side. Lots of cars coming in and out so keep little ones close by when waiting. Dog ice-cream available here.

If the food is going to be late there needs to be an easy option to cancel……or contact made so customer can swap to collection

Waited 2 hours after ordering and it came with items swapped. No proper cookie in the munchy box but instead 4 small cookies you get in a biscuit packet. Definitely not worth how expensive it is.

I visited on a rainy Wednesday morning for some breakfast and an ice cream. We had toasted teacakes and tea, both of which were hot and delicious. We then wanted to try a few flavours of ice cream and the staff suggested we try a sundae which is served in a great dish which has four separate areas for ice cream and a space for sauce and a topping. You can choose from all the ice cream flavours and a selection of toppings.and sauces, there is so much choice it is wonderful. It was a great way to try a few flavours and share with family or friends. The ice cream here is the best I have ever had, their flavours are so great and crammed full of additions like chocolate cake in the black forest gateau flavour, and pieces of muffin in the blueberry muffin flavour. A trip to Blyton is always a great idea!!

Google keeps constantly asking me about this venue. Is it bugged? Is it on the map multiple times? Either way the ice cream is delicious and the opening hours are generous. 🍦🍦🍦
