If you love dry and tasteless food then this is the place for you otherwise avoid!! We visited for lunch, I had burger, hubby had Texan burger, they were just awful. Wished we’d read the reviews before we visited as definitely wouldn’t have bothered and will definitely never go again.

We went with 2 x under 4s, one in a buggy. The welcome was friendly, but no offer of help with high chairs/ moving chairs etc in the cramped environment. We ordered 2 tomato pasta dishes from the children’s menu which clearly stated that all the meals in that section came with fries and sweet corn. When the food was delivered I queried the non arrival of fries and corn and was advised that there was an exception for the pasta dish. The waiter knew because it had caused a problem the day before (Monday). He offered to get the manager who duly arrived and stated that they were new menus and that there was a printing error. No offer of compensation, fries etc or apology. A simple sticker on the menu or warning when ordering would have solved the problem. Nil points for customer service. I noticed they were collecting the junior menus up as we were leaving - Co-incidence? The pasta actually tasted lovely so 2 stars for that. Will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Don't believe the menu descriptions in fact just don't go. Unless of course, disappointment is your thing. Pancakes was extremely disappointing nothing as described

Awful, avoid and do t waste your money. My friend ordered a burger with bacon with upgraded sweet potato fries for £13.50. The burger was cardboardy and dry and the bacon very fatty. When it arrived it had plain fries so the waitress brought a separate bowl of them. My other friend ordered a chicken burger which was passable. I ordered a hotdog with sautéed onions. When it arrived the waitress announced they had run out of onions and when I tasted the dog it was lukewarm and mushy so I called the waitress over and sent it back, she took it away and didn’t come back to see what I wanted instead so I was left there like a lemon while everyone else ate. The manager finally came over and I asked for a refund which he did do for me. The place itself was in need of a deep clean and none of the food was worth the price charged. Overall we were very disappointed, my advice would be to save your money and go to subway or mcd’s instead.

My husband and me on Sunday had coffees in springys American diner .Springfield's outlet Spalding .staff were very friendly and helpful .we have both visited a few times. .and have had good in there which .has always be very good as well ..

We visited here for lunch whilst shopping in the nearby outlet. We were very underwhelmed. The seats are very on top of one another so you were very close to the tables all around you. We decided what we were having g and I went and ordered. I specifically asked when ordering for no bun on the burger as my son in law isn’t able to eat it. The food got sent to the wrong table first. Then when it did arrive it was in a bun, after the 3rd attempt it arrived at which point me and my son had almost finished our meals. Food was ok nothing fancy and portion sizes were quite small. We wished we had just gone the McDonald’s down the road. At least we could have all eaten at the same time and it would have been half the price.

We ordered two Texan burgers. The menu description sounded amazing. A burger patty with monterrey Jack cheese and bacon plus all the fixings...yum. Unfortunately what came was a cardboard "coaster" burger with cheap and salty bacon, cheddar cheese all served in a regular bap. Honestly, if I was a Texan I would be furious about the complete misrepresentation.

What an experience. I went with family 5 adults 2 children. Half of our order we had to eat with our hands because apparently they didn't have knifes and folks available. Male staff member if you read this just quit you are clearly unhappy you couldn't even talk just threw our order on the table leaving hot plates next to a 1yr old he obviously wasn't eating Mac & cheese was he! Shocking customer service food was bang average

First thing waitress said won’t get food all together as seven of us after what we got served up wish we had just said don’t bother and went frankie bennys . Stale rolls dry chicken and boiled onions in hot dogs never again !!

Whilst visiting Adventure Land, we popped into Springys for lunch. It was chaos!! Dirty, really slow service (took 10 minutes for 2 canned drinks to get to our table) just pure chaos!! All the staff were still of school age, apart from the chefs and a lady front of house. When we eventually did get our food, it was freezing cold, not even lukewarm. I was watching food being put on the pass by the chefs and some stuff was sat there for literally minutes on end so there's no wonder everything was cold. The lady, presumably the manager came over and asked if everything was OK, so I told her about everything being cold - she offered us sandwiches instead but I politely declined as we just wanted to get out of there. Granted it was fairly busy but I do feel the youngsters working have a heavy workload to cope with. Based on this experience, I'd rather grab a MCDonalds next time. Won't be rushing back.

