Lovingly prepared food at a reasonable price for generous portions - recommended.

Used to love this place but now stale, everything tastes mouldy and unfresh. Will never return after this last meal. Has steadily gone down hill. Such a shame.

Great little take away. Good food.

This place is now being run by different people to the last time we tried it, over 2 years ago, when it really wasn't very nice. Menu now looks very appealing, with a few unusual/special dishes & prices are mainly OK, though the specials are quite expenseve. It was quite busy with both telephone & walk-in orders, which is usually a good sign, though unfortunately not the case tonight! The food was disappointing. S&S Pork Balls, were passable, with a nice amount of batter, Pork Curry, again not bad, but nothing special, Sesame Prawn Toast, lovely & crispy, but could hardly see or taste any prawn, Spare Ribs (choice of sauces) were very dry & over cooked, & Teriyaki Chicken, coating was overcooked - it was dark brown rather than golden - with no flavour whatsoever, I expected it to come with a Teriyaki sauce but it didn't so it was just basically a plain breaded chicken fillet cut into strips served on limp lettuce (left that in the tub), with a few chunks of cucumber. In addition to the mediocre taste, everything was almost cold by the time we arrived home, & although we travelled from Spalding we regularly fetch a Chinese from as far as Peterborough, and they are always still hot when we get home. Maybe just a bad night for them, but nothing was outstanding enough to make us want to return. (Also don't think they should have a young child wandering about in a busy working kitchen)!

Always good food. Proper, honest take away. Super quick. Happy to adapt any dish. How do they get so much rice in one dish!

That's it, I'm done with the place. Food isn't that great anyway but for the 3rd time in the last 4 visits they got the order wrong.

Good food, great value, but seriously, not taking cards for payment?? Who uses cash these days? Will not use again simply because of this. Haven't used cash at all in about 10 years, not going to have the hassle of doing so just for a take away!

I find the food to be quality, salt and pepper ribs are always good. Katsu curry the chicken is nicely cooked.

We usually drive to Spalding for chinese as this was our old local takeway, We gave our local chinese a try and were shocked to be served by child (9/10 years old) who wasn't coping with the big queue and taking phone orders. Another small child (approx 3/4 yrs) was left unattended playing around the front counter. The bbq sauce on the ribs tasted of ketchup and vinegar and wasn't eaten, however, the rice, noodles and sweet and sour dishes were tasty and not greasy. The shared started was very generous and delicious. They only take cash and we waited 25 minutes for the food. Will use again but not a first choice.

Good value meals. Special chow meins, rice, spring rolls. All very nice. Much better than some of the recent reviews we saw.

Well all I can say is. People that go to this Chinese take away haven't been too many noodles slimy and wet cold most of what we had gave us two wrong dish's and to be honest it feels like a sweat shop somewhere in China kids taking orders and serving behind the counter not very professional and cash only. Hmmmm. Wonder how much of that cash gets declared to HMRC avoid

Food order taken by a child, on collection order was wrong. Got home and realised, so returned the order. Order was still incorrect - sweet and sour chicken balls - no sweet and sour! and ribs were disgusting as had tried to be cooked too quickly. Such a shame, this used to be a really good Chinese. £20 wasted - Come back Jo, will not be revisiting. Crowland really needs a good takeaway.

AVOID AVOID absolutely disgusting shameful to be honest would give no stars if I could!! These people wouldn't know what Chinese cuisine is, if it hit them in face! I only eat at top quality restaurants and this was appalling! Chow mein was mushy, white, watery noodles with zero soy sauce or flavour - disgusting! Ribs was overcooked, looked boiled and so dry. Chicken balls had about half a pound of batter on the outside, salt and pepper chips were basically plain chips with a few onions in the tub! Rice is like Morrison's microwavable basmati rice and the sweet and sour sauce was like a pot of jelly! The only thing that was edible was the prawn crackers. We have rang them up to complain and see if they could resolve this without any review being made because it's the last thing I wanted to do as I know this effects reputation highly...basically got told to go away and this is how they cook there food - they didn't want to know took my money and that was that. Anyone in crowland want a decent Chinese I would highly recommend pearl city in Eye high street, they also deliver and there is no comparison on the quality of food you buy. Sorry to be a Karen but this place is awful. See photos attached if u think otherwise!! I wouldn't feed this to my dog.

Always do a lovely take away and good value for money. They do not skimp on the portions. Highly reccommeded.

Always loved this place but to tonight was a massive let down tbh... we ordered 1/3 of duck and it was disgusting tiny and burnt...

Food was yummy definitely eat from there again :) only downside is having to pick our order up :(

Great Chinese and friendly family staff. Can get busy at peak times so please be aware and they will get your order out when they can. Little gem for Crowland.

Ordered a meal to collect on New Year's eve, big mistake. Having had my order taken on the phone by what sounded like a 9 year old girl?? I turned up at the time they suggested, 40 minutes after ordering, to find 15-20 people waiting outside (in good spirits) but all a little miffed at how long everything was taking. Inside the takeaway was a queue/huddle of perhaps 7 or 8 other customers all trying to find out where their food was. This was no easy task as the (seemingly) 9 year old girl was indeed manning the phones and constantly taking orders even though they couldn't cope with the orders they already had!? Her slightly older Sister (I assume) was doing a not very good job of holding fort at the counter with the customers finding out themselves which food actually belonged to which customer! 1 young lady had been waiting in there for over 2 hours if the stories were to be believed. I asked about my order which took an age to find in amongst dozens and dozens of paper orders, only to be told she had no idea when it would be even STARTED (already half an hour late) and neither did the kitchen as they had so many others to handle!! So like a couple of other customers I saw I decided to cancel my order and go to Eastern Spice instead as I feared I could be there potentially for hours! Shockingly bad organisation, no communication, with their kids facing the paying public ALL of whom would be disappointed at least if not completely hacked off. Never again. A very disappointed Crowland resident.

The food is very good, but sadly they get the orders wrong sent us different items from what we had ordered last week but we liked what we got but tonight we ordered a substantial amount and despite repeating order 3 times they missed an item off, when I phoned to tell them they said come and collect missing item but we will charge you not good customer service, we will not used them again

Another update. The best yet ... heaven. The best hot and sour soup ever and the rest was scruptious 😍 Update .... I went in yet again. They have introduced lovely boxes for the mixed starter which is in itself a meal. It has the best crispy seaweed ever. Wandering Dragon was scrumptious and I am too full😉 Very yummy . New owners and still yummy

I can honestly say this is one of the best takeaways. the food is very good and there are lots of different dishes to try a very vast amount of different combinations of foods to please most tastes The staff are friendly and have knowledge of the food they sellthey are helpful and will advice on the dishes they sell there is plenty of parking. The only downside as this is very popular you may have to wait a while on walk ins however a telephone call to order in advance makes it a little quicker

Been here twice. Started using them over my other local Chinese in thorney.. best rice I've ever had from a Chinese. Just great food and can't fault them!

Lucky to get one star, food absolutely shocking , everything had a fishy taste , but no fish dishes ordered a bit concerning as one of our party has an allergy, binned the lot . I guess the customer service will reply ?

We got a takeaway here when staying in Crowland recently. Generous portions & great value for money. A good menu, including for me as a vegetarian. Free prawn crackers, too. Only 10 mins from ordering to being ready for collection.

Excellent service. The chef is very accommodating and will happily turn any sauce into a tasty vegan dish. Thank you!
