Huge cafe area. Good for quiet phone calls/internet without disturbing others. Pleasant staff.

Lovely hot chocolate and a lovely service. Definitely will be returning especially for the Bakewell tart absolutely sublime

Lovely costa, heart of the community. Fantastic team, great service. They let their personalities out and it makes it a place you want to be and feel part of. Always clean, nearly always great late art and they even manage a good oat milk Flatwhite (which is super difficult!) Parking around the side in a free car park

I visited this Costa with my friends a few times, and I have always received a very warm welcome, especially thanks to two excellent baristas, Carys and Iryna, who greet you with a smile, suggest the best drinks, and create a nice atmosphere. The place is clean and nicely arranged. I recommend the salted caramel coffee frappe – a very good dessert, yet not too sweet – and my favorite flat white.

This is my local coffee shop and I’ve got to know most of the staff personally. They are always so friendly and polite I just wish Costa would look after its staff more. Too many have left in the past few years. Leah is a gem by the way always ready to go the extra mile for customers. Well recommended

A really spacious Costa inside and also had outside seating on the village main street. Quick service at the counter and checked all ok when I was at a table.

Wasn't too impressed. Came in at 5:30, shuts at 7, everything we ordered had to come in a takeout cup so as to save on the 'washing up'

I have been to this costa so many times, but never have I enjoyed an interaction as much as I have with barista Eliza. She was a star. The coffee was nice, but her service made me smile for the rest of the day. Thank you to both her and the costa establishment. Keep up the amazing work.

The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. Tables were being cleared and cleaned regularly. Definitely worth a trip for that feeling. Much less wait and more approachable than some others I've visited

Literally our favourite place in the village to spend time as a family. We come to eat and drink. But we get a lot more than this. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I feel sorry for the staff as they are only working with what they have. The company should invest some of the profit they make back into the business. More staff should be on during busy times. The decor is a bit dated and could do with a sprucing up especially as there are more coffee stores opening locally that have a much more modern feel. Again this a company issue not a staff issue. The staff are pleasant, welcoming and very knowledgable. It’s just very sad they get the blame for the limitations pushed onto them by the company - they can only do so much.

One of the best costas I’ve entered! Li and Dani wow.. what an amazing service they have given me and my friends it was amazing! Will definitely be returning. They worked so hard and efficiently couldn’t praise them anymore! Thank you for service!

Served by this larger lady with red hair. Very bad mannered towards my best friend. Wanted to say something but I didn’t. She was not very friendly with me at all! Didn’t like her customer service style at all! That’s why service is 1 star

Very slow service from the server and very unprofessional. She was slagging off and generally complaining about other members of staff and management to the customer in front of myself, very rude indeed. I'd popped in to collect a too good to go bag at about 1530 on Sunday 2nd July.

A wait of 25 minutes for a Mango and Passion fruit cooler to be served by a trainee who was trying his very best, but being unsupervised via a lady who it seemed too much effort to assist him. Clearly short staffed and the lady running it wasn't very friendly and everything was an effort! The Radcliffe on Trent Costa use to be efficient and friendly, but I doubt very much I will go back. My 13 year old daughter has in the past popped in on her way home from school often being given the wrong drink and seems to be charged different prices each time ?!

Milky water, awful coffee. This is what I've come to expect from Costa. Butlers up the road is way better.

In need of a customer service refresher. There was one customer at the counter when I went in who was being served by both the staff. Both of them completely ignored me as I stood there for 3-4 minutes. A third member came through from the back and went behind the counter. She walked straight past me to wash her hands and, once she'd finished, only then was I acknowledged. She was, at that point, friendly and helpful.

Not a great experience. Staff rude cos we wanted to sit in rather than takeaway but never asked me. Slamming things around while serving us. Very unprofessional

Last three times we have been they have not been able to provide the hot drink requested due to problems with water. They need better maintenance.

Nice atmosphere big enough for a wheelchair user. But prices for pensioners are high. Can only use as a treat to get out to see life instead of being stuck indoors 24/7.

