Ordered a takeaway. Food was delivered quickly. It was hot and there was plenty of it. Very nice.

The staff here are friendly and welcoming. There's a pool table by the bar and a dining area on the opposite side and a small outside seating area at the rear. It all looks quite homely. We have visited this place on a number of occasions and there's always a good atmosphere. We had a delicious Sunday roast here today, all nicely cooked and very tasty. We also visit sometimes on a Wednesday evening when they have certain events, such as a disco or quiz. A finger buffet is sometimes included and this is always a tasty treat. Can't rate this place highly enough. It's a good, friendly town centre pub and has become something of a local for us as we don't live too far away. Highly recommended. 5*

The food is really nice and it makes me so full I highly recommend kanton and waiting time isn’t that long
