Do not order from here and expect all your order not to be in the bag, 2 times I have ordered from here and both have had the most expensive part missing, which rounds up to usually a £5+ burger. When I rang the store to inform them of their mistake, I had a rude employee of the company telling me it's not their problem it's Uber, Uber do not make the order up it's the employees of McDonald's company, I even had it out with employee over the phone questioning him who makes the order in the kitchen and he said McDonald's... gotcha there mate! So I rang Uber and they will not resolve it and McDonald's won't take responsibility for there own muck up, terrible service!!! Even when I have receipts to prove they have made a hash job of the order. Won't be spending my money in McDonald's ever ever again and neither will the people I have told and shown the trouble I have had with this company. This place needs better staff who can read and produce the right orders and who have better customer service experience.

Update Today I recieved an email appologizing for the error and they said They would like to make things right by giving me a £10 voucher on a £10 spend. Its an absolute insult as I lost out on £21. they said it was the delivery companys fault, which is impossible as when i recieved the meal it had not been opened or tampered with. I basically explained this and said to them you just do not care about your customers. Now I have recieved further corrspondence say we have tried to make things right and if I dont want the voucher then so be it and said contact Uberfor a refund. Uber have stated as the meal was not tampered with then it cannot refund it. so .. By doing this to genuine customers they both get away with not paying or responsabilities even though I still think Uber are correct in what they are saying. #IF THE MEAL IS UNTAMPERED how can uber be at fault IF THE MEAL IS UNTAMPERED the missing food could not have been put in the bag therefor its Mcdonalds Fault Jan 2025 I am extremely disappointed with the appalling service I received from McDonald's in Gainsborough regarding a delivery I ordered through Uber Eats. Two burgers were missing from the order, so I called McDonald's to resolve the issue. They told me to contact the Uber Eats driver, claiming it wasn’t their responsibility. When I spoke to the driver, he told me that I needed to bring the entire meal and receipt back to McDonald’s for them to deal with it. When the delivery arrived, the bag was completely sealed and unopened, which made it impossible for the Uber Eats driver to have tampered with it. However, I had to open it myself to check what was inside, and that’s when I discovered the missing burgers. The fault clearly lies with McDonald’s staff, as the items were never packed in the first place. Despite this, the manager at the restaurant refused to accept responsibility and instead tried to shift the blame onto the Uber Eats driver. At 60 years old, I do not like driving at night, but I felt forced to do so because of this issue. I followed the instructions, went out of my way, and drove to the restaurant, only to be met with indifference. The manager refused to help and showed no care or concern for the inconvenience caused. I handed back the food because it was stone cold by the time I arrived. To make matters worse, this entire experience has left me £21+ out of pocket. I also had to spend even more money ordering food from a different restaurant just to ensure my kids got their monthly treat – something we save up for. This left me completely broke for the rest of the week. The stress, inconvenience, and extra costs of driving at night in my car – when I should never have been in this situation to begin with – have been overwhelming. What upset me the most was the complete lack of care or empathy from McDonald’s staff, especially the manager, who showed no interest in helping or resolving the situation. My children were left disappointed, and I was left feeling stressed and upset. I will never return to McDonald’s again, but honestly, I don’t think they will care or even read this complaint. This experience has been utterly disheartening, and McDonald’s needs to take responsibility for mistakes like this instead of shifting blame onto Uber Eats drivers and putting customers through so much unnecessary hassle.

Decent food, gets busy at lunch time when the Gainsborough grammar 6th formers come on weekdays but the quality isn’t bad. However I’ve witness many fights break out here and people getting assaulted in store and police coming. Although this is no direct fault of McDonald’s but it does mean it’s not a safe place and it means that rowdy tonnages tend to loiter here looking for trouble with bikes outside the store, activity seeking attention and finding trouble.

