Hosted my Dads 60th here in the small private section, the staff here were lovely, friendly and accomodating throughout and made the experience stress free! Turned out to be beautiful celebration, highly recommended! Thank you all so much!

Standard everything no problems service a bit slow but generally clean all you expect with pub grub

Me and my partner have only been here a handful of times. It’s always been pretty decent until Sunday just gone. We got seated in an area that was quite cold. So we asked to move to a booth. Our drinks order got taken to our previous table. Within 25-30 minutes later our ordered was still not taken. A hour later the food was hideous how they even served it to us was beyond us. Starters was well over done certainly won’t be attending again. Unfortunately.

Dropped in to have a lunch to celibrate our wedding anniversary, we both decided to have a Sunday roast, meal arrived and looked very nice, but veg was cold, yorkshire pudding was cold and so was the meat, Pork and Turkey roasts. The meal description stated there would be sausage meat stuffing on the plate this was missing, it also stated the the greens would be buttered and the roast carrots would be maplle flavoured not sure about either of these statements. My Turkey had a strange BBQ or smoked taste, did not like this. Waitress asked us if we wanted any sauces, I asked for Cranberry this never arrived. Surely there are temperatures that food should be 'held' at and served at? No staff came over to us at any point and asked 'how are your meals' so decided to post this review.

Just had two Sunday roasts, one Turkey one Pork, meals looked nice, but veg was cold and so was the Yorkshire pudding, says buttered greens, questionable if they have seen any butter, no sausage meat stuffing, meat warm. Waitress asked if we would like any sauces I asked for Cranberry, she never came back to us. My Turkey had a smoked or BBQ taste. Yes we did eat most of it, no one came and asked 'how are you meals' so posting coments here.

Staff friendly but we experienced a very slow wait for our meals. We got served our meals after others had arrived and ordered after us. When it arrived we found the food average. My daughter's garlic bread was burnt, Good gluten free options but found the food average at best. I had the chicken burger, chips were rock hard and coleslaw didn't taste nice. Fortunately kids are free due to half term deal so was a cheap meal but I feel we paid for what we got. Wouldn't go back unfortunately.

I like seven wells, family atmosphere, staff are nice and friendly, food is good quality.

Fantastic food and fantastic service. We took advantage of a burger and beer offer for £12 which was amazing value for money. The food came in great time, was all hot and tasted great. We will be going back again soon to try out the rest of the menu.

Our go to pub. Offering good food at a good price. Eating out now days is expensive, however, this is an easy decision. Whether it's burgers, or grill, we always enjoy our meal here and the service is as great as the food.

The stench of urine from the men’s urinals was so overpowering and even noticeable in the restaurant itself. It does question the pubs cleanliness.

This pub has a really nice atmosphere, busy or not.. the staff make me feel welcome and always make a fuss of kids, has a cozy feel to it this time of year too with the candles on the tables. Really fancied some comfort food and went for the burger, the lovely lady who took my order advised of the burger and pint deal, so made our evening even better with a cheaper bill. Thank you, we will visit again.

Don't go anymore drinks are expensive plus the food is not great the staff are great.

It’s a Monday night so the place was very quiet so it’s unfair to say no atmosphere, the services was a little slow but ok. The food was good pub food. However they have a deal 2 meals and 2 drinks for £20. I thought great just what we need, catching up with an old friend. I ordered everything and the bill came to £39 . I questioned it and was told because the one pint wasn’t on the list I couldn’t have the deal and food would be full price. So I added another pint from the list and said throw in down the drain and now my bill was £26. Absolute madness .

Nice pub / restaurant. It's a little out the way, so expect a drive to it. Responsible driving of cause. We've had good food and service whether we've sat in the bar or restaurant..

Came for coffee morning, lots of choice and good coffee, fran very friendly

We booked a meal for my dad's birthday and as there was 20 of us we were asked to order the food beforehand. When we arrived they showed us to a room away from the main pub, which was great until we realised there were steps up to it and my brother is in a wheelchair, so we had to lift him in. There were multiple tables seating approx 4 at each. We had to move all the tables to make one large one so we could eat together. My meal arrived incorrectly. I ordered a Signature Beyond Burger and got a Vegan Burger. Not a great evening but will give it another go as a smaller booking. Maybe the size of our party overwhelmed them.

