The best restaurants in Nottingham East Midlands

First time I have been but my daughter has dined here before.. Fabulous food , given 4 stars for the atmosphere only because dined early so not as busy. Would highly recommend.

The best kebabs in town with the tasty and delicious meal.

I enjoyed the food, except I received extremely rude and slow service. The atmosphere was very boring and filled with people considered ‘chavs’. I will never return and I hope others will do the same.

Great seafood curry, fabulous service and lovely atmosphere! Perfect place for big groups or small dinners, great value for money.

Almuerzo sin fondo reservado, en primer lugar estábamos sentados justo cerca de la barra, una mesa rodeada de personas de pie bebiendo se sentía tan incómodo. Personas apoyadas en la mesa o pidiendo sentarse en la mesa. Pedimos hamburguesas que estaban demasiado cocidas y no eran muy agradables. Preguntados por mayonesa dijeron que no había. Lo único positivo fueron las bebidas y la camarera era lovley, pero definitivamente pensé que un primer brunch aquí no era agradable en absoluto. Preguntado por el gerente y le dijo que no estaba contento con la mesa, dijo que no había ningún otro lugar para sentarnos. El costo de la experiencia no valió la pena el dinero en absoluto muy decepcionado.

I attended the Beer school with Lawrence as our guide and host. I really enjoyed the session and Lawrence was very informative and provided a very interesting insight into the brewing and tasting of beer. For me this was definitely good value.

The best Indian food I have ever tasted. We have been to this restaurant a few times and it never seems to disappoint. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and everything is spiced correctly too. The Goat on the bone is the best curry I have ever had and I can’t wait to go back. The service is excellent nothing to fault!

Came here for my partners birthday in December, was a little slow on service but despite that it was more than enough. Very welcoming.

This is a great place for girls day out! Food and shopping.

This was our second trip to the restaurant and our expectations were generally met in almost every area. The onion soup was full of flavour. The chicken meal although nice was slightly underwhelming in taste. The 12 oz steak was an absolute highlight ( be warned it is a lot to consume along with the soup). The sticky toffee was nice and as it was my partner's birthday they done a nice job with the sparklers I provided. The resturant was quite full with others using the groupon options. It would have been nice to give my partner a complimentary birthday drink. The champagne in the glass when it was first bought was slightly flat and had to be returned which was slightly disappointing.

Went on a quiet Friday lunch, staff were nice and food was tasty.

A great pub to come to for a chilled out drink. It’s got plenty of seating and has 2 story outside seating so is great for summer. Lots of different ipas and lagas on tap to try too. Would definitely recommend.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon with friends to kick off a birthday celebration around a few of Nottingham's pubs. Personally I’m not a fan of craft beer but it was even more disappointing to get the choice of around 10 pale ales and 2 stouts, nothing at all in the “bitter” department. I did try one IPA and it wasn’t a good experience. Worse however were the prices, which were “craftily” displayed on the board for a 2/3 pint measure, so most were around £4.50 - but that’s almost £7 a pint, crazy prices! It was very busy and a good atmosphere, so not everyone was put off; but for me, I’d never choose to go here again!
