This was my favourite place to eat, I come to this specific Wagamamas very frequently with my boyfriend and I get the same thing every time but today I wanted to try out the new vegan fried chicken. I got the vegan k dogs and the edamame beans alongside; for context I have been a dedicated and passionate vegan for the past year now. I asked for it with the sauce on the side as I was unsure if I would like it, my boyfriend also got a portion too with the sauce on top but actual chicken as he is not vegan. They brought his portion first and then supposedly mine after with the sauce on top. I was confused as to why it didn’t come with the sauce on the side (which I didn’t really mind) and we also didn’t know which one was the vegan one out of the two. We asked one of the waiters if it was vegan and he said he can double check for us if we’d like but then walked off. I had my boyfriend assess them both and he thought that the one sitting in front of me was vegan. He’s also eaten a bunch of plant based dishes with me and vegan dishes these days are almost identical to animal dishes so he struggled to tell the difference aswell but he thought it must have been jackfruit and so did I. So I ate it. And then another piece. Along with the ‘vegan’ mayo. 10 minutes later a waitress comes with my vegan chicken with the sauce on the side. I asked, ‘so what did I just eat.’ I ate chicken 😕. I was so distressed and upset and immediately felt nauseous, I went to the toilet to force myself to be sick and sobbed. My boyfriend raised the issue and was rightfully angry, and we had the fried chicken removed from the bill and were given a voucher for a free side the next time we came. The first waitress who delivered my vegan chicken was apologetic, the manager also apologised but didn’t seem apologetic. I myself was in shock and didn’t know how to process it. I am home now writing this review shaking and crying. I am very emotionally distraught and honestly traumatised. There are many reasons I am vegan and I just can’t believe I ingested the corpse of a tortured animal. This is something that should not have happened, I quite clearly asked for an entire vegan meal and I do not need to double or triple check that the food I have delivered to my table is correct, I should be able to trust the service that is paid for.

In 2 of our dishes the chicken was stringy and reheated when we expected it to be freshly stir fried. A big pile of food that was tasteless apart from the topping of ginger and onion. The squid was good. Overall we were disappointed. 5 pm on a Friday and it was quiet!

Usual amount of busy and a very friendly waitress. As usual green teas take ages to come but other drinks came quickly enough. They are very overpriced and my paper straw gave up before my drink was finished. There were empty tables at times but service was slow and food arrived sporadically. We asked for forks which never arrived so I went to 2 other tables to get some. You need to fill up cutlery as well as cleaning them surely. Food was tasty but overpriced. Couldn't get attention of staff to get the bill, had to physically go to the till to pay. That's not acceptable and you need more staff on plus a manager. Nobody was identifiable as a manager. Cooks were busy in the kitchen and staff too but how can we be charged £101.00 for 4 meals, 6 drinks and poor service? You need to offer recompense especially as we only go out couple if times a year.

Good food and service. So much better than the central Nottingham Wagamama!

This place has seriously gone downhill! We’ve always enjoyed eating here but just lately the service isn’t the same. We were shown to a table that clearly wasn’t clean, dirty cutlery, bits of food on the table and a dirty menu. We asked the server if he could wipe down the table, he did but I wouldn’t Of bothered it was still filthy! We asked again, this time he gave it a better clean but it’s just grubby and unhygienic with bits of old food in between the grooves of the table. We asked for water, water came in dirty glasses, we asked for them to be changed. Food was just ok, definitely not as good as it used to be. Won’t return as there are better eateries on the avenue, shame really as we’ve always enjoyed Wagamama ☹️

Went last night (19th June) and although very busy, due to the Cricket game, the speed of service was still fast and food hot. Chap in the black shirt (manager or team leader?) was amazing. He was very friendly and accommodating. Will come back again

What an experience! "Wagamama experience". We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. One starter came my girlfriend started to eat it and I got my main. 🤣 they explained to us it's perfectly normal because they bring the food when it's fresh. Obviously, other restaurants are not bringing them when it's fresh, they wait couple of days... it's not a problem we said that's okay. Middle of my main I had my starter arrived. I tried to wait for my girlfriends food but it's started to get cold so I ate it. Her main food still didn't come when i finished ny main and starter. 🤦🏻 What a bad system this is... How can they allow finish one guest to finish with every food meanwhile the other guest didn't even receive all food at the same table. We cancelled her food and left. Imagine if you order delivery that your main comes with one driver, and 30 minutes later you'll receive the starter and an hour later they will bring the drink because the bar section was closed "apologies". What a shame....

Three words: BEST WAGAMAMA EVER… Me and my partner are regulars here for very good reason, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, the food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is brilliant. We’ve been going for that long now that some of the staff members recognise us and will be super welcoming and friendly to us, always say welcome back and make sure our food is great! I know they won’t just do this for their regulars by the way as they all do a fantastic job looking after all! Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of said staff but I commemorate them. Thank you guys and thanks to the chefs for always producing amazing food!

