The best restaurants in Trent Bridge Rushcliffe East Midlands

There were 2 guys serving. I asked for hot chocolates, one cool because of my little one with me. Not a problem. We sat down. The guys swept up and other children in the room wanted to help and he let them. Absolutely brilliant. The lady sitting next to us was not happy with children and my little one left without being able to gather a smile. Tears. Before I could get to the door, the other staff member checked to see if we were alright. I have not seen such hospitality in the hospitality sector for a long time. Really impressed and thank you guys! Shall definitely feel comfortable coming again with my little one.

Este tiene que ser uno de los lugares más difíciles para reservar una mesa. Queríamos una mesa para cuatro el próximo sábado, así que probé la reserva en línea. Introdujo la cantidad de huéspedes y la hora de inicio de 7 . 30 pero cuando tenías que entrar en tu tiempo de salida tenías que llenar un formulario de solicitud. Lamentablemente nadie nos respondió sobre esto. Intenté llamarlos durante dos días pero nadie contestó el teléfono, solo un mensaje diciendo que la llamada terminará. No es una manera de dirigir un negocio, especialmente en el mercado financiero actual, cuando los restaurantes y pubs simplemente se quejan de los gastos generales. Ahora reservado en otro lugar en su lugar. Despierta o pierde más negocios.

We've never had a disappointing meal here—the quality of both the food and service is always exceptional. Our most recent visit was to surprise my mum for her birthday, and it couldn't have gone better. Despite it being a busy time, Lucy (I believe that was her name) went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were well looked after. It made the celebration feel really special, and we’re so grateful for the extra effort. Highly recommend!

This was my third visit, here. We booked a couple of weeks ahead, as the place gets very busy on Friday nights and over the weekend. Unfortunately, we were allocated a rather pokey table in the corner, so were overlooked by staff a fair bit in the beginning, and had to ask to be brought the cocktail and food menus. However, the cocktails were great (always have been) and the food arrived relatively prompt after ordering. Our staff member, Arron was a delight and definitely made up for the shortfalls earlier in the evening. He made some suggestions as to our order, and seemed very happy to entertain and have a bit of friendly banter. There was a music act later in the evening, which was a nice addition, but proved to be a little loud as the singer was situated so close to our table, hence making conversation tricky. Will definitely be returning again, but most likely on a week night, when quieter.

The restaurant is closed and gutted and does not look as if it will open anytime soon.

I ordered a takeaway 14/ 1 via Just Eat. We normally favour Aziz Khan or curry place at lady bay but on recommendation tried here. When delivery didn’t come called and advised being packed up, waited another full hour! Tried to phone all evening phone being put down, finally given apology busy due to Forest Game??? If the timings were accurate we’d never of ordered in first place. Food was Luke warm, naans incorrect, just about acceptable. When complained was told to re-order and we’ll be looked after. Attempted again on Sunday and spoke to the manager, I had to argue for discount, delivery came and unhappy with all meat chewy bad quality, end result everyone has had a bad stomach. Just warning to others - I don’t feel like I can approach this takeaway again.

Visited for a wedding reception. The Buffet was delicious. Service was good, staff were all helpful and friendly. Car parking isn't very well lit or explained. We read a review about getting a parking ticket so spent 20 minutes faffing about getting one. Only to realise we could just add our car registration at the bar for no fee

Our favourite coffee shop in West Bridgford and an essential stop before a day's cricket at Trent Bridge.

The meal I had here was incredibly enjoyable and the staff were extremely friendly. I believe my servers name was Jose and he made my experience here just that bit better. I got the Niçoise salad which was fabulous and one of the best meals that I’ve had in Nottingham. My friend said that the burger was also good !! The location is great and the outdoor seating is lovely when the sun is out. I can see why this place is so popular.

I dined at Botanist tonight and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. Live music and decor created great atmosphere. Will definitely come back !

Tried this place for breakfast tables were dirty with stains salt and pepper pots were filthy the look of the restaurant from outside was smart and that’s about the only real good thing I have got to say about it. The waitress happened to get our order wrong but she was very apologetic about it she then got the order done again. We were given free drinks, but it was her third day at work overall her mannerism was very good and she was very polite. But these things happen and we told her there’s nothing to worry about. The food was average. The restaurant being in the location it is we had high expectations but sadly did not live up to it.

Arrived 2 hours 45 minutes after ordering. 2 hours late! To top it off the food was lukewarm and poor quality. Cricket didn't finish for another 45 minutes after we placed order for asap delivery. So we ordered within time before they would be too busy. Also, what had happened once before when they had been an issue once their side they canceled it straight away. Which was fine, we knew so we were able to go elsewhere. us regular customers order with u all year round not just once after a match