Lovely experience here at the seven wells today. The staff were attentive and couldn’t do more if they tried. Will recommend to my friends and family. Reasonably priced for good quality food.

Well that's a first: Ate our meal with a Rentokill trap at our feet! ( Only spotted as my wife picked up her bag as we left) Handed filthy sticky menus by a mute girl on arrival, at which point we should have left. The best choices on the menu are not available at the weekend, so quite limited choice but the meal we settled on was ok. We of course won't be returning due to the huge hygiene shortcomings.

Very good meals and the staff are brilliant. Chicken Tikka banquet is an excellent meal. Katsu Chicken. Wow. Lovely taste and the Chicken Fajitas are worth a try UPDATE. New menu's are now out. Not as good I'm sorry to say which is a shame. No Chicken Tikka or Fajitas on a Sunday menu which is a shame.Not the staff's fault but when a child's roast us bigger than the Skewers off the main Sunday menu for an adult main course meal. Menu picture shows two skewers but only one was on the plate. I will be on the Greene King website complaining. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT !!!!!!!! Another update. New menu's are available and the roast dinners now don't have mashed potatoes just roast and veg. How sad that a roast dinner that doesn't have mashed potatoes. New update. 9.7.23 unfortunately cooking standards are slipping a little. I'm wondering if the cooking staff are still happy when they're cooking. Newer update 1.9.24. I don't know what is happening at the Seven Wells. Half of the menu is unavailable. No Chicken Fajitas or chicken burgers plus other chicken dishes. Waited over an hour for a pudding and the table to be cleared.

We love coming here for food one of our favourite places to come for a meal with family, great atmosphere, great staff and great food what more could you ask for. This place can get busy we have seen it at it's busiest and yet the staff are still smiling away and happy to help, my young children always ask if James is working as they love him and we do to he's always smiling and singing away to himself he's such a big credit to your team he's one of the reasons we keep returning, The meals are always spot on and come out the kitchen within a good time frame my personal favourite is the katsu chicken absolutely delicious, we want to say thank you team Wells keep up the fantastic work

Great service. Visited this afternoon for a quick drink with my partner. We were served James and Fran at the bar. Staff are always friendly and approachable. Highly recommended, if you’re visiting for a meal or just stopping by for a quick pint.

Popped in tonight for a few drinks with my friend, lovely welcoming staff and just a nice friendly place! Was served by a lady called Fran behind the bar, we will be back again!

We came a couple of weeks back and had missed this offer so tried again, we mixed the honey chicken burger and the ultimate. Fantastic value for money and a really friendly team, very busy so glad I had booked. Sarah looked after us very friendly and helpful

Nicely decorated and clean, good range on the menu and multiple drink options. Wouldn't recommend the food, fish was mostly batter and had to be replaced, fajitas were burnt, sauce was missing from burgers, and one of the starters was missed off. However the staff dealt with it really well.

Absolutely fab! The Wells is a go to for us and never disappoints. We came in for the buy one get one free burger deal which is great value. Helena and Chelsea served us and were both really attentive and lovely. Jake on bar was great too - great pints! Thank you everyone!

Can't complain about the service but the food is always mediocre The pub itself seems dull and dark and could do with a makeover using brighter colours I would use the pub again but it's not at the top of my list.

Great food and service. I ordered a mixed grill that was cooked to perfection and my friend ordered a steak that he said was gorgeous. For desert I had the sharing cookie as it didn’t come as a solo desert option hence only four stars but I still managed to eat it all. Overall I had a lovely first experience here and would definitely go back again. Thanks to our server James and all staff x

Great food but what is particularly good is the great range of cask ales with regular guests. Mondays are a winner as there are certain discounted beers plus ytou can use your CAMRA discount-win win! Staff are always fab and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Go try it!