Visited a month ago, as I travel between towns to make reviews on local cafes and restaurants, and must say that this place is by far one of the worst managed places I have been. And by that, I do not mean that the staff there have any faults. If anything, the staff there are doing a tremendous job, and by staff I mean all young teenagers, despite being left to it by an older woman I am assuming is the manager. On entry, I was greeted by a charming young boy who’s customer service was impeccable, and was served by a lovely young girl. However, during my visit the older woman came down to the main diner and was very rude to her staff, and it was made so obvious that the young workers were not surprised by her attitude. Where usually a manager would help out with their staff, it seemed she just came down to have a go at them, then return upstairs. She was also rude to some customers. I would not give any criticism to the young workers, the wait for food was a little long and the food not the best quality, but if under better management I am sure the service would be a lot better. That being said, I am merely rating the management of the diner 1 star, and must say I feel awful for the young workers there.

Food was OK. Nicely cooked and filling. Not great but not terrible either. Staff friendly enough and very covid aware.

Highly recommended. Springys was the first restaurant my children and myself have been to in over a year. I had high anxiety going in but that soon changed as every was very welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and a good price too. Definitely going back for the pancakes next time.

Came today with my family ordered as directed to. They brought my husband a sundea which was ment to be a milkshake and totally forgot my potato skins which by the time they came my family had finished eating and they were burnt and Tiny not worth £4.95 at all. My children have allergies and we wanted to ask a question to which we were told to ask at the counter🙄. Every staff member we saw was definitely in their teens and it was obviously their summer jobs no one had a clue what was going on will not be returning absolute shambles

Very polite man on entrance. Our only complaint would be that it didn’t say the cheese and mushroom pancakes had maple syrup on them - wasn’t in menu! Rest of food was fine and de caffeinated coffee no problem

I came here with my daughter yesterday, I ordered myself a vanilla milkshake and she had a hotdog meal. My daughters chips were undercooked, the corn on the cob which isn’t difficult to cook was chewy, and undercooked. My milkshake was warm and not worth £4.50! personally I wouldn’t visit again, the older manager was extremely rude, I witnessed her having ago at members of young staff, her attitude was awful I felt so bad for the staff members, I then witnessed her talking about customers and being rude towards them!! she shouldn’t be working in customer service whereas the younger staff were lovely, unfortunately can’t remember the young ladies name & the younger manager was lovely as well, she couldn’t offer us a refund but offered my daughter an ice cream which made me happy, my daughter had a smile on her face after that, think the hot foot needs improvement such a shame!

I visited here with my partner and 3 children. I was greeted at the door by Kian who was very polite and well mannered and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was okay but the service took a long time, would visit again due to the amazing customer service received.

I’m not one for posting reviews but after today’s visit I felt urged to. I understand COVID restrictions may make things a little tough but this shouldn’t excuse any of the following!We were asked to write down our order when we were ready and go up to the counter to place our order. It was almost like we were invisible, not one member of staff acknowledged us for at least 3 or 4 minutes.Once ordered we waited for our food to arrive which 1 of the meals was incorrect, so we sent that back! No apologies were made and amazingly came back within a couple of minutes ( so it must have been already cooked and probably standing on the side) Eating our food one of us found a hair in the between the lettuce in the burger! The bread was dry, the temperature was warm and overall very bland.Way, way, way over priced for the quality of the food and overall service! Doesn’t matter where you are, retail outlet or discovery land it just doesn’t justify the price especially when the food and service is poor.I would never eat there again but would hope that a review would do something to help them improve.Overall unsatisfactory.

