The restaurant is one of the best in Nottingham, located at the Riverside with gorgeous views. The food is excellent, the prices are very affordable. The staff is the most welcoming, especially Steve (the manager) is absolutely fabulous. He always makes sure the clients are happy and satisfied with the service provided at the restaurant, making sure everything is at the client's taste. Highly recommended restaurant and services. My favourite 😍

Waterside is an amazing restaurant with a good variety on the menu list. The staff are amazing, and the manager Steve is awesome with a good managerial role to ensure the satisfaction of guests. The riverview seating area is such a beauty. We always look forward to another visit!

Went for food and drink before tonight's match at the City Ground. I can't speak highly enough about the level of service there. All my interactions with the staff were excellent. They really knew their stuff and their recommendations for food were fantastic. I will definitely be going back for another pre-match meal when I can.

The place had a beautiful feel: the staff, the atmosphere and the quality of food and drinks. The tables were nice and cosy and the kind of places that feel great as a pub or a restaurant. Menu was simple but varied and food was so tasty.

Been in here for drinks a few times and I’m always looked after very well. Georgie has always been very attentive and friendly, always got a big smile on her face. The workers seem happy to be here and the manager Steve does a great job making this an enjoyable work environment. Will always recommend this place to my work clients. :)

Not been here in years since it was the Southbank! Really good food and a great place to watch some sport ! The staff were so friendly and even gave us table service as it was so quiet! Definitely a great place to pop I to for a lunch time snack

I had my baby shower at Waterside Bar and Kitchen on Saturday (21/09/24), and everything was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff were incredible. A special shoutout to Shaun, who assisted us on the day—he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Such a stellar member of the team! Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!

One of the staff members was very rude to us on Saturday. We’d been sat for a few hours ordering drinks and watching the football and people starting standing in front of us and blocking the screens when we were clearly watching the TV outside. We very politely asked a staff member if there’s anywhere else people could stand or ask them to move nicely as we could no longer see the Arsenal game on the screen. The staff member (male with blondish hair and we think glasses) was extremely rude and even found it funny that we asked this. Of course we want to sit at our table and watch the screens hence why we’d arrived early!!! Horrendous egotistical rude staff member.

Great bar and restaurant, food and drinks were brill, and very reasonably priced for its location close to the football and cricket ground. Good atmosphere and friendly bar staff, Sean was very helpful and had good knowledge of the beers, he recommended us to try Brixton IPA which was a very good pint. Will definitely be returning.

Waterside makes for a lovely spot by the river Trent at all times of the day . The atmosphere and staff is very nice , and the food/drink is good quality too. There is a pool and darts setup which is maintained well . Altogether it adds up to a great time out.

Friendly staff on entry. Offered a choice of gins when ordering by the bartender Sean. Seating area outside is lovely overlooking the river trent we needed a parasol at our table there was a member of staff clearing tables (Mitchell) he obliged and then asked if we wanted to order any food and recommended the pizzas. All in all a lovely afternoon.

Went with a few friends, I don’t usually leave reviews but this place had a Great atmosphere, the service was impeccable and the food I did have was very nice. 👌🏽

I only really go on match days (Forest supporters only, no away fans permitted)and have done for many years now as conveniently located on Trent Bridge. Can get busy, but service is quick, staff are always great and the food is good.

I went in today before and after the forest match and I was impressed with how clean the place was and how friendly the staff were. The food was lovely and the staff were nothing but energetic and engaging. I definitely recommend if you’re about 😊

We hosted my Mum's surprise 60th birthday in the conservatory venue space at the Waterside. Phoebe, Steve, Shaun and the team pulled out all the stops to help us before and throughout the night for my Mum. The space was brilliant for our party of 40 to 50, well lit, a great feature wall that enhanced our decorations and the terrace overlooking the Trent was perfect too. We ordered food for our party for a group this big, it all came out on time, hot and was so good it was gone in 5 five seconds!!! I wanted to say a huge thanks to the team who made the night so special and my Mum had the best time. As I said, nothing we asked was too much and everything went so smoothly - which was completely down to the staff. If you're looking to host a party or gathering, I would recommend you do so at the Waterside a hundred times over!!!

Lovely pub right next to the river, service was exceptional across all the staff. I do need to give Steve extra credit because he was always checking in to make sure everything was okay. Made the experience just that bit better.