Good food, fast friendly service. Interior decor looking a bit grubby in places though, apart from that minor niggle - Great! EDIT: Just visited again today. Service very good, the menu has some really diverse choices. Katsu Chicken very good indeed. As was all of our menu selections. Brilliant to see some new decor from our last visit. Good waitressing, good food, nice welcome and comfortable seating areas.

Went for food with the family and as soon as we set foot in the building it was such a positive atmosphere. Such kind and friendly staff. The staff wasted no time in getting our drinks order in and taking our food order. The food btw was amazing, nothing missing, all came out as described on the menu. Table cleared and dessert menus in no time, can’t really complain about that. Desserts were also top notch. Special shout out to the gm Sarah, who was supper friendly and made us feel like we was on some sort of customer journey. Overall the staff were amazing food and drinks was spot on. Would recommend. Will definitely be coming again.

Fantastic place to visit for a drink (Carling) and a bite to eat. The beer is always good and food also. Special mention to Fran who is always willing to bend over backwards to help. Will be back to see the team soon. 5 stars

Lovely pub with a great outdoor area. We visit regularly and have always enjoyed the food and great service. Our latest visit was no exception and as always, James was very friendly, polite and happy to help.

Had a very enjoyable dinner.service from Helena was exceptional and the welcome and service from the rest of the team was outstanding. Food was delicious even my 2 children ate it all and that's a rare occurrence. Thankyou will definitely visit again keep up the great work!

Worst Sunday lunch I ever had! Unfortunately we ate what we could as we had waited so long for the food to arrive. Tasteless, over cooked, cold and not much of it considering the price for just people. Wasn't even asked if everything was ok with our meals so we will be voting with our feet and won't be returning.

Came for lunch today and sat outside and what a beautiful atmosphere and area to dine. Food was lovely, staff friendly and professional. Will be back regularly for a few more drinks in the sun 🌞

Went as a pre booked party of 10 Waited over an hour for food to arrive . . There were more people waiting for food to arrive than eating . Place was not busy at all so didn't understand the wait . Food arrived , cold chips chicken nuggets . Chicken was brought in a dish as white as white can be in water ,still raw in middle , obviously been microwaved. And cold. Salmon so dry an over cooked .also cold A Yorkshire pudding so burnt you could of used it on the bowling green rest of plated food cold . Burgers not cooked properly and rest of food cold same for the steak meal . The gammon was the only thing edible on the plate the rest was over cooked an cold . Complained , a man came to the table an offered to have the food redone . As we had waited by this time an hour an a half . We declined. Not wishing to wait for however long . We were offered a round of drinks . As an apology. Thank goodness we hadn't pre paid for our food . Never been before , and won't be a place I would return to . Didn't give the food any star rating Also u need to fix the locks on the ladies toilets . An check they hav soap an toilet paper . My honest opinion .

I came in last week with a few of my friends.. we were served by ella, she was a lovely young girl she made sure we was topped up on our drinks and asked if everything was okay.. 10/10 experience will definitely be coming back!!

We had an excellent meal last night. Ben was our server and he was very attentive. Got all of our orders correct and the food was very good that our children finished it all. Overall good family meal and will come again.

Good fair meal. Nothing outstanding, but solid meal. Reasonable price, perhaps a little over for what you get. Burgers were enjoyable, double up was no brainer. Grilled chicken is a little dry and over cooked. The crispy chicken was extremely tasty, as were the chips. My wife enjoyed her steak.would eat there again.

Food didn't arrive as it should cauliflower cheese did nt come with the meal had to wait about 5 mins for it to come beef on lunch was tough The gents toilets were discussing I have worked in waste domestic and human and these toilets still made me retch Sick plastered on urinals and poop all over the pans will not return

Myself & the wife came here for our anniversary lunch. Met by Jake & took us to the table with menus, we asked about GF & was brought a tablet with all allergies on it. The food we had was excellent & service first class . Prices were reasonable so would recommend a visit

Rather dull pub restaurant just off the A50. Large car park with charging points. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dull menu (usual "brown food" array of steak, burgers and such. Pleasant staff (table service). Pub is prone to flooding in heavy rain. Ok for a quick bite if you're already in the area. Tables can be reserved online.