Came in with my sister and 2 kids was pleasantly surprised with how much there is to do! Climbing wall only £5 which my nethew loved even thought struggled a little but but Robbie was very helpful to get him to the top.After what felt like hours on the sky net decided to get some food in the diner I had the bacon and cheese burger food came out very hot and fresh big thanks to lee who was very patient with me while ordering he was very polite and friendly, overall 10/10 would love to more if I lived local! Thanks

Ordered food and they didn’t bring one meal out, asked the waitress 3 times who said it was coming to be then told they didn’t do sausage and chips?? The manager (Lee) came out and was as useful as a wet paper bag! Shocking service and I’ll never buy food from here again.

Good afternoon,Myself and my husband decided to take our 3 daughters to Springfields Adventureland and they thoroughly enjoyed the day! We were first greeted by a lovely lady at the entrance, who made us feel extremely welcome, which is always a good start! The children then went off and played in the sand pit while we went to grab some drinks, we were served by a lovely young lady who was exceptionally polite and enthusiastic. It was made aware to us that the diner has a limited menu however the young girl at the window made sure we got what we wanted and went above and beyond for us all. (Even by laughing and joking with my girls) would definitely recommend visiting! We have had the best day, made some amazing memories and will definitely becoming back soon !!! Thank you to everyone who works at the Adventureland and Restaurant, you made our day so amazing!

We Went here for a nice breakfast, and we couldn't be more disappointed. Their menu promises great things what came out after waiting 20mins was the most cheapest of ingredients sausages crap, bacon very salty and overcooked all fried in the same pan eggs overcooked mushrooms microwaved. No excuses only six customers in, not worth the money(it was expensive) No refund offered when told. DON'T BOTHER....

My friends and I had a lovely lunch here after a bit of shopping.. great food and great service .. The Maryland chicken was amazing and my friends enjoyed a Mac n cheese and a chilli respectively .. the banana splits were awesome too .. Thanks Kian ( who was very proud of his creations )

We’d read several good reviews and decided to try lunch here instead of the nearby Frankie and Bennies (where we knew what we’d be getting).I’ll start by saying the staff were lovely, they were helpful and polite. One waitress dealt with a difficult customer very well. They were definitely a redeeming factor at the restaurant.We ordered the buffalo chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, the ‘big dog’ and the southern fried chicken burger; washed down with a vanilla shake and coke float.I’ll start by saying that the shake and coke float were delightful, and not too overpriced either. The shake was thick, cold and smooth; the float was made with Pepsi Max (which I prefer any way) and had ice cream reaching over the top of the glass - delicious.The chicken wings were.. average. The super hot buffalo sauce was tasty and spicy, a good accompaniment to mask the mediocre taste of the wings. They had a strange rubbery texture, usually an indication that they’ve been precooked and frozen (which I’d normally expect, but the prices indicated a more premium quality).The mozzarella sticks were as expected, the same you’d find at most restaurants.As hotdogs go, the ‘big dog’ wasn’t awful, it just wasn’t particularly special. Your average boiled hotdog, which despite not being offered, was served with onions. The bun was very dry and the bottle of ketchup on the table was so clogged up, that neither of us could get any out!The chicken burger was confusing, it was crispy on the edges and rubbery in the middle. It tasted nice, but the bun was too dry. The fries were a mix of good and bad, some were crispy and tasty, but some were undercooked and tasted bad.If I’d received this food at a burger van in an A-road lay-by, I’d be satisfied because I know I’d have paid about £15-20 for it; but at nearly £40 I was not satisfied at all.On top of that, the seats, benches and table were sticky - not making our meal pleasant.

The only saving grace for this place is their staff; all were welcoming and apologetic. That said, if you’re looking for edible food I’d certainly recommend eating elsewhere. My friend and I both ordered burgers: mine was sent back due to being burnt on the outside and undercooked in the middle. My friends was, to quote her, ‘just edible’ but with a stale bun. I was offered a replacement, however by this point I had watched the chef reuse dirty gloves several times - sticking hand sanitizer on them instead of changing them and another member of staff who was serving us quite literally has black fingernails. Having a compromised immune system I decided I’d rather not take the risk. I’ll be very interested to see what their next hygiene rating reveals based on what we saw today. As I said, staff were lovely and happily offered to replace my meal and also kindly offered me some cake on the house, but the quality of food and general cleanliness really let it down. Won’t be returning.

