Have been wanting to come here for years so was pleased to finally make it! Good range of keg lines and great selection of wine! I will be back

Went for some drinks with a friend. Interesting music and people. Highly recommend

The customer service is terrible. The staff are rude, dismissive and at some points even aggressive. Due to the busy evening and the lack of floor space one of my friends slipped and righted himself. A staff member then said “what the f*” and refused him service. After explaining he said “I really don’t care” and turned away from me. Even if the staff were polite- the beer is average but overpriced and the facilities are not in a nice state. I would suggest another pub in the area

This has become one of our regular haunts. Good selection on tap, fair prices, nice atmosphere and staff. Only complaint is that the seating outside goes fast. Highly recommend.

Love love love it here, honestly one of Nottingham's best venues. Bradley is a brilliant host and works super hard, I don't know how he does it. Great bottle menu, great selection of local and almost local fare on the taps. Always interesting natural wines. Immaculate vibes. Dog friendly. Like the outdoor seating, lots of events like jazz, DJs and quizzes on. I think I've been coming here for about 15-20 years and I've seen many iterations of Jam Cafe and this is the coolest. It's really nice to see it still thriving.

Lots of Local Ales, Beers ! If you are a ale or beer lover then this is the place. A place to sit and speak with friends in a relaxable manner. I enjoyed here! Unfortunately food is not an option here. Except packed crisps !

Always a lovely place to visit in Nottingham. I have never had food here, not sure if it does it. Popular music venue with a wide range of artists performing regularly. Varied clientele, all ages and appearances welcome. Room to dance and bistro style seating outside on the walkway. Brad is super enthusiastic and always has a smile for his customers. A wide range of craft and bottled beers, San pellegrino soft drinks and a good selection of spirits. Definitely recommend.

Always a great vibe here. Excellent wine and beer choices, especially of the Belgian persuasion. Intimate live music venue, with delicious coffee. Great for casual hangouts!

Great beer. Staff are super chill. 100% worth it for your next catch up with that mate you haven't talked to in a little longer than you'd like. They do a pretty good pub quiz, music leaning questions.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Have a range of craft beer, lagers and ciders. They have events like music nights, which makes it a great place for a date night. I had a nice craft Neipa which was £11 a pint, but normally about £6 a pint.

Been here a few times over the past 4 or 5 years, enjoyed it every time. Places like this are rare these days, a real honest bar/cafe with (mostly 😉) good music taste. The staff are helpful with any questions and the varied drinks selection has been different every time we've been. Good vibes also ✌🏼

Brilliant pub, incredible music, and staff. All the other customers were friendly. The pub is family-friendly as children are allowed on the premises. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We can't recommend it enough!

Probably the best place in Nottingham. Collaborative in its operation, proper prices, typical drinks and the most friendly and warm atmosphere in the city. From a social-wise perspective, it's a progressive place.

Absolutely love this place. Great vibe, chilled and relaxing and great selection of drinks. BUT!! Come on guys, sort the toilets! Broken seat, hand wash dispenser broken and empty, wet floor, etc. Unkempt toilets say a lot about house management!?

Great music, nice crowd, excellent friendly service, an extensive drinks menu, the outdoor seating feels very continental, you can eat food from the great surrounding restaurants, dog friendly outside which provides more entertainment, brilliant live gigs and it's open pretty late. Like another reviewer, I've recently moved to London. There is nothing like Jamcafe here. I've made a terrible mistake.

Jamcafe has been one of my "go to" places during the pandemic. They've handled the restrictions brilliantly with friendly table service, a good range of beers and great music. No additional fiddly apps or admin, just a quick check in, a clear menu board and attentive staff

Had half an hour to fill before a restaurant booking so stopped in here for a quick drink as a result of their very impressive selection of beers and ciders. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - all the tables were occupied, so he went inside, found a little serving table and some stools and set it up for us outside. Our drinks orders were taken quickly and the drinks arrived similarly quickly. We enjoyed our experience so went back after our meal and again weren't disappointed. Great atmosphere as well with a very alternative crowd and vibe, and meant we ended up having a great conversation with the table next to us and we weren't the only ones doing that. Being able to sit outside in the vibrant bustle of the street definitely enhanced the experience too.

