Great brekky. Went in on a mid week morning, it was quiet but had a steady stream of people in and out. Good selection and options and the cakes were lovely too.

Popped in while I was in the area, friendly staff, clean premises, food looked and smelled nice but I can only comment on what I had which was two coffees and two cakes. I'll be back and will come for some proper food next time.

A proper old style cafe serving a good ol fry-up at good prices. Home made cakes etc, could do with a bit of music background but it serves its purpose for me😊👍

The place could do with a lick of paint as the decor is lacking the service was a, little poor, and not very welcoming The breakfast wasn't up to standard everything tasted cheap and not of good quality the sausages were burnt and dried up the egg was all hurt and yolk hard the price you pay for a breakfast to be served cheap products is disgusting the worst is the cheap nasty tasting butter they use I wouldn't recommend this place at all as we've walked out smelling of dirty fat which is all over how cloths they dnt even use hair nets and they have long hair which is flowing everywhere and I wnt recommend this place to anyone

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Me and my friend wen into the cafe on 16/08/2023 and ordered a couple of breakfasts, upon receiving our food, the breakfast didn't look appetising, the egg was badly burnt, the butter on the toast was cheap and rank, the tomatoes were disgusting, the beans tasted funny and rank, too much fat on the bacon 🤢, we came out absolutely stinking of grease aswell and had to take another bath and change clothes

A quaint cafe that is run by two nice ladies close to the ice arena. Providing a range of cooked breakfasts, cobs, sandwiches, panini's and jacket potatoes. I had the special breakfast at £6.15 which is good value compared to other places in the area. The 5 item breakfast is a modest £3.80 for those who want a bite to tide them over. They offer a selection of cakes at the counter which they make in the shop 😊

Lovely hidden gem near the national ice centre, warm, friendly, cosy atmosphere, lovely home cooked cakes, a favourite place to visit and eat after ice skating..

Came here with my family for a quick bite to eat. Though the exterior lacks much character the food and service was lovely. We had a festive cob, cheese & tomato panini, and a full English and everyone was more than satisfied with their meals. Portion sizes were spot on and prices were more than reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

I often get coffee and a cake from Mary’s Kitchen on the way to work and I can’t rate it high enough. The staff are really friendly and quick. There’s always a nice selection of cakes and breakfast options. And best of all - the price is the lowest I’ve ever seen in a coffee shop! February 2021 - The shop is still open for take away during this lockdown (although they have slightly reduced their opening hours and you can’t sit in to eat), everyone is wearing a mask and there is antibac gel for customers to use.

My first visit to Mary’s Kitchen, but certainly won’t be my last! I had the most excellent welcome, and a breakfast fit for a King. Beautiful coffee, served in proper mugs, none of your corporate cardboard here! True family values, locally sourced ingredients and home made scrumptious cakes. The owners welcomed us in, and also do all of the cooking and serving! A stones throw from Nottingham’s Motorpoint, and students - do yourself a favour - from your digs opposite Mary’s Kitchen, walk straight past Costa, Starbucks and Subway, and get some real, home cooked fayre inside you that will last you the day! And at probably less than half the price! Oh, and I notice they do takeaway - so no excuse not to eat properly - ever! There are many choices in Nottingham- but few that care as much as Mary’s.

Food wasn’t of the best quality considering the price. Very expensive for limited food. Poor quality Special breakfast wasn’t at all special. Staff demand the use of masks but are working bare hands, complete double standards especially when handling your food and cutlery. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Ordered a 'deluxe ' breakfast in a tray to takeaway. Not enjoyable whatsoever. 2 over cooked cheap sausages, dripping with grease, 2 fatty streaks of bacon, dripping in grease, an overcooked egg with crust included. Fried bread (an explosion of cold grease in my mouth) cold beans of the lowest quality possible. Wont be using again and wouldn't recommend. Poor

Dos cafés y 3 piezas grandes de pastel para 5. 20! ¡Sería grosero no hacerlo!

Run by two ladies who are very friendly and accommodating. Close to the arena. Had decent breakfast, and returned for Sunday lunch which was fantastic. Asked the ladies to make us takeaway sandwiches for our drive home and they obliged. Straight forward and honest home cooked food.

Came here whilst queueing for a concert across the road. Was greeted by very friendly staff. Ordered a chicken and bacon cob which was cooked fresh, and 3 coffee's. Coffee was lovely and so was the sandwich. Will be visiting again when I'm back in the area :)

First time ordering, recommended by the JustEat Ai when asked for best pizza near me and it was! Great flavour. I recommend the pepperoni pizza. Delivery was earlier than expected but that’s even better⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + I ordered 2 garlic dips as I wasn’t sure how big they are and they gave me 3! So grateful as they were quite small! Thanks

What a gem of a place. Gorgeous cosy place with a great vibe. The food is totally delicious and reasonably priced. Three of us shared a numerous selection of savoury dishes comprising meat, fish, veggie, veg, salad, bread, 2 desserts to share, a beer and a good botte of wine. Very imaginative menu. Came out at £40 per head excluding tip and worth every penny. Can't wait to return, restored our faith in dining out. Superb. Oh, and the dauphinoise potatoes were the best we've ever had.

Debbie Bryan herself explained our crafternoon project, the tools and techniques. Debbie was patient, kind, and easy to chat with, we asked loads of questions and felt confident in what we were doing. Atmosphere was so relaxing and friendly, I didn't want to leave!! The homemade food was out of this world, highly recommend!!! The pieces for sale were stunning and the staff so incredibly helpful, always on-hand, and friendly. Could not fault this fabulous cafe at all! Highly recommend either to drop in for a bite to eat, a cozy date, or gift for a friend. Will be back again!