We had a table of 11 booked in and we spent half an hour waiting at the door. We were initially ignored. After 10 minutes we approached the staff and they said that we would be waiting as a result of short staffing but they would get us seated. Short staffing is not a reasonable excuse for having no front of house or complete lack of communciation. 20 minutes later we have still not been seated and had to approach them yet again, ultimately resulting in the group leaving to go elsewhere.

We have eaten at many Wagamama restaurants over the years and the food can be great sometimes and not so great at other times but the service is always good. This was our first time at this restaurant and it won’t be the last. The food and drinks were excellent, the service was excellent, thank you Felina! Lovely and clean restaurant. We had a lovely time, thank you. I would highly recommend it.

Wagamamas West Bridgeford, Nottingham, so happy to find my favourite restaurant. Sunday treat , crispy pork ramen bowl, beetroot and ginger smoothy, devine Japanese cheese cake and to end this delicious meal some Japanese cherry tea. I've eaten at Wagamamas all over England and never had a bad meal. They are superb and so worth visiting for any Asian dish.

Shirodashi pork belly ramen was really nice Tama squid was great .

Crap slow service. Randomly bring out dishes in any order and at any time. Slow, didn’t bring cutlery until it was cold.

First time at this venue for my wife and I and really enjoyed it The service and food were excellent but a little noisy for us oldies. We will be returning.

Amazing fresh food with friendly service

Went for dinner with two other persons around 7 pm. Very crowded but got a table quickly. Atmosphere was good and very friendly staff. Problem was that the main dishes were delivered to the table over a 20 minute period so two of us had finished eating before the third person (me) even started. Food was good and up to Wagamammas usual standard.

It was a very bad experience, the food was very poorly made , no taste and as usual starters came aftermath, soup was served at the end. I returned my pad thie as it was inedible.

Good luck to our server who was working her first day! She was very friendly ☺️

Summary: bad A Spacious venue with appealing decor, and courteous staffs. Regrettably, the Korean hot pot was a major disappointment with super high levels of salt, oil, and cheap ingredients, earning the title of the worst Korean food or hot pot I've ever tried. *** I sincerely encourage the restaurant's boss to experience the hot pot themselves for a better understanding. *** Definitely not worth a revisit. Given the price, opting for two similar plates of much higher quality and much better taste at NG1 is a much more satisfying choice.

I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here! I am looking forward to returning to try other things I spotted on the menu. Also some good drinks on the menu too...Only downer for me is that it feels kind of cold atmosphere and it's more on the expensive side.

Just wanted to say thank you to Alex for the awesome customer service! Me and my husband had a great time there, and the bao and ramen were super tasty.

We waited for a long time for our food to come , it wasn't served at the same time even though it was a family meal ( my daughters birthday). When it finally arrived, it was cold and greasy . We wouldn't go there again . Two members of the staff were friendly and polite.

2nd visit to a Wagamama and first time in Westbridgford, we arrived to a rather straight faced (and quite miserable) member of staff who took us to a table. The waiter didn’t explain how the food comes out (we wanted a starter) but the food comes out whenever they want to bring it. Then no one checks in to see how the food was or to offer anything further. Then Upon paying asks for a tip….I always tip but in these instances what am I tipping? The poor greeting at the door? The fact I didn’t see anyone once the food came and paid via a QR code. Not enjoyable for me, food was ok but service was very poor

Great service. Very fast with the drinks and my panchi which I hadn’t tried yet was delicious, might try make it at home. My Yaki soba and buns were really tasty and staff were polite and efficient. Big shoutout to Rhea and Niamh for great service and for accommodating our needs :)

I can for lunch with one of my best friends and our little girls. Alex was so helpful kind and informative. as a mothers this was so very much appreciated. She greeted us with a wonderful smile and we will be coming back many times following this wonderful experience.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our host Rhea was really welcoming explained everything perfectly we were served by manger Niamh who was very accommodating and informative. Brenda took my allergy and was very patient as we went through the food and explained what to avoid. They were all stars. I thoroughly recommend!!

Very disappointed tonight with my click and collect. My order of Steak Teryaki whilst tasting nice, the steak was very tough and impossible to chew through. Very poor quality steak. My wifes pad thai tofu was as good as usual.

Food was fantastic (ordered a yaki soba with Tofu) and it’s the best I’ve ever had at any Wagamama. Restaurant ambience is amazing and fairly loud in terms of having a conversation at a table. Staff are very friendly and kind. The restaurant is squeaky clean as team members clean up seconds after a table is empty with proper cleaning solutions and set it up for the next customer. Restrooms are tidy with a place for baby nappy change Parking is a bit of a stretch but there is street parking around the Co-op with a meter situated right next to it and from there to the restaurant is a few minutes walk. Highly recommend to anyone who drives by or had had a terrible experience in another branch to try this!

Visited Wagamamas in West Bridgford for a second time and all round it was excellent. Nice atmosphere, fast service and the staff are very nice. The food was lovely, great portion sizes and well worth the cost. Will be going here again.

Even though I came to the restaurant alone, I felt very welcome. I get my table and I ordered immediately. I ordered 3 starters and one main course. But before the starters, the main courses arrived. I conveyed this situation to the waitress. But notting change. I have eaten at many branches of Wagamama. And also foods not really what I wanted… TOTALY disappointed…

Very enjoyable meal, and lovely decor - i hadn't been before but would definitely go again, probably for a birthday or special occasion.

