Frankie and Benny's in South Holland

We walked in to a very snappy manageress who was extremely unfriendly and blunt, pointed to a table then walked off sat for nearly 20 minutes while staff all standing together with their backs to customers were chatting and leaning on service counter, finally put an order in took 10 minutes to make a coffee, when food arrived omg disgusting my husband had New York bbq chicken I had bbq rack of ribs everything was so dry and no bbq sauce, the chips were over cooked and hard had to ask twice for my onion rings which were cold due to being left on side had to ask for cutlery and sauce, when asked for manageress she came over with a really bad attitude and as she walked off mumbled have a good day Not, not very professional is it having worked in hospitality for 40 years I think they seriously need retraining as for returning to F&B SPALDING Definitely not

The wife ordered salmon with mashed potatoes but when it arrived it was cold. She then sent it back but when it was brought back the mashed potato was cold and the piece of salmon had been replaced by a smaller piece. Again it was sent back and it returned lukewarm. When we complained to the manager he was very rude and condescending saying they were very busy even though the place was empty 😳. He then said he would sort it out later but when we went to pay the bill he had gone home for the night …….. spineless. To top it off we were not asked if we wanted puddings, so all in all a very poor first experience at F & B that has put us off visiting any of their other restaurants. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere better!

Spot on for Sunday Lunch - Quick service and friendly staff, great atmosphere, food prepared and bought to table in good time.

Have been to this restaurant before and had a good meal but this time burger was burnt and chips were dry and not fresh plus baked potato hard. I found a whole chilli in my burger as well - there’s spice then there’s spice! When my father complained about the burger the staff proceeded to pretend it was our birthday and bring over a strawberry with a candle in it whilst playing happy birthday. Maybe they should grow up or they will all be out of jobs given the performance of both the waiting staff and the chef. Won’t be ever going there again.

WE GAVE OUR REGISTRATION IN AT TILL AND STILL GOT A PARKING FINE. WARNING DONT PARK THERE WE WAS LESS THEN AN HOUR ITS A FIDDLE.

Started well, nice polite and friendly welcome and drinks served within minutes. Food ordered and was well over 45 minutes to wait to be served then all food lukewarm at best. Didn’t complain this time as restaurant close to full and just wanted to get out and come home. My wife has had horrendous diarrhoea within 20 minutes arriving home and was perfectly ok before we went to restaurant and ate. Franky and benny hit and miss at best of times, but unlikely we will ever set foot in any of these restaurants again. Shame, had some good meals here but that’s the last one tonight.

We had been visiting Frankie & Bennys for many years but unfortunately we will no longer be using this branch. The food has became sub standard and no longer acceptable. Management staff are very rude and probably need to be trained in handling complaints regarding the pitiful attempt by kitchen staff to recreate the F&B menu to a good standard. Shame on you Spalding Frankie & Bennys for being unable to give a decent meal in exchange for our hard earned money.

Birthday meal... nice evening and good company. Our particular waitress was really nice and helpful, although one of the particular waitresses should remember that when a customer asks for something thats what they want, the waitress shouldn't decide that actually you don't need that. Larger print Dessert menus. Some of the food was really good... some was just not.. particularly the garlic bread, if you can call it that. More sauce needed on the Arrabiata pasta.. The Vegan Burger is really good though. There is a really good choice of Vegan/Vegetarian food. Thank you

Had a lunch meeting and we decided to try an informal meal at Frankie and Bennys, Spalding. Chloe, our waitress was very attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food wasn’t great (pizza and pasta) but the service more than made up for it. I definitely be back next month for further lunch appointments.

The restaurant was air conditioned, and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and patient with my grandkids. The food was nice and hot when it arrived at the table

Visited Frankie and Benny's Springfields Spalding. Visited 25th July 2022. So disappointed walked in 2 sets if not 3 types of music going on. The restaurant had the old 1950 jazz music which you couldnt hear for the house music in the kitchen. Totally lost its charm. Food ordered cheese bacon burger which came out burnt. Got £7 knocked of the bill... Feel its lost its charm.

Good choice, well cooked, really good service, childrens meals are excellent value for money, would recommend. Free parking if you park in restaurant car park.

Had a wonderful lunch with some friends. My friends say it was one of the best burgers they had. I had a lemon and herb risotto, it was absolutely gorgeous. Josh, our waiter was very attentive. As someone with a dairy allergy, he answered all my questions checking ingredients with the chef, and never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience (unlike some other restaurants I've been to in the past). There's lots of vegan desert options too which is always a nice change from just having sorbet. Thank you Josh and the kitchen team for a fab meal!

What was supposed to be a relaxing lunch on a weekend turned out to be an hour of endurance, with kids screaming and angry parents shouting back against a background of loud 50s music. Couldn’t wait to get out. I feel for the poor waitresses that have to put up with this all day. Parents forget the need for manners when in a public place when other people are trying to enjoy their meal out. Unfortunately, Frankie & Benny’s is not the place for a pleasant meal out.

I visited today with my partner for lunch. I had wings for my starter which were charred and dry with a squirt of hot sauce poured over them. Pretty disappointing. For my main I had the NY Deli burger, when it arrived I held it up and literally poured juice out of it, not the usual bit of grease you expect, I’m talking i needed to fill on strain my burger before I could eat it. Two bites in and I put it aside, it was dry, burnt and just god awful. My girlfriends food on the other hand was quite nice, her carbonara was faultless. Despite the shockingly low quality of food, I left happy with the service I received. Our server was a true credit to the business, she catered for our every need and seemed to genuinely care that we didn’t leave disappointed. The inedible food was discounted off the bill and a free dessert was offered. I won’t be visiting again due to the poor quality of food but you cannot fault the staff there, I just wish I took the name of my server so I could give her personal recognition here for being so fantastic.

