San San Chinese Takeaway in South Holland

By far the worst chinese food i have ever eaten , absolute onion filleds muck never eaten such rubbish , why do people go to these places

100% the worst chinese I've ever eaten . Was told 80 minutes wait due to it being busy, i can only imagine they were lying as I've tried the food and I'd be astonished if customers came back , the (food) we'll go with that as that's what they gave me as food wasn't hot it was just about warm , attempted to eat the stuff and instantly ended up with what's now known as san san belly , must have been a few minutes before liquid was emptying from rear end . Used this takeaway a few times, on all occasions ordered meat pancake rolls. I can assure you that there was the equivalent of hardly under a teaspoon of Chinese roast pork. When you get them they are huge but the pancake roll contents is 99.9 percent beansprouts. As I said the quality and taste is really good but I am a Chinese food lover and all of the pancake rolls I have had before contain chicken, prawns, roast pork to which on all previous visits all of the pancake rolls held the same amount of meat contents. Also I do like chicken fried rice and have ordered that also on every visit and they are large containers to which the contents is made up of 99.9 percent rice and the rest chicken. Always the rice is cooked to perfection hence no real chicken content. They have also put up their prices considerably but the meat content stays the same. My wife tried to talk to the owners regarding this and what do you believe they suddenly have a real problem trying to converse or understand English-. So all I can say to end this review is if you are vegetarian this certainly is the place to go to. I just feel very upset when you are paying good money for food which is not upto expectations if you are a meat lover.

Visiting the area we are perhaps used to a different style of Chinese food but after the disappointment of trying the other takeaway in Long Sutton we gave this a go. Looked disgusting when opened.... tasted terrible and 3 of us had bad stomachs the next day. Gave it 1 star as zero not allowed.

This is a brilliant little takeaway. We use it several times a month. The food is always good quality and the prices are very reasonable. Yes, you do have to wait sometimes for a long time for the order to be cooked, especially on Saturday nights,but the popularity of this Chinese takeaway speaks volumes for the service and quality of food. Enjoy!

We were staying local and used Trip adviser to rate this takeaway, true to form they were spot on, nice Chinese food, hot, fair potions good price too.

Excellent takeaway as recommended by the nearby travelodge. For sure would go again. Only downside was listening to the racist bigotry of seemingly local brexit supporters waiting for their food. What did foreigners ever do for Long Sutton then? Provide a great take away for a start Mister :)

Just had a takeaway and it was lovely. Telephoned order in but still had to wait. Really busy which speaks for itself

We usually get a takeaway from this place and it never disappoints however we got a meal from them today 1st may and when we picked it up we were told it is under new management, the prices had gone up. The food was dry, overcooked, bland and the rice was stodgy where it had been overcooked and swimming in a soup. We will never be eating from this place anymore we actually felt ill after eating it. Please do not waste your money.