Amazing atmosphere and service! Had my daughters 18th birthday party in the conservatory and everyone had the best time. All the staff were so helpful and asked if we needed any support when setting up and checked in on us throughout to see if we needed anything. We ordered a variety of pizzas and sides which were very delicious and everyone enjoyed, aswell as the wide range or drink selection. Couldn’t recommend enough, service is amazing! I’ve been coming in for over 6 years as a Forest season card holder and never had a bad experience yet. It’s to the point where we’ll even pop down for a bite to eat when at a loose end. The staff are always friendly and accommodating if ever there’s an issue so can really fault the place.

We had a fantastic party for my sister’s birthday. From the moment we entered the pub and had a drink whilst we waited to the end of the evening the staff were extremely attentive. We had some amazing food - nachos and party food and it was great quality. The mini pies were especially enjoyed by husband. A HUGE thank you to Steve and all his team. An amazing afternoon and evening! 😊😊😊

Thank you so much for your wonderful service, it’s one of the busiest days of the year with the cricket and myself my friend and our dogs came in for a drink after a very warm dog walk. All of the staff were amazing came and gave our dogs lots of water and treats and very attentive with them. It’s not often you go to a bar and you feel like all of the staff were amazing thank you

Attended last 4 euro games with friends and family - Steve and Sean and the brilliant bar team were fantastic and made the experience very enjoyable. We have been coming into the pub for last 4 years or so but this has cemented it as a firm favourite.

Gotta be the best bar in Nottingham/Bridgford when the sun's out! Hard to find a single fault the place if you're after relaxed drinks or a bite to eat. Obviously with its proximity to the City Ground, it does get busy when Forest are at home though.

We booked the conservatory for a birthday celebration. we booked only 1 week in advance but that didn’t impact the effort the staff went to . When booking the team emailed all the menus over and asked if there was anything we needed. When arriving the staff couldn’t have been anymore attentive. They offered help putting the room how we wanted , putting music on and opening the bifold onto the beautiful beer garden . They checked in throughout our time there to see if there was anything we needed and constantly collected empty glasses and plates . We ordered pizzas for the party and they were delicious ! Everyone really enjoyed them . We also had little ones with us and they provided high chairs for us. They have such a wide range of drinks with so much good choice . Honestly the perfect venue for a celebration. There isn’t anywhere else I’ve received service like I have here . This isn’t the first time we’ve had a celebration here and won’t be the last !! Thank you so much ☺️

We went to the Waterside last Saturday and can honestly say the food and service was exceptional. The place was clean and the staff very welcoming. We would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for good food with a brilliant atmosphere.

A party of 6 of us tried to get in here after the Take Take that gig at the Forest Ground and because one of our party had pretended to be pregnant 4 hours earlier so that she could use the toilet, the door staff told her she has lied to them and turned us all away. What a pair of tw........ When I asked the younger, smug looking one if he was really going to turn 6 of us away because of something someone had said 4 hours earlier he replied, 'Yeah mate, you picked the wrong company tonight, Tweet about it.' At least the other doorman had the decency to look embarrassed by the others behaviour. I thought that sort of nonsense went out in the 70's. Very poor.

Visited with some friends for some drinks and a quick bite to eat - I had cheesy chips (classic). Great selection of drinks, food was tasty - I will be returning to try something more substantial. Difficult to find a bar that has a free dartboard these days so me and my mates were pleasantly surprised when we came in, especially as there’s a pool table too. This along side the student discount we were offered makes this a more viable option opposed to the other local pubs as I’d rather watch the footy and play some pool. We were served quick, by friendly chatty staff and you could tell they were having a good time too, which added to the atmosphere. Great spot!

Was a quick stop off before driving to work, lovely place warm welcoming by the 2 young guys on. I like a tomato juice and was excited to see they had my favourite brand (Toms) just a shame I couldn't add vodka. The pork belly dish was amazing well presented and tasty. I spoke to Sean before I left, great customer service all round. Highly recommend to visit.

Came tonight to watch the Arsenal game with friends, and was surprised that they were able to show the other game aswell. The atmosphere was great and the staff on were a laugh, we was offered the new student discount card which went down a treat. Good to see the dart board back and some life for a football night. Will be back for the second leg and bring more mates with us.

Came in here for lunch with the family and we received brilliant service from manager Steve and the team. Pizza and burgers were excellent and the staff were very friendly and took time to talk to us and the children. This is a fantastic location with river views and we are planning to return again! Cannot fault anything about our visit and would highly recommend!

Being January me and my girlfriend made up for missed date nights over the Christmas period, we live close but always seen this bar as a sports place for football. We were wrong such a lovely place started with some drinks but got some food aswell, it was quiet mid week January, but was good to relax together. The staff were very friendly and welcoming we will definitely go more. It is a lil gem of a bar.