I don't like chain coffee houses but to be fair this one is large and serves the village well. It also has disabled access and easy access for pushchairs and large groups. However the majority of the tables are often not cleared, even when there are few customers. It looks a mess and you end up clearing space for yourself. This needs to be addressed.

As far as Costa goes it's a nice branch. Service is always a bit slow and the staff sometimes forget things.

Generally I prefer Starbucks brand because there's more choice for me there but this specific Costa is brilliant! Really modern feel and in a good location. Came here late afternoon yesterday and the staff were really helpful and friendly; the coffees and tea with oat milk were great as well!

Uniquely one of the largest and most impressive Costa outlets in the area by far. Always immacutely clean, great vibe with plenty of outdoor seating and a glazed frontage that is perfect to sit and watch the world to by! All the staff are very attentive and welcoming from the moment you walk into store, the manageress Jay has been instrumental in making her Costa the go to destination for friends, clubs and families alike, making this the destination point hub of the village where people can meet, chat and enjoy (of course) fantastic coffee and fresh quality savouries and cakes... not just food.."M&S food" too! Great work guys keep up the excellent work and being more than just a coffee shop.

Awful. Waited ages for my drink. Loads of staff, but no one taking control adding to the confusion. Could of been solved by allocating a number to the receipt or a name and calling it out when the drink was ready, but no, much better to make a bunch of drinks with no owners and then get angry and make more. Didn't even want to go in, was buying for someone else. Will stick to the independents who care about coffee and customers.

Whole set up seems hard work . waiting to be served then only to be told to select food from a fridge away from counter then cue again to then have said item took of you to be microwave bing .then another person takes payment then another does drink . Then you ask for your food to wait again . really not very efficient .Plus had a better hot chocolate at other outlets and cheaper.So sorry won't use again .

The staff are so friendly here. It's always busy and they always take it in their stride. They obviously have a lovely way with their customers, always a smiling face. Even when they are faced with negativity from impatient customers they maintain their smiling professionalism. Well done team.

Really enjoyed our visit to Radcliffe and stopped by Costa for some coffee and a quick bite to eat. The Batista's were very friendly and efficient.

What a lovely place, great atmosphere and really smashing staff.

The coffee and Lemon muffin were up to standard. What gets this place marked down is the fact that a lot of the tables (9 by my count) have yet to be cleared since I waked in 30+mins ago. I would have preferred to sit in one of the more comfy seats by the window but ended up sitting at the back. Maybe it's a staffing issue: there were 2 staff that I could see. They were not especially busy. Maybe they expect the customers to sort the tables out! You need to up your game.

Draughty, no atmosphere. Hardly any food on show, no bacon rolls available. Very dark and unwelcoming. Will not go to this Cosra again.

Bit of a faff and wait as the bloke in front was faffing with track and trace. The staff insist they see the tick in the app. I don't do the app! I said my friend had done the app outside. can't we just order coffee?

Service with a smile.... Nope. My fault sorry for going to Costa with my own Costa Flask and ordering a Large Latte. Oh sorry I asked for Sugar politely afterwards. Miserable lady with some random totoo on. If you don't want to do the job quit and do everyone a favour. It's clearly putting you out. Shame on you Costa.

Rude staff, run of the mill drab cafe with very little ambiance. I’ll stick to independent cafes in future and keep it local. Won’t be returning.

The attitude of the lady at the till is very inappropriate. She started with an impolite "what do you want"; no greatings , hellow, hi or good afternoon. I could clearly feel she has a problem with my skin colour. Was rather nice to the gentleman standing next to me. Will go to Starbucks, piano or our village humble cat tomorrow. Not to the rude discriminatory atmosphere of Costa again.. thanks very much! :(

After waiting nearly 40 minutes in a queue, myself and 4 family members (one being an 8 month old baby) were guided to a table in the corner by the 'manager'........We spent nearly £24.00 on food and drinks and took our food to the table that the manager had allocated us only to be told by that same manager that we could not sit there!! After questioning that 'manager' he said it was rules, that it was too crowded! If that was the case why did he allow us to sit there in the first place?? So rather than telling us before we waited 40 minutes for an average coffee and food and before we had spent £24, he told us afterwards! So we had no choice but to sit outside........To say that I am disgusted is an understatement, this place needs a proper manager not someone that has no customer service skills at all. I will be making a formal complaint and not returning to this Costa branch. Shame on you Costa Radcliffe on Trent.

