McDonald's in South Holland

Till staff were good at their job, shame the fries and nuggets were luke warm at best

Filthy everywhere, tables not cleared or cleaned by anyone in the time I was there. Food took over 20 minutes to arrive. Staff swearing in the kitchen area (customers can hear when the it’s an open kitchen you know). Parts of order missing. Avoid the drive through - absolute gridlock due to the wait.

Packed at lunchtime! The best time to go is at 2:30ish

Been here 6/8 times on various trips to Norfolk and it’s always been well prepared and served hot, not always the case in my experience at other major trunk road McDonalds.

Standard macdonalds food, but this is by a long way the slowest fast food place I’ve ever visited. 20+ minutes from ordering to receiving food

We had a chicken wrap and a triple cheeseburger for lunch. Service was a bit slow

Took over 20 minutes to get my food. Unital service was poor, although the staff member who brought my food to the car was apologetic and extremely helpful. The only issue with the food was that one portion of chips was hot and fresh, and the other was cold and stale. Overall, it is a typical McDonalds experience. POOR.

Always seems very busy with nowhere near enough staff. 20 minute wait for a single breakfast sandwich is not acceptable

Wanted a coffee. Took forever tbh. But it was wet and coffee tasting

Normally really good. Got breakfast. Early morning (7:30) and it took ages to get our food, they were not busy. It was just warm and my Wife's food unedable, may have been an bad egg. Drive thru, so we were miles away or would have complained in store.

27 minutes wait for a happy meal !!!!! What's wrong with this place 😔

Ther was a heir in my burger and it was not higienic

Very fast, very polite and courteous and the food was the best I've had at a McDonald's for a long time. Lot of youths hanging about but I suppose that's part of the experience.

Diabolical! Useless! Fast food???? An absolute joke. I’m the clown for going back each time.

Stopped for breakfast and was served by Amy, what a nice change! Amy held a conversation,was pleasant and genuinely looked like she enjoyed working there. Amy had 5 stars on her badge, she deserved them. What a nice change to feel welcome!

Loud music means you have raise your voice if having a conversation. This music is for benefit of staff, not customers.

Not much to say, a typical McDonald's

Probably the cleanest mac d's I've been in. Time of vist 19.50 on the 21/8/24 well done staff

Very quick service, piping hot food...Great!

Local mcds, always having to wait, even for a simple cheeseburger?! Alot of the time the orders are wrong or missing things too which is fine if you check your stuff before leaving but shouldn't have to keep doing this. Some staff seem to be managing the place and no idea what they are doing at the same time. Other mcds are fine just this one that is rubbish most of the time, puts me off going!

I have used this Maccy d's a few times and dysfunctional is the only description. Long wait times for orders with priorities given to drive thrus and wasted time give by employees running orders out to car park and tables. Employ more staff...

Number came up to collect but had to wait for another couple of minutes. Food great.

Tables not being cleaned, fries had been sat for a while and the soft drinks were flat

It was busy, it is on again road tho but the staff the service and the food was excellent 5/5 from us well done guys

Extremely Long wait for food. Over 30mins

I had a pickup order, store kept me waiting for over half an hour in the car park. Got home and the order had missing food. Had to travel all the way back to the store, when I complained the manager simply didn't care.

I was waiting for my food NEARLY ONE HOUR. Really two burgers and nuggets???

Parking is a bit of a hassle, but never had an issue with the food

Food was ok but tables were dirty and bins overflowing. It was 5:30 am so it's not like they was busy.

Sally was great, so helpful! Had a little spillage which she happily replaced all our soggy food for us, very grateful! Thanx 😊

One of my favourite Maccy Ds in the area, the Long Sutton one is always busy, both drive thru and inside. Always a good sign! The staff are friendly and helpful and there's always a good mix of different age groups eating in, so it appeals to everyone.

15 minute wait for a McFlurry when only a few people in the queue. Gives fast food a bad name.

This was a very pleasant stop, this is one of the cleanest Mcdonalds we have been in and the food was freshly cooked and hot the atmosphere was very friendly thank you ☺️

The staff are for the most part friendly during the day. The night staff tend to be less pleasant. Thr food here is also inconsistent. Somedays it is really well prepared, fresh and tasty. Somedays it is slapped together, cold and tasteless. McDonald's would do well to improve traceability and food quality. The carpark is also too small. The prices have also spiralled far out of control.

Had a chat with a lovely lady who was cleaning, she was very thorough in her work.

