McDonald's in West Lindsey

McDonald's, shocking again, just a shame they don't tell you about the wait when you make your order. Customer service are more than happy to help, shame the staff aren't the same. Just been again to Gainsborough MacDonald s this time to just get a coffee, wow what a farce ordered one coffee and some how paid for two and it took 15 minutes to arrive. There was around ten car's behind me so did not want to hold them up for a £1.98 refund, will never frequent the place again also just remember that it's fresh food now and not fast food so please be prepared to wait. Nice wording Ronald.

Just visited gainsborough store, we went to the window to collect our food and ask for sauces as you usually do to be told there 10p each unfortunately the colleague before upon ordering failed to tell us this and we only had card which she wouldn't accept she demanded cash only for the sauces. Never in my life have I ever been so fustrated with the service I recieved she point blank refused any sauces. I do believe going forward it should be mentioned upon ordering to avoid disappointment 😞 my meal was ruined.

Love getting free floor dust with my breakfast 😋 bits of dust, white hair and black hair like it's been dropped on the floor and put back in the bag. They also sent the wrong size drinks. Ordered a large hot chocolate and a warm medium arrived.

I rang up to ask for delivery and since I’m young they said that they were gonna pass my number down to the police because I was saying hello and they couldn’t hear me as I thought but they could so they said that they were gonna pass my number down to the police, cause I was saying hello and that I was prank them when all I wanted was my mc crispy

Ordered 6 various drinks in gainsborough store they couldn't even get that right very slow not going to step foot in there again absolutely diabolical service

Had breakfast today. Greeted with a smile & a good morning as we entered. Food delivered to our table fresh & hot & tasty. Place is clean & tidy. Very happy.

It's always really really busy and chaotic. I known the staff are doing their best but it always seems untidy and chaotic

Reason for 2* is because every time I go here I always have to park for at least 20 minutes to get my food when i parked up

Drive thru for breakfast quick and polite

Messed up the order, forgetting an item. Had to go back there to collect it, meaning I was left with food going cold at home. Dealt with the Assistant "Manager", in a very disappointing, arrogant and combative conversation.

Received the correct food, but they sent the wrong drinks order so had to reorder the kids drinks.

Shocking. Very rarely go here however when I do there is always something not on the menu! Poor standard

Awful experience - waited in the drive through queue for a cheeseburger for 47 minutes!!

Food was good however did order a burger to be plan box was marked accordingly but burger came with all the trimmings. Easy enough fix our end but had already arrived hone when discovered this. Staff we encountered were polite and friendly.

Food was standard.. but sloppily put together as expected in mcds.. floor staff walking about were lovely and kind to me and my therapy dog !

Do not ! Do not order from here and expect all your order not to be in the bag, 2 times I have ordered from here and both have had the most expensive part missing, which rounds up to usually a £5+ burger. When I rang the store to inform them of their mistake, I had a rude employee of the company telling me it's not their problem it's Uber, Uber do not make the order up it's the employees of McDonald's company, I even had it out with employee over the phone questioning him who makes the order in the kitchen and he said McDonald's... gotcha there mate! So I rang Uber and they will not resolve it and McDonald's won't take responsibility for there own muck up, terrible service!!! Even when I have receipts to prove they have made a hash job of the order. Won't be spending my money in McDonald's ever ever again and neither will the people I have told and shown the trouble I have had with this company. This place needs better staff who can read and produce the right orders and who have better customer service experience.

Need to change the times when they open till says 2am however 00:05 and they are shut

Update Today I recieved an email appologizing for the error and they said They would like to make things right by giving me a £10 voucher on a £10 spend. Its an absolute insult as I lost out on £21. they said it was the delivery companys fault, which is impossible as when i recieved the meal it had not been opened or tampered with. I basically explained this and said to them you just do not care about your customers. Now I have recieved further corrspondence say we have tried to make things right and if I dont want the voucher then so be it and said contact Uberfor a refund. Uber have stated as the meal was not tampered with then it cannot refund it. so .. By doing this to genuine customers they both get away with not paying or responsabilities even though I still think Uber are correct in what they are saying. #IF THE MEAL IS UNTAMPERED how can uber be at fault IF THE MEAL IS UNTAMPERED the missing food could not have been put in the bag therefor its Mcdonalds Fault Jan 2025 I am extremely disappointed with the appalling service I received from McDonald's in Gainsborough regarding a delivery I ordered through Uber Eats. Two burgers were missing from the order, so I called McDonald's to resolve the issue. They told me to contact the Uber Eats driver, claiming it wasn’t their responsibility. When I spoke to the driver, he told me that I needed to bring the entire meal and receipt back to McDonald’s for them to deal with it. When the delivery arrived, the bag was completely sealed and unopened, which made it impossible for the Uber Eats driver to have tampered with it. However, I had to open it myself to check what was inside, and that’s when I discovered the missing burgers. The fault clearly lies with McDonald’s staff, as the items were never packed in the first place. Despite this, the manager at the restaurant refused to accept responsibility and instead tried to shift the blame onto the Uber Eats driver. At 60 years old, I do not like driving at night, but I felt forced to do so because of this issue. I followed the instructions, went out of my way, and drove to the restaurant, only to be met with indifference. The manager refused to help and showed no care or concern for the inconvenience caused. I handed back the food because it was stone cold by the time I arrived. To make matters worse, this entire experience has left me £21+ out of pocket. I also had to spend even more money ordering food from a different restaurant just to ensure my kids got their monthly treat – something we save up for. This left me completely broke for the rest of the week. The stress, inconvenience, and extra costs of driving at night in my car – when I should never have been in this situation to begin with – have been overwhelming. What upset me the most was the complete lack of care or empathy from McDonald’s staff, especially the manager, who showed no interest in helping or resolving the situation. My children were left disappointed, and I was left feeling stressed and upset. I will never return to McDonald’s again, but honestly, I don’t think they will care or even read this complaint. This experience has been utterly disheartening, and McDonald’s needs to take responsibility for mistakes like this instead of shifting blame onto Uber Eats drivers and putting customers through so much unnecessary hassle.

