Este lugar ha perdido lentamente su brillo desde el cambio de propiedad. Los 2 huevos escalfados (que opté por tener con tocino) estaban mal cocidos. ¿A quién le gusta la clara de huevo? ¡Yuk! He seguido visitando desde el cambio de propietario, pero las ensaladas una vez deliciosas ahora no son más que una pequeña selección de verduras frías con aderezo limitado sin inspiración (tbf el halloumi en sí es generalmente encantador). Sospecho que esta visita será la última.

Wonderful breakfast/Coffee place. My fav is the poached eggs with brown seeded toast. Whoever the chef is, really knows how to cook! The coffee is wonderful and staff is excellent.

Had a full english breakfast which was 6/10. Small in size for the £13/£14 price tag. The fried eggs had that crispy bottom that we all dislike, no one likes a crispy bottom! That being said, ladies that served me were nice and the atmosphere too.

What a nice cafe, great staff, lots of stuff on the menu that looks great and what we had was delicious. The food, while in general was what you might expect, seemed to have a twist with Turkish ingredients that really pop. We'll definitely be back. The cakes were very tasty too.

What a great restaurant - they have fantastic food and coffee! Have been for a lazy Sunday breakfast a couple of times recently and each time have been delighted with their friendly service and excellent food.

Very Nice cafe. Service was slow when we went but the staff were all very nice. We had two of the sandwiches and the loaded fries. The flavours were nice, but I was disappointed with the amount of filling on the loaded fries. Overall it was nice and I would definitely come back again. It was dog friendly.

The Mediterranean breakfast was delicious with authentic flavours! The chai latte was creamy and rich, and the pistachio lime slice was fresh, light and mouthwatering.

Popped in early for a full Crimson breakfast and it was lovely. Only a handful of tables were occupied, tea for two came in a huge teapot, so plenty to drink. The food was very tasty. Back again and the breakfast was still fantastic.

Had a lovely breakfast at The Crimson Tree. I had poached eggs on toast, and my husband had the full english. Service was good and the staff welcoming and friendly.

Came today with my daughters their friend and my mum. We had scones and coffees. The scones were beautiful 😍 and the coffees and tea tasted lovely. The decor is stunning and the staff were lovely. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. Especially that they ask for cash rather than bank card. We need to keep cash going so to see the sign at the tills really made me smile. We will all definitely be coming back and I have already suggested this place to many friends. Thankyou for making our afternoon a lot better than it already was

Proper English and Turkish breakfast. Tea is wonderful and the service is always fantastic. Quiches are quite tasty too. One of the best cafes in town.

Had the most delicious salad and burger. The chips were lovely. Sat outside in the sunshine. Definitely would recommend this place.

Visited for a late lunch after being in the city centre - it’s been in my to do list for a long time after hearing good things. It’s such a pretty venue and with several nearby free car parks clearly signposted, it was easy to get to. I had butternut squash and goats cheese quiche with salad that was full of flavour and lots of unusual salad extras. I chose a mango fruit smoothie which was freshly made and served in a unique vintage bottle - delicious! I couldn’t leave without sampling the cake so opted for the lemon and raspberry cake which was the perfect sweet way to end my leisurely lunch. The staff were really nice too - the tables were full with a mix of those socialising and those enjoying a nice treat while on their laptops. I even tried their Turkish delight sample as I paid my bill and usually I hate that but it was so unusual as it was a pistachio version so more nutty not perfume like - top marks to the waitress for persuading me to try it. A lovely busy cafe that managed to stay peaceful too - I’ll be back

What a great little find We came for a visit to Nottingham as we had a meeting around the corner, and we managed to find this place with great reviews on Google, so we decided to give it a go We were not disappoint This place was decorated well, with plenty of space to inside. We had missed breakfast as it was lunchtime and there was lots of great options . We opted for the quiche of the day with salad which ended up being a butternut squash quiche, which was absolutely lovely and very fresh. The salad was incredible as there was lots of variety. We also had the beef sauerkraut sandwich, which was incredible as well. a yummy, south-western sauce and Lovely bread. We managed to find a little bit of space for a fruit scone, which came with clotted cream and jam. They serve lovely loose tea in a pot. A great little find that I would highly recommend . The staff are lovely, and the toilets are clean .

Very small but adequate menu, food very fresh and tasty. I had halloumi on a bed of salad with roasted peppers and a kind of balsamic-type dressing served on a freshly-baked flatbread. Prices slightly above average but great, friendly service. One thing I would say is it might be difficult to find something on the menu that would be suitable for people with any food allergy. All in all very enjoyable.

Delicious, reasonably priced brunch with a Middle Eastern flair in a gorgeous little cafe with the most beautiful mosaic pillars you've ever seen. The staff are lovely too! Highly recommend.

Lunchtime first visit, warm ambience, lively but could still talk. Good service and friendly. I chose vegan falafel which was very nice. Went with friends before going to the nearby crystal shop. There was a free car park close by.

The breakfast was amazing!! I would say to arrive early if you don't want to wait for a table but I would eat here every morning if I could. £35 for 2 full English Breakfasts, 2 Coffee's and 2 apple juice.

