Food is overpriced, pool table always breaks, during the poker nights they decided to run bingo with some silly mare screaming down a microphone. Pub has gone down hill a lot under current management.

This is a lovely community pub, very spacious and lovely staff, I first came here in September and liked it that much I now come here 5 times a week!

fabuloso! No hay muchos problemas. Deliciosas cenas asadas y comidas fáciles para niños. Trajeron una bandeja con pudines de Yorkshire extra y papas. Pregunté si tenían dibujos para colorear o macetas de crayones para niños y dijeron que podían imprimir algunos. U dijo que no me molestara, pero 5 minutos después me dieron una gran pila de dibujos recién impresos y una bolsa de lápices de colores. ¡Qué buen servicio! La comida estaba caliente y buena, especialmente el asado vegetariano.

Great community minded pub. Something for everyone. Wendy and Glyn are amazing hosts, professional, courteous and welcoming. Love it.

We went on a Friday night for a friends birthday. We were welcomed by the staff who were really friendly and welcoming. The food was good price and the food was very tasty. The food arrived quick and was super hot. Highly recommend

Freshly cooked to order Looked appetising The photo on the last bad review didn't look real / like the meal had been served that way. If it had been mentioned the staff would have rectified it straight away. They are lovely & professional staff . We asked for extra custard & got a full size jug of custard . They were all friendly , professional and lovely staff We will be back soon!

More of a local community 'sports' pub than to attract a wider clientele. As such it serves that purpose well.

Sunday lunch for 6.....oooh we had everything, sooo spoilt. Extra Yorkshire puds, roasties, jugs of gravy. The food was absolutely delicious. 😋 😍 👌 The service was attentive, just excellent with a good, but perfect dash of humour. Such a wonderful family atmosphere. I can't recommend the Willow Tree enough. But don't take my word for it. As you're missing a treat if you don't go and enjoy yourself.

Super new menu - at last! It’s also good to see some much needed external improvements to the paving and play area being done and, best of all, the beers on offer are just great!

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch hear. Nothing was too much trouble. Great place and the outside space was great for the kids

As stated below, we did return and it was great again. They even lent someone a rain jacket who had forgotten theirs! Previous review... Our walking group started and finished a walk at the Willow Tree today. We had pre-ordered the food a week before. The staff kindly opened the toilets for us before the walk as we had arrived before normal opening hours. On our return two hours later, the lovely food was all ready and quickly delivered to the table. There was a good selection of real ale. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Some of our group had dogs and the pub is very dog-friendly. We will definitely return in the future.

Have just had a very nice lunch off good value for money lunch menu. Good portion sizes and nicely presented. Took my dad, who really rates the lasagne. Joan & Kath gave friendly & excellent service

Good local pub that carries a decent atmosphere. I’m a fan of the selection of beers they have on tap, including Neck Oil, Camden Hells and Asahi. Dog friendly. Friendly staff.

We were looking for a pub to watch the football and found Willow Tree. Loads of screens to watch but the staff are the stars, so friendly and welcoming. Food was good pub grub served quickly. Around by the pool table language was a bit colourful - if you’re taking kids would go for the main bar … but it was a match day so passion to be expected. Would definitely go again

Went here on 5th March after a bad experience what a difference a week makes the food was AMAZING STAFF AMAZING everything was so much diffrent thank you very much for inviting us back Ant so glad we gave it another go was that good we can't wait to come back the food was gorgeous

lovely village pub, been here a few times with my boyfriend, and service is always 10/10, mostly by Paul who i believe is the Deputy Manager. always running around and making sure everyone is happy and needs are met. his efforts should be commended😊x

Called in today ,two of us had the vegetable pie dinner and it was fantastic really tasty with roast and mash,stuffing, green beans,carrots.my mum had the turkey roast dinner and really enjoyed it.just thought I'd let you know it was a fantastic dinner. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, thanks to the chefs .we will be back soon.

Lovely food despite being very busy the manager and his team were aware of people waiting and served them as quickly as possible and were very helpful.

First visit to this delightful pub /restaurant. Good size interior with separate games room and TV screens at far end of large bar area. Great service from Joan, who served tables. Prices are very competitive. Will visit again. Highly recommended

How long will the brewery tollerate the two clowns that currently run The willow tree. I happened to witness an awful event on a Wednesday Quiz with Paul the supposed Deputy Manager seemingly drunk and verbally abusing the quiz master. In his drunken rage then went on to damage a door in the pub. This was totally unprofessional and it made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable. I shall not be returning. Why are people that hate customers in a customer facing role, nevermind hospitality. Wrong career for you Paul, in my opinion you should be at the job centre signing on

A very nice chain pub, sports shown whilst also family and dog friendly. Staff always pleasant and attentive.