The very expensive burger was a tasteless solid slab of pretend meat.. I also think it was not even freshly cooked.microwaved or defrosted rubbish..it tasted awful..for the price of £11.50 for a bacon cheeseburger and fries I expected a real full meat burger..this was definitely not..and to be honest you couldn't even taste a resemblance of beef anywhere in it? It may have weighed the weight but clearly filled with who knows what. I feel totally ripped off!

Way over priced for what it is and quality, loaded fries with cheese were £5 and it wasn't even loaded with cheese, it was cheese sauce with chilli in it, brought for my kids but they wudnt even eat it as they didn't like them

Clean and tidy not busy on inside and tables well spread out. No track and trace in place.Had the chilli dog sadly this was served luke warm , asked if it was meant to be cold and the waitress took away . Manager came back say chef has checked temperature and its over 60c and cheese had made feel colder than it is ! This is not the correct temperature to be serving food at!They replaced my whole meal and was served hot and chilli tasted very nice . My daughter had hot dog was also cold but didn't want to say anything,But my 4 year old had the child portion burger good size nice and hot and my other daughter had burger and again tasted good and nice and hot .The place is over priced for what you get. Had an after thought once home that no record was taken who visited the restaurant, so track and trace would not work.

After spending £50 on lunch, I expected things to be pretty dam good. Sadly the service was shocking, and my time was spent chasing up various parts of our order that did not arrive. The food was ok, but certainly not worth the inflated prices. Eventually we got everything but I won’t be eating there again with the poor service, especially not when there are so many other places to choose from that won’t fail on the basics.

Took our Grandson for a visit to the play area behind Springys, he absolutely loved it - finished our visit with some fantastic food in Soringys Restaurant, really clean, staff were brilliant and food was amazingAll in all a great day had by all Will be going back again very soon

My daughter and myself have just had a terrible meal here, arrived and seated. Ordered food surprised when our chicken burgers and fries arrived 5 minutes later, ordered cheese on chips, when queried it was on the burger, then brought me a bowl of cheese which I asked to be heated up. Luke warm pre cooked chicken and cold fries, not what I was expecting for £9.50 each. This restaurant is not taking part in the government eat out scheme even though it is registered as being part of it. So if you go to support a business as is the aim of the scheme you will be disappointed. Awful food

Do not eat here! They are still NOT honouring the Gov eat out to help out scheme and are charging full price. The staff simply said my wasn’t eligible (which it was) We came in for milkshakes only to be told the machine wasn’t working! £12 later and we’ve had 2 soft drinks a hot chocolate and some disgusting nachos which we left for the sake of our health! Every surface was sticky! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!

Visited today as a treat for the kids added bonus they are registered on the .GOV website on the eat put to help out scheme for August Was met at the door by a very polite and well mannered young man (should of got his name) who showed us to our table and explained the process they have done to clean the table due to covid.Menu given food ordered the bill came to £60+(3A+3C) asked why I had been charged full price (stupidly on my part after paying) as you are registered on the .GOV website as taking part in the eat out scheme to be meet by the same look a deer has caught in the headlights the young girl had no idea what i was talking about so I politely asked to see the manager (jennifer) who promptly arrived so again explained your registered on the .GOV website for the scheme to be very bluntly told were not geared up it this week.But your on the site as being registered maybe you should put a sign up stating that fact so I turned round to talk to the rest of the grown ups on the table what do you want to do to then turn round the manager had walked off.The thing is several other tables heard this conversation about the eat out scheme and it turns out that's why they were there but low and behold they walked out.In all the restaurants staff were great its just a shame their manager has no customer service skills what so ever.So then the food arrived order jalapeño poppers (clearly on the receipt) mozzarella sticks turned up this was quickly rectified my 2 eldest ordered mac and cheese with bacon from the adult menu (I would hate to see the childs size) as this was the smallest adult portion I had ever seen and @£8.95 + £1.50 for bacon not the cheapest on the menu.My advice don't bother we sure won't again

All in all pretty poor. 3 of us ate and it was over £65. A big sign says to wait outside to be served, but the door was closed and nobody was there. I opened the door and the waitress said I had to go in and order. When she said this, 3 other couples who were also waiting outside jumped up to order, as they hadn’t been told to go in. Makes no sense. Waitress couldn’t remember 3 drinks and had to be asked to get the third one. Then a salad with cheese came, with no cheese. Had to go back and get it added. Then dessert was forgotten. We had to ask for cutlery.Food was ok, but cheap and cheerful quality, which wasn’t reflected in the price!!!

