We went for breakfast and we all ordered the traditional breakfast, everything was ok apart from my toast was burnt, the staff was very good and got me some more, everything else was o.

Reasonable sized spoons in a good location friendly staff with average food on this occasion.

we visit this weatherspoons 3-4 times a week for both meals and drinks, we have 3-4 drinks on each visit. Today visiting with family for christmas we was intending to stay for a few hours, we ordered food and a drink to go with it, i was drinking the same drink i always have but today the boss lady made my drink with soda not lemonade as it’s always made, it tasted horrible so i went to the bar to explain the staff today were horrible and refused to help with this situation. This will be the last time we ever set foot in this place, never ever again will i put money in there till horrible staff!!!!!!

Full of the usual people with a drinking problem. You will see the same old faces if you go for breakfast. Loud old men drinking and chatting. Had a Christmas burger meal here, it was Luke warm and not very tasty. Ended up with a upset stomach not for the first time after eating here. The staff do a good job for the most part.

bartender was very polite and Was suprised when I ordered a print of cider and it only cost £1.99

Staff were friendly. Food we ate was good. Clean in bar area. However. We didn’t have sauce (see below why) Disabled toilet: shocking. Door left unlocked so all were using it. When I needed it I had to wait to only see 2 people (a couple) coming out after a little fun! Toilet stank, of wee and possibly could be from nappy bin contributed. These toilets need to be regularly checked. Sauce: we were appalled to see the sauce bottles being topped up from other bottles. Staff told us the always do it and never completed a level 2 food handling course.. by topping up this mixes batches and also over a period of time there will still be old sauce mixed in with new. If you have completed your health and safety environmental training you will know this is not acceptable. I’m undecided at this time to report it to environmental health but feel you need to train staff on food hygiene. It may seem petty but it’s Health and safety and you are providing a food service.

Great service here, always a nice place, good coffee machines kept well serviced. Food is great, has never been an issue. Female loos are miles away (up two flights, down some others, round there, in there and come out at a mansion, typical spoons haha)

Overheard a guy called (i believe his name was Steve) being less than professional to a customer, berating her as he got an order wrong, It wasn't pleasant and ruined my dinning experience.

Great Wetherspoons pub. Spacious, excellent customer service, good ambience. Generally busy without feeling overcrowded, except at peak times occasionally. Fast service, never had any problems with the food. Accessible toilet at the back of the pub, always clean and open to use. Prices are great, and it’s located very centrally.

Friendly and competitive service and food. The menu has a vast selection of food and drink and great deals on both dependant upon what day it is. The menu displays lots of information and calories and allergen information is clearly visible. You can use their app to order food and drink and find out more nutritional information and advice.

Cheap and lots of vegetarian options. Loved bangers and mash. Loo was a trek for elderly but clean when I got there. Thank you.

Vegetarian breakfast and hot drinks for £6.55. Most of the breakfast was warm/hot, but the eggs were overcooked, and the mushroom could have been cooked a little more.

The Sweyn Forkbeard has a wide range of beers lager and cider, including four hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales at very cheap prices. The cask ales we sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming the service was very quick despite the place being very busy. The food was very good. There is an outside seating area, and the pub is featured in the camra good beer guide.

A decent Wetherspoons in the heart of g-town. Good value food and drinks, what’s not to like?

Service stood at various for 10 minutes staff member looked at me and did not. Small children from the local gypsy site run around the place knocked down a table won't be going in there again minus 1 star rating

Helpful happy staff varied drinks

It’s a Wetherspoons so the food and drink are reasonably priced. We visited on the afternoon when England were playing later in the Euros so there were a few fans gathering to watch the game. Ordered via the app and drinks came very quickly and the food wasn’t far behind. Fish was a bit small but enough - just glad I didn’t order the small fish!! But is was well cooked and hot. My wife had a burger and that was very good All in all a nice meal and very reasonably priced. Staff were very nice and I would certainly go back.

Typical cheap and cheerful wetherspoons, good prices, we had one buttermilk chicken burger which was very nice and a double beefburger which was burnt. Will go again though. Free 1 hour parking then cheap enough after that.

It’s a Wetherspoon’s pub, you get exactly what you see. Food is relatively cheap, drinks are cheap and staff were polite.

Returned begrudging some time later and was reasonably surprised. Some investment and the litter of pigs had been replaced by contented customers. No longer were cattle welcomed and instead friendly staff fulfilled orders without the sinister undertones of years gone by. Fair play, the pub is now not a chore to visit and you no longer need a shower when you get home. The food is fine and the atmosphere much improved.

Been in tonight,which supposed to be St georges day,and not a flag or anything in sight!!! Absolutely disgusting! When it's st Patrick's day,there's flags ,Irish beers,but nothing for England!!! Where's the patriotic spirit?

There are alot better Wetherspoons than this one. Very dirty and when asked for my table to be wiped it wasn't done well and we stuck to the table. Queue at the bar with one staff member serving whilst the remaining staff were talking about shift patterns loudly. Customer service needs big attention as does cleanliness.

It's a Wetherspoons. And it's in Gainsborough. So cheaper booze, basic food and all day drunks aplenty.

This place really really needs refurbishing!! The tables were also full of empty plates we struggled to find an empty one. The food has really gone down hill which is a shame! I don't go too often but I'd say for nearly a year now the food isn't great, most cold and a big let down. Such a shame

It’s a weatherspoons. Good value, decent food, cheap beer, some are better than other with service. This is better.

Absolutely ridiculous. Lone dinner who leaves the table to use the toilet while eating. Only to return to find their food taken away. When complaints about it are made you are simply told that it's okay, I've not binned it,it's just throw there next to the bin
