The food was absolutely spot on and service aswell kebab was delicious

The food is spot on been here twice and both times got the kebab wanted to try something different but why change something when it’s already good

Called in on the way through to see friends, very friendly staff and the food was amazing, we had the masala fish and a chicken kebab and shared a chips, both kebabs were full of flavour and the chips were perfect. Will definitely call in again.

I travel down from Solihull specially to get a mixed kebab from this shop and i must say one of the most underated chippy around! Deliciously crispy fish and fresh chips! great portions, and very friendly service make this spot a must-visit!!!

Delivery was really quick although food was disappointing. The fish was really dry and quite hard to eat (ended up giving it to the dog) and the chips were stuck to the paper and wouldn’t come off so a lot of the chips and paper went in the bin. Overall very disappointing.

Repton Fryers serves some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish is always fresh and perfectly crispy, and the chips are just right. Friendly staff and quick service make it a top choice. Highly recommend!

Ordered at 5:45 and it arrived at 7:10! I live very close by too. My can of Diet Coke was also missing from the order.

First and last time visiting this chip shop. Whilst portion sizes were generous, the chips were anaemic, very greasy and undercooked. The cooking oil is obviously not hot enough. I have been to catering college and have a degree in home economics, so I know what I'm talking about! The fish batter had a yellow-tinge to it that made it look unappetising. I chose not to eat it.

Myself and my husband have tried this place a few times now. Never had the best experience. But we thought we would give it another go just to see if it had improved. It has not. My husband decided on a naan lamb doner which cost £9.00. The amount of meat he received would not have filled a child. I cannot believe they can charge this much for so little of a portion. It was also not very hot. I decided on curry and chips in a tray. The same again the amount would not of fed a child and again not very hot. I do not know what has happened to this chip shop as it used to be very good. We will definitely not be using this place again.

Only one peas turned up not two. Good was barely warm! Were less than 1/2 a mile away

Food quality good. Order was late and the chips were cold so we had to reheat them. Never had an issue before.

Loved it, asked for an Haddock lightly battered, and it was perfect. The chips were spot on, well worth a ride out if you don't live in Repton.

Although food was tasty, it was late, not hot and the portion sizes were smaller than expected based on previous visits.

Food always hot, delivery early most of the time also drivers really polite and respectful. if you haven't tried them give them a go, you wont be disappointed

Staying locally at knights lodges and the wife fancied fish and chips , ordered to collect as only a 5 minute drive away , food was perfectly cooked and ready to collect 20 minutes from ordering , portions of regular chips where huge , the wife’s fish was perfectly cooked and again on the huge size , kids both got the fish pieces meal , great big chunks of it , got myself the mixed kebab pitta , very well packed and full of taste , certainly pop in again when we are next in the area

Asked for them to shave fresh donner meat off for me, proceeded to get it out the tin and fry/warm it on a hotplate next to a burger. Donner meat tasted like a cheap burger. Chips were pale and undercooked. Having just moved into the area i won't be using again as first impressions go it was probably one of the worst chippy I've ever had.

Food always very good. Their chips are the best. Very quick delivery. This is the only chip shop I will order from.

Delicious handmade tandoori naans. Massive portions

No fruit shoot with kids meal and the 2 chicken burgers weren’t great, very rubbery and chewy. Everything else okay and arrived on time and hot.

Original delivery time when ordered was 35mins, once confirmed it moved to an hour and a half! Nobody answering the phone to place a large order so we could collect! So an hour and a half later and we’re still waiting. Lots of children here for a birthday and it’s so late now.

Had fish and chips tonight, had Cod and Haddock Wrapped up together not separated, couldn't tell what was what. Should never be wrapped together different types of fish. Quality was good but one piece very small for supposedly large, hate see mini size Chips awful ,dry as been reheated and like sticks No potato in them .First and likely last visit .

Most of the chippys in and around Burton are really bad. This new one was really nice the best I've had for a long time. Probably the next best to the Wetmore Road chippy.