Gone down hill. Paul and the GM have terrible attitudes towards customers. They both look like they could do with a bath and some clean clothes. The GM wearing jeans and a hoodie behind the bar doesn’t look like a person that takes pride in the establishment. If their personal standards are this poor i dread to think how poor of a standard they work at. Get them gone before you start to lose trade that has grown steady with hard work of previous management

Came for a Sunday lunch with friends who live locally and recommended on 10.12.23. First time I’d been and the pub was very busy with a great buzz of couples, families and friends enjoying a pre-Christmas lunch. We were served very promptly and the food was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful and all at a very reasonable price too, will definitely be returning!

What a great experience whilst visiting the area. This pub was the nearest that was dog friendly and oh my it didn't fail to delight. From the exceptionally freindly staff, the food, the water dispenser for the dogs (a wooden beer barrel) dog biscuits and a collage of dog pictures. Definitely an oasis and bonus for the locality..

Great food, good value for money and very friendly staff but also not fake smiles like you get in some high end pubs and restaurants.

Avoid the roast. Had the beef and it was poor quality and half fat. The potatoes were dry, and the veg was pretty grim as was the gravy. For £15 very disappointing. Bring back Owen.

Don't really rate my meal (mixed grill) but my wife and son were happy with theirs. Service was quick but then the pub wasn't particularly busy for a Friday lunchtime.

Normally a good pub but I was disappointed on Sunday. They had run out of most larger, the chicken and bacon salad came out in a hot dish which had been sat under a heater for a while.

Had a party of 26 booked for a family birthday - on a Sunday! Nothing was too much trouble, the service was impeccable. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. All food was pre-ordered to help out kitchen staff and cannot complain! Didn't hear any complaints from any family members about their food. Large portions and cooked well. Extra yorkies and roasties brought around and even extra gravy. We were well looked after! Staff provided plates, knife and napkins for our own cake and we were even able to put banners up and decorate tables. Good ales on offer. Generally, an all round fabulous afternoon for a surprise 95th birthday lunch. I am certain that many of us will come back when visiting again. Considering it was a lovely Sunday, the staff coped with a busy pub exceptionally well, as well as such a large party! Thank you :)

Food and service was excellent and prices reasonable. This is a very large pub/restaurant with plenty of seating and many rooms. There are lots of televisions scattered around. We had Sunday Roast with a choice of beef pork or turkey. They have a very varied menu with excellent choice of dishes. There are many tables and benches outside which again is a big area with a fenced in slide for small children.

Amazing value for money. Had child's portion of fish and chips and it could have been for an adult, with a dessert included, for a fiver. Highly recommended.

Good food in a bright, well maintained pub. Wasn't sure what to expect from the outside as it just looks like a generic plain estate style pub. Inside though was really nice with plenty of space. Room for both sports on TV and separated tables for meals. Dogs definitely welcome.

Lovely staff very helpful. Food was a bit of a let down way too long between courses and was not very hot when it did come. They were busy as it was mother's day but even so we did expect better food than we got.

Visited for Mother's Day Sunday 3 course meal. The staff were faultless and very attentive. The food was possibly the worst I've experienced eating out, some how all the veg and roast potatoes were completely cold and very over cooked, Yorkshire puds cold and not cheap either at £25.99 each. Starter was only dish to be served promptly and hot and we all enjoyed. To an hour for mains to follow and drinks at end of meal to go with puddings completely forgotten. One selling point of there menu seemed good with offer of "Unlimited free yorkies and roast potatoes" but we didn't even finish first as they were stone cold and insipid. Seemed to be severely under staffed for such a busy occasion. Plus side I bet it makes a wonderful drinking pub but just not for food. 0 stars if could.

We popped in for a meal one Thursday night. Staff were really helpful, showed us to a table and bought our drinks over with a smile. Good menu with a lot of choice. I went for a medium rare steak, which was cooked perfectly, with crispy chips and onion rings! We will definitely be visiting again with family and friends!

Very busy and still provided great food for a good price and in good time. If you are looking for a quiet night then be aware that Wednesday night is their quiz night so either get in early or pick another night 🙂

We have visited the Willow Tree a couple of times in recent weeks and can only praise the food, staff and comfortable environment. On my second visit I also met the manager Ben who made us feel very welcome and is full of enthusiasm. Great place to visit.

Had Sunday lunch here - food and drink was good, service / staff were great, there was a 50kW charger in the car park and overall it was great. Only downside is that the place could do with a refit as it's looking a bit tired now.

Lovely Sunday Lunch , competetive price and they offer you extras of yorkshire puddings,gravy and roast potatoes

New manager has turned the lounge into a bar. Loud TVs and groups of drunk men. Can’t get a sandwich or anything light on Saturdays. Not recommended which is a shame since we have been coming here twice a week or more for years. Staff are brilliant but ambience is terrible. Don’t come if you want to relax.