Visited Costa today. Was disappointed that the decaf coffee came from a coffee bag, teabag style. What's happened to fresh coffee experience.

To say the service here was terrible would be too kind. Painfully slow! The lad that took my order was slow as molasses. I told the young lad I didn't want cream, and guess what it came with cream! I chalked it up to some miscommunication, so he took back the drink, and just got a spoon an scooped the cream out and handed it back to me! At this moment I knew it was going to be like pulling teeth dealing with someone as inept as this, I went on to explain that I want a NEW drink and he looked at me as if I had done something wrong! This all cracked off while they were a large que and another member of staff literally just messing around doing sod all! I've never had such a bad experience in my life. Actual jesters working there!

Had 2 large americano to take away and they were like nats p**s! When asked for some sugar ( 4 white) and a stirrer we recieved 4 stirrers and a sugar! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ waited for other customers to finish b4 going back to ask for more to keep to the social distancing rules. By the time we got enough sugar the coffee was luke warm and no amount of sugar was saving it! Walked all the way into village just for a coffee as well! Was gutted!

I don't know what it is with this branch of Costa, but both times in one week they have got my order wrong. It's not hard honestly to get a couple of coffees wrong.

I ordered a Salted caramel frostino and asked for no coffee. When arrived, it came with coffee, then after requesting a new one without coffee, said there nothing we can do, and that he made it without any coffee! My friends tried and thought they were wrong too.

Staff friendly. Large popular cafe. It of course follows the Costa menu and decor. Good place to work...but not when the schools are closed=noisy.

Staff friendly even though service was rather slow (one taking orders and another making the drinks). Decaf latte was good. Herbal tea available, too. Busy mid morning with young mums, families with children (school holidays) and people working over laptops. Tables would benefit from being cleared, too.

Always a friendly welcome here. My son is always recognised and greeted warmly. The staff know us on first name terms and the coffee is always fabulous

As we entered and I looked around, I couldn’t help but wonder why it was nearly empty at lunch time. It’s a fair sized Costa coffee shop. We only had drinks while we were there. The person making the drinks was quite slow and to tell the truth, mine wasn’t that hot, I was able to drink it straight away.

Very popular especially after school closure when both scholars and parents with children go to wind down. Usual Costa drinks and menu- nothing special. However Staff are friendly and the place is welcoming.

Friendly staff and nice seating but my Earl gray was too weak and they didn't have any small cups just large coffee cups big enough to hold a teapot of tea.

The serving staff are very good, if slow when it gets busy. It's an ideal drop-in for a coffee serving all the usual coffee shop stuff well. The atmosphere isn't helped by the high, black, pipe-laden ceiling and the hard floor. It's a bit like a warehouse or factory canteen because of it. I agree with the kids comment but that isn't the staff's fault. Will be there regularly but it isn't a patch on the Bingham store.

Service was rather slow considering how few people were waiting. Staff attentive when they got round to it. Coffee (a black Americano) lacked flavour - too much hot water - not enough coffee. Surroundings great. Lots of room.

We regularly go to Costa Coffee in Radcliffe and should have reserved seats given how much we spend there.The Staff are wonderful and extremely hard working, friendly and kind.An elderly gentleman passed Costa and was not going to there but stopped and asked a member of staff to let his dog have some water. The young lady picked up the empty dog dish, took it inside and filled it for the dog. I thanked her for her kindness and the elderly gentleman was delighted. The dog drank and then along with the man, slowly walked up the street.I have been in many Costa Coffees in the Country, but have not found one that is better than Radcliffe's.Well done to all of the staff and for the help they have given to us when we take our young granddaughter with us.

Great staff, very friendly at all times. It's a good sized Costa which always has seating and also a small outside area to the front.

They do a decent chai latte. Here's a tip for you. Bring a large reusable cup and ask for a small chai latte. Chances are they'll fill it up :)

Very expensive. Plus Greggs do better coffee for much cheaper