The food was horrendous. Would not recommend to ANYONE! Ordered a burger and had to send it back because it was burnt and then received another burnt one. The prices were also very high Considering we didn’t get any cutlery. If I could give it a 0 I would. Ruined my day now, thanks.

Staff friendly kind and attentive It is shame that food was really terrible chip and nasty chips pie was raw and it looks like it came out of packet veggie burger also chip and nasty We did not expect a lot but definitely more for the price We will definitely not go back there Shame for such a nice looking place

Ignore the bad reviews on here as this is a brilliant restaurant. We ate here today and ordered the fried chicken burger, Maryland Chicken and the Texan Burger, the food was well presented, plentiful and tasted great. The staff in here are so friendly and service came with a smile. The restaurant is lovely and clean with lots of toilet facilities and they were spotless. We will definitely be back as the menu offers so much choice.

Staff were very good at their assigned roles however never deviated - when ordering, the girl doing drinks had no orders to process but did not take a food order from the people waiting in the queue. Mains came pretty quick and were ok. Mac and cheese was good although salad was a bit basic. Maryland chicken was also ok expect the corn on the cob was burnt. Nothing amazing but not awful. Probably slightly over expensive. The problem came when we ordered dessert. Not only did we wait 35 mins for it to arrive (!) when we did it was pretty poor for the price paid, especially the waffles. Over £4 for a two small packet waffles with mini marshmallows and some sauce seems a lot to me. The pancakes were better but at £2 to add a scoop of ice cream and squirty cream they cost a total of £7.25! The person serving me did warn that there might be a wait on dessert, in the half empty restaurant, but only after I had paid for the puddings. Restaurant wasn’t very clean either. Food all over the floor as waitresses just pushed it off of tables when wiping them. Fresh cutlery was also placed directly on the chairs when the waitress was cleaning and relaying a table meaning the cutlery was on the ‘not very clean’ chairs and had leftover food from the table pushed onto them. This is a family restaurant so we expected children however due to the size, shape and low ceilings of the restaurant, it was pretty noisy in there! Overall, generally disappointing but not totally horrific, definitely a lot of room for improvement. Wouldn’t recommend.

We weren’t sure whether to eat here having seen some bad reviews but decided to try it. It was really good, food was very yummy and absolutely nothing to complain about.

Firstly we asked specifically for tomatoes not to be on the burger as it is a dietary requirement. Secondly, we asked a waitress for assistance and she made eye contact and ignored us completely which is extremely rude. I felt that some of the more junior staff were almost not allowed to take orders or lacked training. Although we got the food fast and efficiently as I sat and observed I saw a lot of potential for the restaurant to be successful, however this will only be achieved with sufficient training of all staff. Everyone should be able to do all jobs therefore it creates a smoother service for the customers.

A previous review was spot on, they're not new at this anymore but nothing has changed, strongly suggesting the poor value for money is management policy. An "all American hot dog" for £8.50 is a low end quality frankfurter (you know the kind - don't we all...) in a tasteless bun (obviously of the kind that arrives from the catering supplier by the thousand with a very long use by date, yes we all know that kind too) with a side of fries, not even a salad garnish.The full "classic American pancake" breakfast is a pile of 6 thawed pancakes with 2 very modest rashers of bacon and one! fried egg for £7.95. All of this no doubt does the profit margins no harm but hopefully continued poor reviews will keep customers away. If that's your intention management, then well done! Avoid.