I submit this shocking experience on behalf of my brother, as he does not have access to technology at the moment: I went into town this afternoon for a few birthday beers with a friend. We initially went to Jam Cafe and sat down at a empty table that two friends offered us, as they were just leaving when we arrived. One of the owners (Bradley) then approached us and told us to get up and wait at the sign, which we did without even questioning. He then went over to two young women and sat them at the table he had just asked us to vacate, note - they arrived 10 minutes after us. The table wasn’t reserved or booked and the two younger women were clearly walk in customers exactly as we were. He then asked us to scan in using the track and trace QR code and I told him that I’m unable to do so as I legitimately don’t have a working smart phone. We were not offered a manual check-in option (WHICH IS GOV. REGULATIONS). My circumstance clearly didn’t sit well with him, as he got very aggressive and told us that we need to do what he’s telling us to do and "SCAN IN OR F**K OFF". He then went on to state that "YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SMARTPHONE TO EAR OR DRINK HERE" and "THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE SMART PHONES NEED TO BUY ONE". We didn’t bother to stand there and engage with his rudeness, discrimination and illegal behaviour, instead we just walked away in a state of shock. It was a truly disgusting experience and I hope the owner rectifies his attitude, words and reassesses his understanding of 'customer service' and human decency. I am a social worker that works with people and families who have no access to smart phones or any technology which is commonly known as "digital disadvantage" and they’re currently millions of UK citizens who are suffering because of it. What you’re trying to enforce can only be described as a social discrimination, that has absolutely nothing to do with health and safety in any way. It’s completely inhumane. I’m genuinely disturbed about how we were treated and feel that the best way to prevent this from happening to other people is to communicate my experience - to inform others how this establishment behaves and hopefully find a better place to spend their hard-earned money. Fortunately we were accepted with no issues whatsoever, into a very nice little venue called 31K at the bottom of Hockley, Nottingham. The staff were absolutely charming, gave us options for checking-in and we ended up having a lovely afternoon drinking in the sun. So if anyone is thinking about having a relaxed drink in town then give JamCafe a wide birth and head straight to 31K.

Avoid this place the staff are extremely rude and the food is a very poor quality the drinks of water down the vodka certainly didn’t taste like vodka is watered-down vodka and the rudest service I’ve ever had I’m not be returning to this And I recommend that other people avoid it to the service is absolutely shocking the type of people they employ here is absolutely disgusting if this is how you want to run your business and I think you should just give up now

Rustic but with atmosphere, a kind of "shabby chic" always something Bohemian and unusual to intrigue. On the downside, drinks are expensive with no cordials to add into the drinks. The upside is that it keeps Wspoon customers firmly in Wspoons. Build those thoughts into your expectations and you'll have a fine night.

My friends and I popped in here for a visit to an organised event and were met with the rudest staff member I could ever have had the misfortune to meet. After a faux pas on our part (bringing our own alcohol to a place - as the name suggests and we had not been to before - called a cafe) we were told to rather unkindly “f*ck off and leave”, when trying to reason with a staff member, offering a more than generous compromise (ridding our alcohol and paying recompense for the drinks ordered in lieu), we were still rudely told that we were not - nor would we ever be again - welcome back, as they are “there to make money”. Additionally the facilities are unhygienic and lacking: no soap or toilet roll in either lavatory, graffiti on both cubicles, tables not wiped down, dirty glasses, under poured and over priced drinks, sticky floors, and no hygiene rating displayed.

Lovely bar. Dropped in for the open mic night on a Wednesday. Adam the host (very talented on guitar and wonderful vocalist) was very welcoming. Nice crowd too. I will definitely go back :)

Cosy, colourful, fun cafe with a superb atmosphere. I went on a night when they played some excellent tropical beats from Africa. It was eclectic and uplifting. We danced the night away.

Kinda small but the beers they have on are great and always has an electric and fun atmosphere, one of my favourite locations for a drink in the evening.
