Great food good service friendly staff.

Wouldn’t return here. Squid was really greasy. The chips I got on my meal were small crispy bits with no potato filling. The service was shocking. Two tables in the restaurant and we were waiting over 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared and that was only because I got up and asked the waitress for a pudding menu.

I thought the food was meady. and damz brought me cold food. i dont recommend

Lovely Sunday lunch and very attentive staff

We attended on Saturday and loved the place! The food was amazing! Service incredible! And just overall experience really positive! The pork belly was to die for! Also had an antipasti sharer which was amazing! Will defo be coming again!

Pre cricket breakfast, generally quite good, but half the table were missing sausages; but to be fair, they did send out a dish full after we commented. Given that the place was heaving, the service was VERY prompt.

Stopped eating here a while ago as the staff service and food quality has now degraded to nothing more than cafe style standards, still visit the bars during cricket matches as they are very convenient when sitting in the Larwood and Voce stand, though they have now fell to pieces with lack of staff to operate them and beer pumps failing to deliver what used to be very good standards of craft beer, this is a terrible shame as the staff used to take great pride in delivering great service, food and drinks, Forest match day atmosphere becoming less popular which is a great shame.

Caught the second half of the Ireland v England game yesterday with a couple of pints. Great bar, good choice of beer (I had Timothy T Landlord). A star knocked off for me because I could permanently smell the waft of stale bleach from the toilets, and we were sitting in the middle of the bar. Also I found the tables annoying as ours kept moving on the floor when any of us rested our feet on the lower bar; looks like they’ve been screwed down at some point, would be an idea to do it again?

Wanted to visit here for year's Heard such amazing reviews on it and even exceeded my expectations. Delicious Sunday roast Mum had beef rump and I had pork roast. So tasty and well presented. Eton mess to die for. Made even more special by the great and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great choices on the menu excellent portions and definitely will be back. Go on treat yourself your worth it 😁

Obviously very handy for Trent Bridge cricket ground being on one corner of the ground, with an entrance 20 metres away. Cricket themed pub but nice beer garden.

Row B offers great views and Trent Bridge remains quaint and traditional ground

We were going to see Take That at the City Ground, so we called in for lunch beforehand. I expected it to be so busy we wouldn’t get good service, but everything was excellent. The fish and chips were the best I have ever had. The batter was light and crispy, lovely white fish. The chips were like proper chip shop chips. Two of our party had steaks, perfectly cooked with a sauce on the side. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed it.

Very disappointed. Changed a lot since last visited. Visited for Sunday lunch. Food was just ok. But it was empty, no atmosphere and service was not great. Waiters looked like they did not want to be there and pretty sure I saw the chef lick their fingers whilst serving up food! We specifically went for the gluten free menu due to one of us being coeliac. Asked for gluten free option, it came out. We checked again and it wasn’t gluten free. It was clear they then just removed the Yorkshire pudding. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

Early Sunday roads 1230. Food was served quickly, and was delicious. 4 roasts, other choices GF and Kids were all as good as the mains. Free kids ice cream was a nice touch, and a good range of drinks available. Pubs clean and has its own parking. Winner if you are in or around West Bridgford. Reservation was made easily online.

Just called in for a drink. Great atmosphere. Staff very nice. Will have food next time.

I came for lunch on 4th April with a friend. We were both celebrating significant birthdays. I was pleased that the comments had been read from the booking I made and appreciated the good wishes and the glass of Prosecco - which is always a lovely gesture. The service was warm and professional and my friend and I enjoyed the meal. Thanks for a lovely celebratory lunch.

Chose the fish and chips Overall very disappointing. The fish was very average and mostly batter. The mushy peas ok but nothing special but what spoilt it all was the chips. They were tired, dried and looked recooked: the worst I can remember. I was given new chips but when they came the rest of my meal was cold and the new chips furnace hot. All in all not a great experience though I would record that the serving staff were very apologetic. And oh, the smallest jar of tartar sauce ever. Sorry because I like the pub.

Food good, good selection of beers, service friendly but the order got messed up.

'Fish & Chip Friday' was everything we could have wanted (apart from alcohol-free IPA). Beer battered cod as good as you'd expect for any price but corplete bargain for what we paid. Only disappointment was not feeling we had the capacity to do their sticky toffee pudding justice but we saw some on the way to another table & it looked superb so we're considering a return visit & go straight to the pudding... Was pretty quiet when we arrived so having booked a table wouldn't have been necessary but it never hurts does it. Lovely service too so very happy to recommend.

I visited the Larwood on Sunday with my family and had a lovely meal. Our server was named Louisa. She was very welcoming and helpful throughout our time here and always ensured our table was cleared and that we had fresh water and drinks. Really enjoyed the roasts they were very fresh and a great portion size. Would definitely recommend.

Really disappointed as this used to be such a lovely pub. There were several items that were unavailable on the menu when we tried to order them, after we'd finally ordered and Waited 45 minutes the waitress came to tell us that what we had ordered was also......... not available...... Waited over an hour for food (not optimal when you have children waiting around so long) The beef on the Sunday roast was lovely but the rest was expensive for the quality and nothing special. Waitress seemed disinterested and couldn't really care any less. Ordered a coffee, tasted like melted plastic and had to return it, not sure if there was actually any coffee in it. I hate to be a Karen but definitely won't be going back, this place has definitely gone downhill since we last went a few years ago.

Mother’s Day - Sunday 10th march. - Not good. It disappoints me to leave 3 stars for this venue but our visit for Mother’s Day this year wasn’t great! X6 diners, waited around 1 hour for my wife’s starter. The only starter at the table. Then had to wait another 30 mins for our main course after my mother enquired how long this would be. Such a shame as when the Sunday roast arrived it was lovely! Understand they were busy but we weren’t the only table to complain while we were there as other tables were having the same issue. Sure that this was down to shortage in the kitchen, a little nod to us just to inform of waiting time would have helped or just an update. Such a shame as it’s always previously been very good when we have visited!