Highly recommend it! I’ve placed my order through deliveroo and I wanted to change one of the dishes with Vegan Chiken and the lovely lady Blythd assisted me and made sure that it was sent correctly! She was so polite and helpful!

It is such a beautiful restaurant! Very modern and clean interior design! Staff was very welcoming and helpful and they did more by adding ice to my tap water when I informed them that my food was a bit too spicy! The only thing was the Pad Thai I ordered was way more spicy than I excepted. The taste was good nevertheless.

Loveeee this wagamamas so much. I have been at least 6 or 7 times. Every staff member is delightful, the food is high-quality and served quickly. Only thing is the loud atmosphere - i don’t mind it but for older people or people sensitive to noise it may be a bit much. Otherwise - highly recommend!!

Visited late on a weekday evening although the restaurant was still quite busy at 9pm. Serving staff were great, friendly and quick, although I’m not convinced that if you use the QR code to pay your bill the tips go to them ( I didn’t). I’m quite OK with food coming out in random order (it’s one of Wagamama’s ‘things’) so when all three dishes turned up at once it was inevitable that by the end of the meal some of it would go a bit cold. But the pad Thai wasn’t particularly hot when it arrived and was dry from the start, without much flavour. Chilli Squid always works for me and was tasty and hot, the gyoza however seemed to be over-fried on the outside (rather than being steamed), and undercooked inside, so all in all not up to the standard of my last Waga meal (admittedly pre-Covid)

We came here to celebrate two family birthdays. Good choice of location because 8 of could share the same table. Waitress, sorry, I can't remember her name, was very patient and sweet. Food came quite quickly and was very nice. There were crayons and a colouring in she for the child. Food was really nice, thought the starters were expensive even if they were tasty. Will go again

One of the best Wagamama's i've ever been to! The service was incredible - Izzy and Brenda made my friends and I feel so welcome and helped me with choosing a new main course. The food was delicious and came so quickly. No complaints!!

Such a lovely experience eating here. The service was fantastic and fast and the layout of the restaurant is light and spacious. The food and drink was delicious, particularly the gyoza ramen. 10/10.

Lovely restaurant. Food was pretty good though on the tight end. Usually get 3 slices of meat in a meat dish. Price is really expensive. £100 for a family of 4 for a dish drink and 2 deserts. Wouldn't pay that price everytime. Overall I love it so much.

Yas was an amazing server, thank you for him my wonderful lunch. I ordered a chilli ramen, but except the chicken or the beef i ordered with pork. He sorted me with the chefs really quickly. Today the restaurant was really busy, but the service was so quick. :)

Very excellent staff who have us a free starter! Very welcoming and helped my grandparents with the menu a lot, took time to move a chair for me to sit at the table. Wheelchair accessible throughout.

Brought my grandparents for their first Wagamama’S in the hope I could use a voucher I got them for Christmas. With absolutely no fault of Wagamama the voucher wouldn’t work, the mananger so kindly spent the time to try and help us and then even discounted our meal. Which was so kind. My nan has to use special cutlery due to shaking and we ended up leaving it behind! Luckily they saved it for us. Kindness makes the world go round, thank you all Been to hundreds of wagamama meals and staff are usually impersonal but not here, we will be back!

Great service in here today always so helpful and willing to do anything to make your visit fun, thank you to Izzy and Ted for being so friendly and attentive kids love coming here so its always nice when your served with such kindness.

We have tried the takeaway 🥡 for few times, however this was our first time to actually sit down and eat in last week. The interior design is a bit different, they have a booth seat. The staff were so friendly ❤️ One of the staff who can speak Cantonese 🇭🇰 helped us to place the order. She offered the recommendation of which gyoza 🥟matches with ramen and which gyoza would HongKongese like the most. Overall, it is a pleasant dining experience 😌We think Wagamama has improved a lot since we first tried it like 10 years ago.

What did we have? ~ Bang bang cauliflower 🥦 ~ Chilli squid ~ 🐣 Katsu curry ⭐️ I am not a big fan of spicy food, but this time the Bang bang cauliflower has become my new favourite dish in Wagamama. The sauce is spicy🌶, but it’s addictive!! It is a great starter. AND you will never get disappointed by their Katsu curry rice.

We’ve been going to Wagamama in Nottingham for the last 16 years. So happy when it came to West Bridgford. BUT we’ve been about 6 times now and always something goes wrong - generally someone’s food forgotten or at times management attitude problems. Today I couldn’t eat my food it was so bad. I had to ask them to not charge me for the dish I didn’t eat - as it was inedible. So customer service seriously lacking. Something wrong with the team running it - I think I’m done visiting the WB branch. What a wasted opportunity - it could be a gold mine - but friend’s experiencing the same problems.

Our waitress was Blythe and she was lovely, very friendly and attentive, had a good knowledge in the dishes too to help us choose, would deffo come again was amazing!