On a family visit from Scotland we usually visit the shopping centre, gardens and Springy's. However on this occasion not such a good experience. Out of our party of 6, 3 people ordered the large stack of pancakes (6), two with bacon, eggs and syrup and one with blueberries & cream. Two of us wanted the egg & bacon sandwich and there was a kids meal. First of all they had run out of bacon so, after much discussion, we compromised with sausages instead. The 'sausage & egg' sandwiches came without the egg. Once we pointed this out to the waitress she did take them back and returned with them having found the elusive eggs. The large stack (6 remember) of pancakes were one missing on each plate (maybe they were with the eggs!!). Apparently the chef thought that five were enough for our strapping young adults (errr, menu!!??). The waitress came out with the missing pancakes and apologised. The tea for two amounted to one cup each. When asked for more hot water one of the staff said that couldn't give us any more hot water (maybe the kettle was with the eggs and pancakes???). However, another member of staff did fill up the tea pot for us.The food is generally ok. The serving area is a bit erratic, no signs showing where to order hot food, where to order ice creams etc - its a bit chaotic to say the least!!!

The food was ok nothing to shout about however the waitress Sam couldn't do enough to help, very friendly, chatty and helpful. Give that girl a raise she made the visit very enjoyable

We stopped here just for a drink and cake and were blown away with how lovely the atmosphere and staff were. We ordered in typical American fashion root beer and key lime pie and both were lovely. The root beer is Australian and good quality and the key lime pie was delicious . The diner is very clean with tables cleared away quickly. Service is with a smile and we were extremely impressed with the staff. We will most certainly come back.

Hi. I visited for the third time this holiday and I love it! The adventure land is perfect for my daughter and 2 sons... I am in love with the diner as it is very clean, trendy and all staff are very friendly and polite.. our waitress was a young girl, brown hair and she was excellent and couldn't fault her at all. She was very attentive and was very helpful. She is a credit to the team and a real lovely girl. Unfortunately she didnt leave her name however I hope this message gets back to her and she gets credit for being so brilliant while we visited springfields today! Well done to all the team- you was all so busy however did an amazing job and all smiling which is a pleasure to see!Thank you! We had another lovely visit

We popped in on Saturday 31st August for take-away ice cream.There were not many people in the restaurant but there were 7 staff who were keen to interact with each other but who did not acknowledge any customers!It seemed totally disorganised... dirty tables, unfriendly service, lack of any managerial or leadership within the place.Even though we stood at the ice cream counter no one approached us . I then asked if they had ‘a system’ to be told you have to pay at the counter for it first - this was right next to the ice cream counter & the person who said that was the one who served us!!I would not even consider dining there as the food did not look very appealing but it appears to do well due to the location within Springfields.Come on guys put a bit of effort in you could make this a much better place. It seriously does need proper management , some health & safety & customer service practices to be put in place - a smile can make a huge difference too!!

Stopped here for lunch with my 2 children. Staff are friendly. Food order was taken quickly and efficiently. Food was delivered correctly and looked great. Tasted even better. Would definitely return. Thank you.

Restaurant v busy as was lunchtime, and start of school hols.

Been meaning to try this place out for a while, sadly slightly disappointed. Staff very friendly and helpful, great looking place but the food not so good. Arrived about 11:30 was told still on breakfast menu, we were hoping to try a burger, but ordered breakfast anyway, only to discover, whilst waiting for our order, the next table was served a selection of burgers? ..... Very confusing .... Will probably give it another go at some point, but not in any rush.

Springys is ideally situated at the end of the Sprongfiellds Shopping Centre..it's large and roomy and hadn't been opened very long. The food is ok and is rather like Macdonalds ...the staff quite friendly too.

"I went here for a burger and chips and was quite shocked at the poor value for money. The salad that it came with was the smallest tiny lettuce leaves, highly inappropriate amount. The chips were 'scabby' and inedible. Two circles of raw onion came with the dish, why were these not cooked? The bill came to £15 for a takeaway for two."

We went to springys for something to eat before a show. Having eaten in Spalding many times and each time ending up disappointed I thought this might have been another. How wrong could I have been!!

My mother, younger brother and I were looking for a place to eat this Sunday afternoon and thought we'd go to Springy's at Springfields. We'd never been before and thought it was some kind of Cafe, but were pleasantly surprised that it was actually an American Diner style.