Super slow. Food was hot, staff seemed nice

Decent food, gets busy at lunch time when the Gainsborough grammar 6th formers come on weekdays but the quality isn’t bad. However I’ve witness many fights break out here and people getting assaulted in store and police coming. Although this is no direct fault of McDonald’s but it does mean it’s not a safe place and it means that rowdy tonnages tend to loiter here looking for trouble with bikes outside the store, activity seeking attention and finding trouble.

One of the better McDonald's is just having to ask for condiments, napkins etc

The staff at this McDonald's are always lovely. The food is as you'd expect at any McDonalds. There has been the odd occasion of receiving an inaccurate order, but nothing more than a minor error 👍

Drive through quite slow, not been to McDonald's in 9 or so months, but is it me or as the burgers like big Mac's ect much smaller sized strunk. Even the chicken select where smaller than the chicken nuggets. well I don't like to give negative feedback but feel after this and my son's order a few months ago missing fries and a burger only noticed after driving a few miles away not very good experiences I must had.

Went to drive through ordered paid got drink and asked to wait in car park waited half an hour had finished drink when food arrived very poor service.

This has to be one of the lazeyest branches of mcdonnalds out there ther food is cold fries and rubbery coustomer service is apauling they should be shut down as its a helth code vilation they always lieing to customers load of trash wast of space

All in all a good maccies, fries were salted well and golden brown, better than the local one to me.

The food is absolutely nothing like the adverts. The food itself is okay, the fries are bland and cold the burgers and drinks are alright. The service isn’t good, it’s takes a long time at both the drive through and counter. There is little to no atmosphere at all and the tables are dirty. I recommend only getting delivery.

Food is tasty, quick but very processed

Good was good as usual but the wait was very long.

I have travelled most the UK and many miles in USA and have never been in such a disorganized shop ever. The crew were milling around, they could have been changing shifts, in it looking at the drive through line they really didn't have enough staff to cope. The manager looked very young, the men's toilets were disgusting. They need help to get them into a functioning group. And I didn't get my drink.

The burger patties are 3-4mm thick? Not value even at 99p.

Shocking experience. The system is messed up it goes green to collect it says in English. Yet when I stand there saying it says collect oo no that means we are getting it ready? No that's the grey numbers, preparing, that's what that word means. As I walked out the staff giggling and pointing. Dumb, young underpaid in compassionate fools running the show. And to top it off the food order was wrong. Probly on purpose after i told them the truth of it. horrible experience

Worst McDonalds ever. Staff have absolutely no idea how to deal with customers not even the manager! The only thing they consistently get right, is getting it wrong. Just been in again tonight at about 7:30 pm 22nd Feb 2024 sat down to eat our food it was lovely and quiet when we got there. Then in came some kids on bikes and scooters, shouting and swearing bumping into my chair and generally being unruly. The staff didn't do anything so I asked for a takeaway bag, staff member said " I don't blame you" and we took our food home. 😲

Always good service here, however, sometimes the ingredients in food is a bit imbalanced, sometimes, for example, you don't get enough lettuce in your burger or wrap, apart from that I'm not disappointed

Made an order, just to realise some bits from my order were missing, is showing on my receipt that I payed for them,just yo realise on my way home,that something is missing,and it's not first time.its ridiculous

What sort of people are they employing here. I visited at 23.45 16/01/24 after a long journey and with an app order for 2 big macs with extra onion and NO pickles, i took them back to where i was staying and found there was NO onion in either and in one there were 5 slices of pickle and in the other there was 9 pickle slices. The male making them either couldnt read, but then he did make the right burgers, was bored, doesn't want to work here, wanted to go home, or they just wanted to get rid of the left over pickle slices, and knew they were going to get away with it because they were closing and wanted to annoy someone. I know you are thinking, well you can just remove them, but what is the point in being able to customise your burger when the moron making it just ignores it.

Bought breakfast yesterday young blonde staff member was quiet shoved drinks in our hands and got another staff member to serve us soon as we sat eating in car park we watched her constantly flirt with a driver while her work colleague did all the work I thought she either homophobic or just damn rude it was disgusting watching putting me and my mate off our breakfast even my straight friend was disgusted !!!!!!!!