Went for the first time yesterday and I think it's my new favourite place, I had a chai latte with soya milk and a warm Cherry scone, The scone was definitely the best scone I've ever had and I highly recommend it to anyone, I'll definitely go back and try the veggie breakfast, plus the staff were very friendly and very welcoming

This is usually a great place to visit so we go often and cannot fault it. Today the waiter spilt our coffee so we lost half of it. He cleared it up in a fashion but left the table wet with dirty tissue paper in a pile. We asked for a second coffee and waited 20 minutes. When we left we were charged the full price for both coffees. Should have said something I know!!

Tried this restaurant again after a couple of years. So disappointed again. Cleaning costs nothing. The toilets were so smelly hand wash cheap and nasty chandeliers dirty and the waiter was adding toppers to the food with his hands. You do get the feeling they want you out quickly and it was cold.

I had the Mediterranean breakfast which was all very fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would return again if I was in the area!

Went for a rejuvenating late breakfast on a Saturday. Food was fantastic, I had the Mediterranean breakfast and my Maman had the Persian eggs, everything was delicious but they forgot my croissant, luckily once it arrived it was also delicious! I took some lime cake home to share with my Hubs-enter and he was delighted. The food is all freshly made and proper so obviously can take little longer at busy times. I will definitely be back x

Nicely decorated, brilliant service and food. Friendly helpful staff. My mother is disabled and they got a ramp out for her. The only observation is the toilet, it's big enough to get a wheelchair in but there are no rails to help on and off the toilet, so she wasn't able to use it. Dog friendly.

Not been in since it changed ownership, was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I felt it kept the place has kept its identity and the food was fun & tasty (much like it used to be). Will definitely be going again.

Came out for a spontaneous family breakfast and loved it! Super authentic, really welcoming to our 2 year old, everything was fresh and delicious. The coffee was absolutely gorgeous as well! Toddler rated it ‘BEST PORRIDGE EVER’ and my chef boyfriend (stupidly hard to please) was absolutely wowed. we will be back!

I highly recommend this lovely cafe - I had the falafel wrap and my friend had the dirty fries, both dishes tasted absolutely delicious and were presented beautifully too. We initially thought we'd share a bit of the homemade Victoria sponge but it was so nice we ordered another slice! I'll definitely be back :)

Nice little cafe in the corner of the main shopping strip in Sherwood. The atmosphere was great, food was impressive, especially the portion sizes. It's quiet and cute. They offered seating outside for if the weather is nice. Big meals and light bites. All baked items are all baked in house, the scone I ordered was nice and warm.

Quite possibly one of the best places to eat out in Sherwood. Fresh quality food for a decent price! Some of the best coffee in Nottingham and one of the best full English breakfasts you can get in Nottingham. The service was brilliant. Truly feels like a home away from home

We were looking for a good lunch stop between York and Bath and choose this one on the basis of Google Reviews. These can be hit and miss, we've found. In this case though, they were right on the money. What a find! Friendly service and the best coffee and food we've had in the UK. Big call, yes! But we've been here nearly 4 months and been to many many places. The food here is Mediterranean-inspired, with lots of delicious fresh flavours in their not-insubstantial salads. But there are plenty of other options for the less adventurous, like quiches and huge sausage rolls. Plenty of good looking cakes too. The menu doesn't actually do justice to the food. I ordered the quiche of the day and salad and got a huge plateful of vegetables and salad items, beautifully cooked and flavoured, with my fluffy, tasty quiche Enough of my dribbling... Just go!

This on trend boho chic and middle Eastern/Mediterranean style eatery is set on the main Sherwood road , with great public transport links from the city of Nottingham. The decors quirky and eclectic style mix , features up cycled vintage furniture and fixings plus , Moorish style ceramic tiles and vintage ornaments and artwork features which have been created to give a very special atmosphere which all adds up to the crimson tree experience . The crimson tree upon our visit was bustling with a good customer base , that I guess we're regulars , and all were enjoying the food and ambiance of the crimson tree eatery . The food on offer was presented very well and all the pastries I viewed were baked to artisan quality and were good sizes for individual portions . We purchased a sandwich which was plated up with a salad for two and it was top quality fresh bread !! Baked to a very high standard , plus the salad was served with a light oil dressing that complimented it perfectly and was included in the cost in addition to this we also had a hummus and pita bread plus a large glass of merlot and a carafe of chilled water , the cost in total was circa £21 which was reasonable for the quality of food and drink on offer . The wine choice is quite good and varied and should suit most palates and beer and coffee plus soft drinks are available . The crimson tree experience is a very relaxing comfortable vibe and is an ideal place for friends family or perhaps a romantic dinner , please might I add although alcohol is served here it is not a pub experience type venue and is more of a food and drink experience as good food good wine and good company go together !! , that's the crimson tree experience . The staff upon our visit were polite and friendly and helpful with menu choices and keen to make sure our visit was a good one . This was our first to the crimson tree eatery and I'm sure if we're in the area we will return , if you have the chance to visit I'm sure you will enjoy the experience like ourselves . A MUST PLACE VISIT WHILST IN THE SHERWOOD AREA !!

Milkshakes are great - would highly recommend banana! Staff seem hesitant for large groups.

Up in Nottingham for my son’s graduation and looking for a good breakfast and came upon the Crimson Tree on TripAdvisor As we were not staying far away, we walked here and sat outside. I had the Persian eggs and my wife had the cereal. Both were excellent. The coffee and pot of tea were also very good. Not surprisingly, it was very busy but the service was still friendly and professional