On Tuesday morning me and my friend went to get breakfast at our local frankie and Benny's. We was promptly greeted at the desk and seated. We was informed that there was unlimited tea and coffee with our breakfast and our food arrived quickly. We also recieved discount as members of the nhs which was a bonus. The only downside was that the chair that I was sat on had a wobbly back rest, so me and the person sat behind me kept wobbling as we moved around.

We arrived early evening when relatively quiet. Staff very friendly and orders taken quickly. However we felt we did have to wait a while for the food which was surprising given there were not too many others waiting for theirs at that time.Food was of acceptable quality but not exceptional, and we felt overpriced for what it was.By the time we left it was much busier and the staff appeared to be pushed to cope.

Excellent breakfast this morning. Food was hot and tasty. Lisa, our server, was very helpful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Best experience I've had in a Frankie and Benny's.

Went into this restaurant today, on being "greeted" we immediately noticed more than one small child screaming its lungs out, so we politely asked could we have a table away from the screams, the reply we received was 'that will be hard its a family restaurant' we know that, we understand that, but it was the way it was said was unfriendly, there were plenty, I mean plenty of tables e well away as it was not busy, but no, we were sat next row to screaming child like children who had asked something we were not allowed, then before I had taken my coat off we were asked were we ready to order, then, then two minutes (if that) we were asked again by a different waitress, we left.....

Lisa served us and all was fab. Food good .good service and warm atmosphere. Will come again. Had starter and main and used my discount app. Fabulous.

First of all, I know it’s a chain and there are snobs out there who would pooh-pooh eating there. However like every chain there are good and bad and this one is one of the good ‘uns! Firstly the staff are excellent, engaging, friendly and just the right amount of chatty without being over the top. The food is very well prepared and presented. I had the mixed grill and all the meat was perfectly cooked and hot! We asked for a side order of onion rings and we could have built a tower from the pile we got, very tasty. We had a voucher which knocked £11 off the bill so all in all a bonus. We will eat here again!

An excellent US-style diner and restaurant. First class menu choices, excellent friendly efficient staff, always smiling, happy and very willing and eager to serve our needs. Today we were served by Andreea.

I wouldn't normally choose this chain because of past experience in other branches, but on a Sunday night in Spalding there aren't many options for eating out. In fact, the service was very good - waitress friendly and helpful - and the food came quickly and was of a good standard.

Since retiring my husband and I regularly go to F&B;’s in Spalding as it is good value, the staff are always very helpful and friendly especially Andreea and Rachel!

We came to Frankie’s this afternoon on Saturday and we had such a lovely time Maddie asked me to write her a review, how could I say no? She was amazing, I had the Steak and my grandson had ribs. Although restaurant was quiet, the service was ridiculously slow. The staff were all very pleasant but considering we had preordered and there were few other customers, we waited an unacceptable time for food. When it arrived it was tepid at best.

Nice reception, good service and hot food. Clean and tidy, right price. All what I expected including friendly staff who seem happy to with no false smiles.

Took my elderly nan here today and it was fantastic. We where served by lisa and she was great with my nan made her feel really special (my nan has dementia) lisa couldn't of known but the way she was you would think she did.

We come to springfields annually but second visit for me in 2 weeks. We normally eat in the Kitchen restaurant but after visit 2 weeks ago I wasn't going back. Thankfully Ben & Jerry's offer a breakfast menu and oh boy was it lovely. Will definitely be coming back on next visit to springfields. Staff friendly and huge choice to.

I love this restaurant, a great atmosphere and they have a great vegetarian and vegan range. Love the Notdog and the Beetburger is also very tasty.

Had breakfast here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lisa was friendly and quick with our order. She knew exactly what we liked and the food was lovely. Highly recommend breakfast with Lisa.

We come to frankies quite alot and a young lady called Maddison always serves us nd she is every friendly and welcoming to us and everyone around her, we had lovely burgers and wine, it was amazing, I would recommend this lady to anyone that comes to frankies

Walked in to be greeted by a wonderful waitress named maddison. We hadn't booked, but she was happy to seat us, and very quickly bought us out the drinks we ordered straight away. Took our orders for food and it was brought out quickly. She happily chatted to my dad while she was working, had a rapport with my children, and was all round a wonderful, smiling human being! A very welcome sight on a cold and grizzly weekend. Food was lovely well made, and well presented, as was desert.

My partner and I visited for lunch and were greeted by a very charming and friendly young lady and were shown to our table. The service was very good, friendly and efficient. Our lunch was very good and afterwards, Maddison, our waitress, took a lovely photo of us so that we could remember our visit.

Not been to a Frankie and Bennys for a long time we really enjoyed it don't know why we have left it so long. The portion was just right only just managed to eat it all. Friendly staff will use again when back over to Springfields

Visited with my husband and my mother in law, we chose the table we wanted to sit at and Daisy the waitress cleaned the table before we sat down. Daisy was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious.

Went on Friday evening with my friend, we were served by Daisy who was very friendly and accommodating. The food was ok, dough balls were cold and garlic bread a bit pale (had a few drinks and more cocktails so didn’t think to complain, was having too much fun) but service was definitely better, can’t beat a sever who laughs and talks with you instead of being a grump lol.

I met a friend here for lunch today, and although she enjoyed her Mediterranean salad I found the Caesar salad to be one of the poorest I’d ever had, it was just lettuce, very little cheese and a few croutons plus the dressing. Come on guys, most Caesar salads have a bit more in them than that! Our desserts however were delicious, no complaints there. We were served by a very cheerful Maddison who made our visit more enjoyable than the food did!

As always at our spalding restaurant we were very well looked after tonight by Daisy ! Our favourite weekend treat !