The service was amazing Phil was really polite and Ryan was the best chef. They even made me a apple cake with ice cream they are the best place and I fully recommend them.

Popped into Springy's the other day for some lunchtime food and was really happy with both the food and service I received. I was served by Phil and was greeted in a polite and pleasant manner and he appeared to be extremely knowledgable about the various options available on the menu. I went with his recommendation and when my food arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the taste, value for money and portion size as well. I would definitely recommend a visit to Springy's Diner!

Came in for lunch on Thursday and was greated bye Phil our waiter a delightful chap his customer service was on point and so was his colleagues even tho it was busy and everyone was rushing around The food didn't take long too come out of kitchen it was braught too myself bye a young chef in a dark chef top very polite all in all pleased and will return again soon

We took a break from being underwhelmed at the choice of shops and boring our toddler at adventureland to have a quick.. It was quick and it was OK. The mac burger and fries were nothing special but I was hungry and it got eaten. The service was great and nobody died. All in all not too bad I suppose.

The family and I popped in for lunch on Tuesday and our waiter Phil was very helpful despite how busy it was he made us feel welcome.

Visited today (Sunday lunchtime) and had a very enjoyable meal.

Food took a long time to arrive and when it finally did my burger had clingfilm in it. Staff apologised and gave me a platter of chicken free of charge and promised me a discount. When I went to pay they discounted my £45 bill by £1.25 wouldn't recommend or revisit.

We'd done the shops and wandered around the gardens so it was time for a break. An ice cream and a blueberry and maple syrup soda were just the thing.

Had a really good experience at the weekend here the play area is excellent value for money. We had a great meal at Springy’s the guy phill who served us had excellent costomer service skills and was very engaging with the kids. Highly recommended a visit to this place. We will most certainly be heading back.the food and drink was really nice and reasonably priced

We visited the diner Sunday 30th December, after a good amount of shopping in Springfields. If you weren’t looking for this place, you’d never know it was there (unless you have kids, and they spot the park!).

Had the best time ever my kids loved the park and the food was amazing my server who served me tall lad with red hair made sure I had everything I needed and checked back on us a few times to make sure was satisfied with everything and was good with the kids very pleasant chap I would come back again with the family

Some excellent food, particularly the burgers and sweet potato fries, but chilli spoilt by too much chilli powder. Portions massive, only my teenage son finished, so if you are a big eater this is the place. Clean and tidy.

food is expensive and not pleasant. was served by a young girl who seemed as though she was very unhappy that we disturbed her conversation with another member of staff. would not reccomend.

I’ll begin with the food because it was lovely and met all my expectations. I had the Blue Burger and sweet potato fries which was pleasantly served, well cooked and very tasty. The rest of the menu is good and would meet everybody’s needs if you went as a party, from grills to salads.

Food was brilliant. We both had burgers which are locally sourced. Amazing. Salad very fresh and chips delicious. Restaurant very clean and staff very helpful. Will definitely return

Staff were unprofessional during service, messed up order resulting in incorrect billing. Food was fine to eat but far too expensive for what it was. Some food served in innovate but improper baskets - chilli con carne leaked profusely from holes in the basket it was served in. Very disappointed over all. Won't be coming again.

We visited Springy's today's lunchtime.

We were seated promptly and our drink order taken and brought and our food ordered. We then had quite a long wait for it. There seemed to be a lot of waters milling about and getting in each others way. When the food came we got the impression it fries and sweet potato fries, ribs and macaroni cheese were lukewarm at best. A pity because we liked the surroundings and our waiter was very friendly.

Went yesterday to have waffles and ice cream with drinks. Waffles were like stone had to return 3 for refund, no ice cream was served with them until we went back to the counter to ask for it. One of the drinks cans had a hair stuck on it and was overpriced at 1.95 per can. No apologies but got refund for the uneaten waffles. Won't be going again that's for sure.

Springy's is part of the amazing Springfields shopping and leisure park, well worth a visit at anytime. (Beautiful, child friendly, gardens and fantastic shopping bargains.)