Drive through quite slow, not been to McDonald's in 9 or so months, but is it me or as the burgers like big Mac's ect much smaller sized strunk. Even the chicken select where smaller than the chicken nuggets. well I don't like to give negative feedback but feel after this and my son's order a few months ago missing fries and a burger only noticed after driving a few miles away not very good experiences I must had.

The food is absolutely nothing like the adverts. The food itself is okay, the fries are bland and cold the burgers and drinks are alright. The service isn’t good, it’s takes a long time at both the drive through and counter. There is little to no atmosphere at all and the tables are dirty. I recommend only getting delivery.

I have travelled most the UK and many miles in USA and have never been in such a disorganized shop ever. The crew were milling around, they could have been changing shifts, in it looking at the drive through line they really didn't have enough staff to cope. The manager looked very young, the men's toilets were disgusting. They need help to get them into a functioning group. And I didn't get my drink.

Shocking experience. The system is messed up it goes green to collect it says in English. Yet when I stand there saying it says collect oo no that means we are getting it ready? No that's the grey numbers, preparing, that's what that word means. As I walked out the staff giggling and pointing. Dumb, young underpaid in compassionate fools running the show. And to top it off the food order was wrong. Probly on purpose after i told them the truth of it. horrible experience

Worst McDonalds ever. Staff have absolutely no idea how to deal with customers not even the manager! The only thing they consistently get right, is getting it wrong. Just been in again tonight at about 7:30 pm 22nd Feb 2024 sat down to eat our food it was lovely and quiet when we got there. Then in came some kids on bikes and scooters, shouting and swearing bumping into my chair and generally being unruly. The staff didn't do anything so I asked for a takeaway bag, staff member said " I don't blame you" and we took our food home. 😲

What sort of people are they employing here. I visited at 23.45 16/01/24 after a long journey and with an app order for 2 big macs with extra onion and NO pickles, i took them back to where i was staying and found there was NO onion in either and in one there were 5 slices of pickle and in the other there was 9 pickle slices. The male making them either couldnt read, but then he did make the right burgers, was bored, doesn't want to work here, wanted to go home, or they just wanted to get rid of the left over pickle slices, and knew they were going to get away with it because they were closing and wanted to annoy someone. I know you are thinking, well you can just remove them, but what is the point in being able to customise your burger when the moron making it just ignores it.

Never use you app to order food here and then wait in a bay , it will be a long painful experience . The staff obviously believe it's not in their job remit to bring the food out you order. Food is continually missing regardless of how you order. Order via drive thru - food missing. Order through just eat or Uber eats food missing. Absolutely ridiculous set up with just eat/Uber - if McDonald's messes up and you don't get some of your order, McDonald's wipe their hands and it's not their problem. They can't send you what they left out your order either because McDonald's don't employ the drivers so you don't actually get the service you pay for then have to wait days for a refund. At this point I'm convinced the only reason this McDonald's is ever busy is because it's the only one in town.

This is the first bad review I have ever left but after an absolutely shocking experience i felt the need to. We went through the the drive thru after waiting a few minutes at the window, we received a milky coffee ( I cannot drink milk) then the server looked at us like we were supposed to leave. We were waiting on two breakfast roll meals with no eggs as one of us has an egg allergy. After a couple more minutes we were told to park up. After another 5-10 minutes we still hadn't received any food! I then went in and asked where my food was I got handed a bag that was ready so had obviously been sitting there waiting. We then drove to a petrol garage to eat our food both breakfast rolls come with an egg in even though we asked for no egg in either due to egg allergy. Also we asked for one with no sauce that come with ketchup. We now have a five hour drive ahead of us so we had to buy food from the garage. To be honest the whole experience was shocking for such a simple order.

The burgers 🍔 were the texture of carpet underlay. Dry and tasteless. The bacon non existent and cheese a sticky deposit. Tired and worn furniture and fittings especially the light fittings. All the windows were shot with condensation. Toilets horrible too. We won't ever return !!!
