First visit to Timmy Grill & Desserts and it won’t be our last! Excellent choice on the menu, delicious food, friendly and efficient service. We ordered the Timmy platter and it didn’t disappoint; a great introduction to Turkish food. Served with rice, vulgar wheat, tortilla and fresh salad - delicious! Really worth a visit!

Found the restaurant by chance as I didn’t realise it had changed from an Indian restaurant to a Turkish. Service was good ordered drinks and the meals and some warm bread and dips came out which were lovely. The starters were OK, nothing too fancy and pretty plain but tasty. Then the mains came out and the aubergine in my Imam Bayildi was frozen in the middle - not just a bit cold, but lumps of ice where it was still frozen and obviously had only a passing glance at the grill. We got up and left, if food isn’t fresh and is previously frozen and vegetables can’t be cooked properly, I hate to think what the meat and fish is like, not worth the risk. Disappointed as there isn’t a decent Turkish restaurant outside Peterborough or Stamford.
