As a family of 4 we had a lovely Sunday dinner. Great service, food lovely and value for money, we will definitely go again. We was surprised there was not more people there. Finished off by a lovely walk around Melbourne.

What a cracking little pub this is! A warm welcome and an excellent selection of ales and ciders, I can heartily recommend the Bee Sting honey cider…it’s strong but absolutely delicious. We’ll certainly be going back.

We got a takeaway and it was very lovely. Really liked how much pickles and sauces you got with the Poppadoms and naan bread, the curry was a little watery, but tasted amazing!

I was in the area for the weekend and just wanted to get a quick takeaway. The service was excellent and the pizza and donner i ordered was great! Definitely recommend.

I do love the drinks that they serve. Hot or iced. But the food isn't to my choice. I do think it's a little expensive. 2 breakfast baps and 2 large hot chocolate with cream was £17.

Regularly order from here and it's usually spot on, however today we waited almost an hour and a half for our food for it to arrive cold, hope this is a 1 off and not a regular occurrence as the food is nice, over £25 spent on cold food is not acceptable though

Came here two weeks ago after a gap of over ten years between visits, on our initial visit two weeks ago we were delighted with the revamped decor and layout of the pub, the attentive but not in your face staff and the food was delicious. We both had mixed grills and every single item was cooked to perfection. We were eager to return so we booked for this evening. We were a little disappointed to see the mixed grill had not only increased in price but was now missing the lamb chop 😞 but we remembered how much we enjoyed our previous meal so we decided to order the 'same' again. It couldn't have been more different. Every single piece of meat was overcooked, dry and bland to the point of tastelessness. Even the chips were bland, grilled tomatoes were hard. The only thing actually tasty was the side order of cheesy garlic mushrooms. I'm sure the duty manager knew the food was well below par as when we went to the bar to pay he didn't even bother to ask if we were happy with our meals. Shame as we really enjoyed it only two weeks ago.

Best burgers EVER, great place, great vibe, spotlessly clean. staff are amazing and so attentive. Always look forward to meeting family and being looked after so well. *Don't know what peoples problem is with parking, this is happening everywhere...

Since the new manager and team have taken over, in the middle of last year, the Dog and Duck has been transformed. The staff are very polite, courteous and helpful. I only went in for a very good pint of Courage Best, but the food being served looked really good.

Lovely pub to visit offering a great choice of home made food. Value for money and portions generous. Service great and friendly staff . Overall highly recommend. Beer good as well .
