The best restaurants in South Holland East Midlands

Well I’m lost for words. We opted for: 1 Tomato & Basil soup 1 Toastie Cheese & Onion. Soup was very acidic to eat accompanying bap was ok. The toastie .. I’m speechless “Revolting springs to mind” inedible very dry and flaky yuck This was a quick sit down lunch, with a hasty quick escape. Never again!

Go in every day for a coffee on my morning stroll staff always chatty and polite, served with a smile, never had a problem, double choc donuts are delicious

Absolutely lovely food, waiting staff were very good. You have to try the Yellow Submarine shake. Highly recommended. We passed our good feedback onto the manager directly, as its very rare people speak to a manager to give praise.

Had a takeaway from here and it took well over an hour and the food was awful and bland, very poor won't order from here again!

Absolutely disgusting….wrong order delivered, beef chow mein slimey!!! Such a shame it was taken over……absolutely shameful

By far the worst chinese food i have ever eaten , absolute onion filleds muck never eaten such rubbish , why do people go to these places

First visit to Timmy Grill & Desserts and it won’t be our last! Excellent choice on the menu, delicious food, friendly and efficient service. We ordered the Timmy platter and it didn’t disappoint; a great introduction to Turkish food. Served with rice, vulgar wheat, tortilla and fresh salad - delicious! Really worth a visit!

A group of us had booked a cocktail master class and paid for the experience. We turned up at the booked time to find the whole place locked up and in darkness. Apparently the owner had forgotten about us. We ended up going elsewhere in town only to find that at the end of the evening that the ohana owner turned up where we were !!! No wonder the place is up for lease. Clearly can’t organise a ‘piss up in a pub’! Incompetent, unreliable, avoid at all costs.

Popped in Saturday lunchtime Extensive menu. Friendly lady serving. But it took 45 minutes for chicken/ steak dishes to arrive which delayed us Food was nice enough and fresh. But 3 stars is because of delays

Not been for years and was quite shocked by it's worn out look in the bar area hence 3 stars. Toilets spotless. Very busy so clearly very popular in the town. Staff were attentive and polite. My pint of Abbot was cloudy but not enough to mention. I left most of it. Food was quick with plenty on the plate. I chose Gammon 10 oz. A tad chewy but OK. Not sure I'd recommend the place but overall I was happy. Thank you Team Ivy Wall.

Stopped on route home from Yorkshire to Wymondham, Norfolk. My husband who is disabled was made to wait until payment for coffee and a cake was processed before being given a code to get into the toilet!!! There was no nicety with the service absolutely nothing. Have visited before with my mum and kids a few years back, NEVER AGAIN

We have been coming here for over 30 years on our way on holidays from Norfolk. We heard it is closing at the end of the year so we came in for one last breakfast. As usual, the staff were polite and friendly, the service was quick and the food hot and delicious. Excellent value -a good plate full for £7.50. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews on here; I have NEVER had a bad experience. It’s closure is very sad and the end of an era.

Called in to grab a latte (leg) en route Lincs to suffolk & started drinking a few minutes in my journey. Not sure what happened but this was not a latte, it was a strong americano. I couldn’t return as I was on the way to suffolk. I regularly call at McDonald’s (or Greggs) for a latte when I am travelling but this was disappointing. I left the drink as was too strong.

Only one member of staff when we walked in, she was very pleasant, after our food was ready had to wait a while at the till and another member of the staff appeared. The food was fine, typical of Subway. Now the worst part, I think the staff need training on how to use a dustpan and brush as the floor was in a disgusting state, food debris under all the tables, not good.

there was a hair in my mcflurry and it’s black and everyone else in my family has blonde hair and i nearly threw up
