Food overall way too salty. King prawn balls were huge amount of batter with tiny pawns. Sweet and sour sauce slightly too watery. Overall bad experience won't be going back.

Had food poisoning from this place. Never going back. They really need some hygiene and food safety checks on there. Horrible. Reported to authorities and kept food for checks of what pathogens were in the food

Food is good but delivery is shocking after waiting just under 2 and a half hours I gave up and ordered from somewhere else totally disappointed so will go elsewhere as this wasn’t the first time so will never use then again

Ordered our meal at 5,45 I was told it would take an hour that time went so I called at 7 was told it left the kitchen so I thought must be lost I was told they had people at the counter but I said ok but I don’t want £27 worth of cold food I waited it arrived at 7.30 almost an hour late cold. The food was very salty I’m very disappointed as this was once the best Chinese in spalding

The food is delicious, but the service is appalling. Ordered online with a 30-45 minute delivery time, but an hour and 15 mins later still no food. When I spoke to the receptionist, she passed me over to the driver and it transpired the driver has delivered it to the wrong house and then hung up the phone. When I went to collect the food the receptionist prioritised phone orders over speaking with me. Such a shame because the food is always so good.

Receptionist was very rude claimed I ordered something else. Food took ages and was very cold when it arrived. Think twice at ordering from here.

Brought the wrong order when phoned up wasn’t interested. Food came cold and didn’t tempt to get the prawns. Very disappointed with the service or the whole!

The food is excellent Chinese food. The best Chinese in spalding. Been going there for many years. Food all ways very hot on delivery.very friendly people . Good size portions. Very pleased great food.

Not happy at all forgot our chips.meams 9ur dinner went cold phones up and gd not do nothing about it put sent chips and dinner was cold.waiting foe chips we use all the time thinking we will change and use another one

I am sure they used overdue food to cook for you. The taste is so weird, and I felt really sick after having their dishes. The female Chinese counter is so rude. When I asked for the refund, they don’t refund me for the missing food and the Chinese counter cut my phone call when I insisted for the Refund. Don’t waste your money on this hopeless Chinese takeaway. I will never come back.

The Delivery was late for too long. The very rude receptionist just hung up when I asked for my order!! The food was cold and dry. It was a waste of money, everything end up in the bin.

The taste of the food is horrible And abnormal. I have to throw the all the food into the bin. I have never tasted anything that bad like this. When I called to them, The female receptionist seems not knowing English, She was very impolite and impatient. It was very hard to communicate and finally she cut up the phone call. I will never pay money for their food ever again.

It’s the worst. Food safety is absolutely zero. My family members got vomiting and diarrhea after the food from them last night. Special fried rice tasted fishy. Chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce tasted unusual. A metal wire was found in another dish. It’s a horrible place to get Chinese food. Save your money for your own good and health.

Love the food only downside is cash only but great food fast service.

First time using this Chinese Takeaway, so glad we did, the best one we have had. The food was delivered quickly, nice and hot and best of all very tasty. We will definitely be using them again. Thank you.

On Saturday we had an order and it was the absolute worst Chinese iv ever had the bbq spare ribs were so salty it made me ill the chow main was just covered in grease we will not be returning

Although it was busy the receptionist was friendly, and my order was quite quick as well. Was nice and hot and tasty.

Quick and tasty ,it was a nice takeaway, I would give you 5 stars, but sometimes can be very disappointing ,keep your game up and I'll give you 5 stars people.

Recommended by a friend and will definitely return without hesitation. Great tasting food and very fast service from point of ordering. Generous portion size and competitively priced.

Shop was a little dated in deco and dirty needs bit of attention, however server was polite as was elder, a d food hit the spot just right would recommend this Chinese... No website??

I really wish I had ignored the reviews for this takeaway. The only thing it takes away is your money for greasy, tasteless food that they can't even deliver on time. I know my house can be tricky to find which is why I gave instructions on how to find me when I called for a delivery. 30 mins after the time slot and after a phone call to and from them my food arrives. As they will only take cash (surprise surprise) I insist that I will check the food is hot before paying and to their credit it was hot. I duly paid but wish I hadn't. The fact it was hot was the only thing in this foods favour. The main food ie, chow mein and garlic mushrooms where both very greasy and the mushrooms had a very odd sweet flavour to the point they went in the bin. The chips were soggy at best and the curry sauce had a film of grease on the surface. On the plus side, the free prawn crackers were ok. I would advise anyone to check the quality of the food before handing over any cash, especially on a delivery as it will be difficult to get a refund once the food is left with you.

Never used this takeaway before as didn't know about it and usually stick to what we know but our friends ordered food from here and it was the best I've had in a very long time. We will definitely have another meal from here.

I have tried this place a few times and have always had good quality food with nice polite staff and good delivery times.

We have order a takeaway from here a couple of times it's nice that they deliver and we don't have to go out to fetch it. Great menu and the food seems to be very good

Great service and hot fresh food . Allow an hour to get it delivered and cash only but it's worth it . 🙂

we always have the same order odd occasion will try something new always comes within an hour and foods always warm/hot never any faults had these for last 6 years tried the rest but this place is by far one of the best

Food is normally pretty good from here, but the curry sauce does vary from time to time, but overall we like it, delivery service is fairly quick and if they are busy they do let you know. Favourite dish is the Singapore style noodles..

Terrible food and terrible servce by the delivery driver not a nice person the food was wrong 3 times ask for NO prawns and all the dishes had prawns in

we have used the silk rose for a couple of years now,never had any complaints.asked last time if they could make the chilli beef more spicy,no problem was the reply and it was on of the best we have had

Fantastic takeaway and the best in spalding . They do deliver but can take up to 2 hours in busy times and arrive cold so we phone an order in then collect about 25 mins later . Always hot and fresh this way .