We visited today on a busy bank holiday. The restaurant was very busy and we were warned that it would be 45 mins for food. This was not a problem as little ones can play in the play area whilst they wait. 20 mins later we had our food.

Visited Springys during a shopping trip to the outlet. We had a quick look around JCB land first and was very impressed with the set up and agreed it was a welcome attraction that would help promote Spalding and surrounding areas. It was a hot day so we ordered drinks which were served immediately. The diner was busy with a majority of the families enjoying the outside area. We didn't stay for a meal but the food being served looked delicious and we plan to visit again when the children were back at school.

Came here with children and grandparents at lunch. The most annoyingly factor is the price, it is so expensive for what it is. When we went it was so busy, so I have to let them off a bit for that but no apology for waiting 20 mins for drinks and 3/4 hour for food. If it had not been so busy it would have been 1 rating not 2! Having just got back from 3 weeks is the USA this is far from the service we received there! Your restaurant motto is have a nice day, live up to it!

Food over priced, quality of presentation and ingredients need to improve, more tables outside needed, confusion of where to que to order the food, as I was standing at till food and drinks were being passed right by me, having to move out the way whilst queing ! Good idea though, experienced management needed to organise the youngsters working there,

I have never written a poor review before and would have avoided this place if l had read the previous reviews. The service was poor despite a large number of staff, l was handed a menu covered in ketchup, the tables were visibly dirty, we had to wait a very long time for the food to be served and the food was over-priced for the quality. Will never eat here again.

Came for a quick bite to eat staff were friendly however everything we wanted to order they ran out of or didn’t serve after 11am even though not stated on the menu. Won’t be coming back

Visited here with my sister, boyfriend and nephew. Nobody was really bothered by our arrival, and I noticed how dirty and unkempt it looked. Also noticed that the managers were sat doing expenses in the middle of the restaurant that people were queuing to get into because it had started pouring with rain - they were taking up a perfectly good table for 6 between the 2 of them, rather than offering it to a customer? Anyway, those who didnt end up eating here were the lucky ones. When we did finally get some sort of service, we gave our food order of 3 starters, 3 mains and a children’s main. The portions for the price were ridiculous, I got the chicken strips for a starter and what came out was 3 measly chicken nuggets and some garlic mayo for £6! The other starters were no better. Portion size of mains were better, however I had the chilli cheese dog and the chilli on top was cold, so much so that not even the cheese had melted on top. My boyfriend had onion rings with his main, which were stone cold. My sister asked for a ranch salad and got a bowl of lettuce and croutons, no ranch dressing or blue cheese as advertised on the menu. Half a pint of coke came to £4 each. All in all, we ended up paying over £70 for a meal that was quite frankly disgusting. Do not go here, there are more restaurants in Springfield’s that are much more worth their value for money. If I could give this place no stars I would. Abysmal.

One of the worst places we had visited the school kids didnt really do much we got 2 drinks but one was not what we orded as they had ran out when they came not much taste at all then they forgot my mums drink then when we asked they brought the wrong one so had go and swap it then we had a slice of cake each 2 came out then had to wait about half an hour as the kitchen had forgotton about it then when it came it was cold and not at all nice payed £21 over and wasnt worth the money will not be back

A new American themed diner offering burgers, shakes, ice cream etc in the heart of the trendy Springfield’s shopping complex in Spalding. Visited for a quick snack, on entering the diner there was a sign instructing us to wait to be seated, but after a short wait nobody turned up to seat us, so we just found our own table. I was intending to get a burger & shake but was immediately put off by the prices - we are not talking McDonalds or Burger King value here! It’s restaurant prices in a fast food setting. So we just settled for a shake & a coke float, but at the counter I was informed most of the popular flavours (vanilla/strawberry etc) were sold out! Still, we ordered anyway & was informed they would be brought to our table - why it takes so long to serve simple drinks when there wasn’t even a queue is a mystery? Also the girl who served me (the place seems to be staffed exclusively by school-leavers!) had to be prompted to give me my change...not that there was much left from a tenner!
