What a shame this once great pub has gone downhill so much. I used to live in West bridgford and visit this pub at least a couple of times a week with friends, I had been told that it was nowhere near as good but I wanted to pop in for old times sake. I remember when we would go in, I think on the first Tuesday of the month for real ale night, with guest beers and often a live band, the Pesky Alligators were great. You could buy regular food at a sensible price often served by a lovely lady called Jan. Table layouts have been altered to its detriment and now they only serve curry. What has happened to the great vibe this place used to have with really friendly bar stuff. Who on earth is running this place.....

I came in around 2:30pm to order a quick lunch before the doctors and before work I ordered the lunch time special a hot drink tea or coffee with mini fish chips and mushy peas with a side of tar tar sauce. Not a fan of tar tar sauce but you have to try when it's given to you it was okay, the chips were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside that's with salt and vinegar on them with a little lemon juice fallen on top from the fish, the fish as well had a crunchy batter but very flakey inside very delicious one of the best mini fish I have tried, the peas were good standered chippy peas can't go wrong and for the price of £10 it's a bargain cooked to perfection and service with a smile, would definitely go again.

My partner and I popped in for a bite to eat whilst in the area, and it was lovely from the moment you stepped through the doors. The decor was nice, a hint of vintage but still in the modern era. The bathrooms were decently sized and looked nice. And the food. Well both our meals were amazing, filling and filled us both with pure joy. The staff were also so kind and had a nice attitude, so made it feel lovely. Will definitely be going here again when in the area :)

Went to copper today with my friend for lunch! We both had babies both in pushchair s we was told we wasn’t allowed to have them inside unless we folded them up which I found bizarre considering our babies are only a few months old! So not a good start! We both ordered omelettes that were tasteless!! Giving the food wasn’t even good the bill was very expensive! In future I will go else where! Somewhere a bit more child friendly & food with some taste.

If you love Indian food and appreciate a curry that’s done properly, then Indian Nights in Radcliffe-on-Trent needs to be on your radar. I ordered the butter chicken, and it was exactly what I’ve been searching for – rich, tomato-based, and absolutely bursting with flavour. No coconut in sight (which is a welcome change from what I usually find locally). It was comforting, full-bodied, and clearly made with real skill and care. The meal came with fluffy rice, a lovely warm naan, and the classic extras – mango chutney, onion salad – all fresh and beautifully presented. Every part of the dish complemented the other, and it felt like a proper restaurant-quality experience at home. I’ve already placed a second order, and after a quick, friendly chat with the chef, I’m confident the next meal will be just as good. Their customer service is spot on, and they clearly take pride in what they do. They appear to deliver through Uber Eats (and probably other apps too), but it’s worth checking directly with them for the best option. Yes, it’s around £16 for a meal for one, but the quality, flavour, and care make it more than worth it. Indian Nights is a standout – I’ll definitely be going back.