Slow service, and it was quiet. No reciepts available. Place was not cleared or clean. Constant bleeping noises from kitchen. Food was good and they apologised for the wait.

3 drinks. A coke, a biscoff frappe and an ice lemonade. Neither were frozen, cream on frappe was very melted, and the biscoff was soggy in the drink. and drinks tasted like they had just been topped up a little with ice. Coke was warm.

Nice little McDonald’s, free but limited parking. Service was quite quick, friendly staff and clean restaurant.

Terrible service tonight waited 15 minutes for food as was apparently being cooked!! Dont know how they add the been sat for an hr!! lukewarm effect!! Wont be back

Always the same service and the food is always the same. A pretty standard McDonald's

McDonald's is always pretty poor, and today was no exception. There was a long wait for food and when it came it was lukewarm and greasy. And the price goes up and up, the quality goes down.

Godawful food, atmosphere, and service, but it was either that or wet myself. The loos were good, though

32 minutes to receive our order. Stopped off for a break in our journey. Big mistake. Wasn't particularly busy yet it took 32 mins to receive 2 x Mcmuffin meals. Absolutely ridiculous.

Rude staff. I can staff in kitchen without food hygiene practice. Staff say they know best. Environmental would say otherwise. Not sure I'll eat there again.

I ordered drive through double deluxe meal and only got one burger in it totally ripped off

Really disappointed came to get dinner with my best friend and her son. We had some food items that came cold, and for once it wasn’t the fries, and 2 items were also missing from the order.

Just had 7 macflurrys had to wait for them and all we got was cold soup not happy

My boy went for 2 mcflurrys got home there wasn't even spoon full off ice cream this site needs to educate there staff it is not the only time I've had things missing or bad value food

I don't recommend fast food, but if you need something quick, it's worth it

Can't fault them. Food mightve taken a little while, but I visited at a quiet time & they were preparing a lot of drive through orders. Food nice & hot, staff pleasant and restaurant very clean too.

I arrived around 4pm and the queue at the drive through was bigger than usual (Friday tea time) and to deal with through flow a lot of orders were delivered to spaces all over the car park. Clever way of clearing queue. Food was hot, better than most sites.

Very friendly staff on the drive through tills. Food was piping hot which made a nice change! Marked down on atmosphere because we ate in our car! lol

The toilets were locks due to a lot of homeless people (20+) loitering around.

Always good quality freshly cooked food. Halfway on a 200 mile journey to visit family. Always stop here in both directions.

Parked up every time for drive thru orders ,every time 15 minutes + wait for a chicken nugget meal. Bad management

waited around 30 minutes for our food and my girlfriend got food poisoning from a chicken mayo !

They took 30-45 minutes to bring me a mayo chicken last night and I now have woken up to food poisoning

Both drive thru and restaurant are painfully slow, and staff just don’t seem bothered about it.

A woman who works here coming and telling customers that they need to put orders on one number per table. I have been not asking for help or something. She just came and said that next time if me and my friend ordering table services we need to make it on one number. But we was paying separately for our orders. Very rude i must say. I don't want to be disturbed by someone with telling me how ro order my food. We was in the middle of conversation with my friend and she just came and rudely interrupted us.

Yep I had a big Mac which tasted like every big Mac I've had all over the world

Need to wake up and sort out the young idiots that are driving in treating the place like a formula one pit stop idiots if it keeps going I’ll be heading over and I’ll sort it myself there is no time limit for noise if they are sat in your car park it’s your duty of care to go out and move them on or tell them to stop doing it. Get it sorted you bloody idiots

The whole eating area was very clean. Good menue and child friendly.

Best McDonald's I've had in a long while. Well presented burger that was hot made the difference.

McDonald's is supposed to be a fast food experience. 15 minutes waiting isn't what you expected.

Good ordering via the McDonald's app. Food arrived at table quite fast. The coffee was missing, but after I pointed it out, the coffee was provided quickly.

Always stop here when passing. Food is fast and hot and not thrown together. Staff are always lovely and polite.

Reasonably quick service but food could have been hotter

15 minute wait for a flatbread and black coffee!? Drive-thru clearly has too high of a priority over people who take the time to walk in. Multiple people near the counter waiting ages for small orders.

Honestly, one of the better Macs you could visit.

The duty manager is a surly blonde woman. Doesn’t break into a smile, nor does she wear a hairnet in the kitchen like all the other stuff but believe she’s above everybody else and makes them know it. Sad really because his branch is normally a very happy place But only when she’s not there.