We had a table booked for 12pm on Mother's Day. Stood around for a bit before a member of staff took us to our table. Our Sunday roasts finally arrived jut after 1pm. Very kindly they ask if you want pink or well done meat but they don't look at the order and send them all out pink!!! The lunch was also like warm to cold, definitely not probed to check the temperature was correct. I sent my lunch back so they could cook the beef through and they did warm the meal up a little but by now the cauliflower cheese was cold. I ate the food because I was hungry. At 1.45 the plates were finally cleared and we were asked if we would like dessert. We said we would look at the menu and when the waitress returned she informed us that our table was booked out at 2pm for more unsuspecting diners. This totally quashed our appetite for dessert. I have never been treated so appealing in a restaurant where the staff appeared more interested in the football rather than their paying customers. The the couple on the table next to us had the nerve to refuse to pay due to the poor standard, just wish we had done the same. The Mcflurry and apple pie at McDonalds was delicious!!

Great local pub with amazing staff. Tom and all the team make everyone feel welcome. Good with kids. Perfect for watching sports in the bar or with family.

Disappointingly terrible for our team Christmas dinner. We spent almost £700 as a team. The calamari was half cooked and reheated, with varying portion sizes which we sent back twice. The trifle had runny custard and the meats (pigs in blankets, pork belly was extremely salty) were cold especially the turkey. We came over dressed because we remember this restaurant as being the place for nice food and atmosphere and I doubt we will ever return. Avoid. There are nicer places to eat in West Bridgford.

I booked a Christmas meal for 18 people. The booking process was simple. Communication very good. The food was delicious and plentiful. Plenty of gluten-free choice, which was important for one member of our party. There was a good selection of real ales and other craft beers. The service was superb and the staff very friendly. I would not hesitate to visit again. Highly recommended.

I am coeliac and ordered a meal after being assured it could be prepared safely, however when the food arrived I was informed it couldn’t be prepared correctly leaving me without a meal while my table was catered for.

Probably the 6th or 7th time we have hosted our end of season dinner and presentation here. Always very well looked after, food and service excellent and a great selection of beers and sprits to choose from.

Although short staffed in the kitchen, your team stepped up and carried on regardless. Not gonna lie just wandered in as was the closest place on Google maps that was honestly the best beef roast I think I’ve ever had absolutely beautiful and staff friendly and welcoming!!

We go here before the Forest games, home fans only, and tickets are checked to get into the car park. There are outside bars and food stalls, as well as the inside bar. As with most bars near football grounds, it gets quite busy, but the service is quick enough. If you stay outside, trying the sausage rolls is a must.

Enjoyed the breakfast, but disappointed that we could get a cup of tea ? If you question the milk, surely you would open a different bottle, a cup of tea in here costs the same as a 4 pint bottle ?

Just spent a good three yours having lunch with two friends and we all had a great time. The service was excellent, the food really, really good and prices very competitive.

Had a really good Sunday lunch here, lovely food and plenty of it. It was quite busy but the service was very quick and friendly. We will be back and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Rather disappointed in the food. Pork belly was 95% fat and tough. Salad was cabbage and fennel. Burger tasted gamey. Menu doesn't specify key ingredients. Place seemed emptier than previous visits suggesting loss of quality.

Popped in at lunch time. Service was friendly and good with no complaints. The food was below average and very poor value. The menu is very overpriced. Will not be back in a hurry.

Very quiet on a grey Thursday lunchtime. But a lovely feel to the place. Clean and tidy. I had a delicious fishfinger sandwich on chunky brown bread and a Diet Coke for £10. Easy parking right outside. I imagine it’s chaos on a test match date!!!

Great value lunch larwood and voce A true Nottingham Gastropub We do like a bargain and at £13 for two course's it's a no brainer. But we had to have the three course £15. We chose Salt & pepper Squid was so tender and cooked perfect. Caesar Salad beautifully presented and quite large. Strangely served with shaved cheddar, they had run out of parmesan. But it was still pleasant. Pork Belly was like a huge sunday dinner portion absolutely delicious and very filling. Braised Beef chilli con carne,was a little dry for us and prefer chilli with mince. Of course we had to have desserts. Sticky toffee sundae was sticky toffee pudding in a glass with thick cream and lovely ice-cream on top. Bramley apple & raspberry turnover. Lovely pub and great food. Pitty they can't sort out their car park. As you can't get a space when theres cricket on. Should have a sign for customers only or something.

Excellent venue. Clean, tidy, great variety of food venues all reasonably priced.

It's a real shame as I like the place but they seem to lie about their services. Behind the bar they say 2 for 1 cocktails everyday 5-7pm but that only applies to their restaurant apparently which isn't said. This is false advertising to their bar area.

One of the reasons that Trent Bridge is one of my favourite test grounds. Lovely, spacious pub just outside the ground with great food - not least at breakfast - and excellent beer, including Timothy Taylor Landlord.

Parking is difficult on a cricket night. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was good and came out pretty quickly for a table of 21. No complaints 🙂

I like the Larwood and Voce. Always a nice atmosphere and friendly service behind the bar. Went in today for a cup of coffee and lunch. They only had dairy milk and I have a lactose intolerance. Shame, as a litre of Soy or Oat Milk in the fridge wouldn’t put them out much. 4 Stars

Had breakfast here with 8 others on a Sunday morning. Excellent choices, great coffee! Friendly and welcoming staff.
