We dined here for an occasion and Cleaver & Wake went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible. I want to extend my thanks especially to Jemimah, who we were particularly impressed with as her service was outstanding. She made us feel very at home there with her warming personality which stood out and saw to any needs we had, including dietary requirements. The food was fantastic - from the complimentary croutons and truffle butter to the basil sorbet. A stand out dish was the pumpkin risotto. We had the Shiraz wine between us, which was very good. All round, a great evening and an excellent fine dining experience - we will be back for more!

Second time leaving with no food. First time closed during advertised opening hours. Second time there were customers in there. Staff were in kitchen but no one serving. Called out but no one came. Left after 10mins.

Last weekend, my wife and I, along with a group of friends, had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bar Gigi, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The first thing that struck us was the ambience - warm, welcoming, and full of character. The décor inside is absolutely stunning, with a fantastic retro vibe, highlighted by a cool Fiat 500 that instantly caught our eye. It really adds a playful yet stylish touch to the restaurant, and it felt like the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The staff at Bar Gigi were incredible - so friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and made to feel right at home. They really went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and even took the time to recommend dishes that ended up being absolute highlights of the night. And oh, the food! I don’t even know where to begin because everything was exceptional. The gnocchi was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted - soft, pillowy, and bursting with flavour. The parmesan pillows were a revelation - so crispy on the outside yet unbelievably fluffy inside. We were all raving about them! The calamari was another standout - perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a light batter that didn’t overwhelm the delicate flavour. Every dish was clearly made with care and attention, and it was all just so satisfying. We left the restaurant feeling full and incredibly happy, already planning our next visit. Bar Gigi is the kind of place you just want to keep coming back to - for the food, the atmosphere, and the brilliant people who make it all happen. It’s safe to say this won’t be our last visit - thank you, Bar Gigi, for such a wonderful evening!

ordered to my address at Birches, Broadgate Park but the order ended up at Derby Hall. I tried to explain that just eat put in the wrong location but I could not convince the driver. The driver then said it was delivered but it has not been delivered.

I travelled 25 minutes each way to collect this takeaway after recommendations and reviews.. WoW what can I say the food was stunning fresh, hot, soo flavoursome I have already recommended to other family a friends it is well worth even if your further away. I will be back again very soon 👊🏻

The Humble Cat provided the catering for my Father's funeral and they went above and beyond what was expected. There were more guests than we thought and Vicky worked so hard to ensure that everyone was served promptly and that there was enough food. The food was wonderful and we had many positive comments. Thank you so much - we would very highly recommend Vicky and Humble Cat team for any catering needs.

The restaurant is unique - it has a Thai ambiance with cool decorations that remind me of my trips in Thailand. It even has tuk tuks inside where you can dine. The service was attentive and they served my food relatively quickly, which surprised me a bit, considering it was a busy time. I had the Peek Gai Tod (southern style Thai deep fried chicken wings) and Pad Ga Prao (stir fried minced pork with basil and rice). The Peek Gai Tod (£6.95) was one of the most crispiest wings I’ve ever had - it came with a mild sweet sauce that complemented with it well. It didn’t have a unique flavour but the crispiness was the best part of it. The Pad Ga Prao (£13.95) was good, however, the rice was a bit dry. The portion wasn’t too small but it wasn’t also too big. It was the right amount for one person - the flavour wasn’t anything extraordinary but it was a classic. It’s fun to dine in - you can enjoy and admire the decorations while you wait. It offers amazing, large options for vegetarians and I gotta say their menu is fairly extensive. It’s worth to stop by if you want Thai food!

We have had another great experience at The Kayal. The service is so friendly and you are always made to feel that your custom is inportant. Mahe, our waitress, is wonderful and we will return. Till the next time. Thank you.

We had the best service and the food was delicious. We had a bit of a wait for our main course but this was spotted before we pointed it out and it was rectified immediately. We would definitely visit again.

If your looking for a place for a big group to meet this is fantastic, we came here for our Christmas Party and it did not disappoint. The food was wonderful and plenty for the set price , every member of the party enjoyed it. We had a few dietary requirements and all we accommodated. The cocktails and drinks were also fantastic. Staff were super helpful attentive and overall a great night had by all THANKS AGAIN

In verband met de verjaardag van mijn partner gekozen voor een een not so average afternoon tea. Deze variant bestond uit allerlei warme en hartige hapjes en werd afgesloten met een heerlijk toetjes assortiment. En we konden hierbij kiezen voor een lekkere cocktail van de kaart. Uiteindelijk hebben we zelf ook nog 2x gekozen voor een andere lekker cocktail. Het personeel was gastvrij en vriendelijk en de locatie kleurrijk, gezellig en warm ingericht. Het is onderdeel van een keten waarbij het waarschijnlijk op avonden in de weekenden erg druk is. Wij waren er op een rustige dinsdagmiddag. Zeker een aanrader en wat anders dan een standaard afternoon tea!
