Excellent food and drinks, lovely friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Good prices as well, this place is well worth a visit you won't be disappointed, highly recommended 👍

Fantastic place to relax and meet new people speak Portuguese

There wasn’t any sausage on any of the francesinha’s and it was very cold we had to put it in the oven. Was still tasty but I don’t think you should serve things you don’t have the items for, my boyfriend is Portuguese and it was a surprise for his birthday as he’s been missing the food so was upsetting it wasn’t how it was supposed to be.

Best place in the city for sure,I order from them every weekend. The food is very obviously fresh and tasty. They listen to order notes and get my order exactly right every time which I can't say for 90% of other takeaways! The prices are outrageously good too. Thank you boavista!

This restaurant/cafe is very much equivalent to what in Portugal might be referred to as a 'tasca', a small & cosy, local eatery known by locals & regulars for its consistent quality & friendliness. (For lovers of the Portuguese tart, the nata, theirs are quite delicious & cooked on site & from fresh throughout the day, one batch at a time.) Although somewhat off the beaten touristic track, it's very accessible & easy to find in Hyson Green. The staff are approachable & very accommodating, & regulars include many Portuguese from all around Nottingham & Greater Nottingham because of it's authenticity, & friendly & efficient service. Whether it's for a simple Portuguese-style snack, a proper meal or just for a coffee, this is the place to go in Nottingham. B, from Nottingham, June 2024.

We visited this cozy place in Nottingham and everything about it is very good. The hostess is a very friendly lady from Portugal. We orderd among other things coffees, Francesinha and a couple of starters. I can tell you that it was all very well priced too. Keep it up and can recommend this place.

The place looks like a normal “Cafe” in Portugal, they have normal used portuguese products. We order the francesinha, which was amazing! Awesome cozy space and family kind of portuguese food.

One of the best place to have few drinks in town while you are enjoying the beautiful scenery. Very affordable ,toilets are always clean ,good atmosphire, accessible and good customer service .four stars from me

Bad just bad the quality isn’t good, I had a bacon abd egg sandwich without bacon and the rest was just BAD.

A simple and lovely place. Was looking for “something” Portuguese. But not very high end. The lady always show a smile and is very helpful. Clean and good food.

We left Lincoln to come eat here. A familiar couple told us to come try it out. The service was wonderful, the food was simply amazing. It is very, very worth it!

I have ordered from them previously and the food was somewhat good. Yesterday I ordered Francesinha and the food was bland and the sausage was barely cooked.

Food was early and tasty, as usual by the venue. Very good place to get food from if you want to try Portuguese food for the first time or if you miss the taste of home.

Completely Forgot the bacon! 😡 No sauce or seasoning in the sandwiches. Had to throw away straight away and the chicken tasted wrong but can’t believe they forgot the most important bit the bacon

As nice as the food was 2 helpings of the premium sandwich both stated bacon and egg. Having eaten both there was only egg in the sandwiches, they were lovely but a little disappointed that we didnt get bacon on them as advertised. Delivery time was good. Food was still fairly hot on arrival and the desserts were nice. If you could elaborate why no bacon was placed on these it would be greatly appreciated.

The lady is very nice, the food good and abundant. However my partner's steak was chewy and full of nerves and veins. My chicken and mushroom was very very good tho.

Went for a lunch with my sister. We had fransesinha and it was delicious, really hot with an amazing portion of piping hot french fries! I chose a few cakes to take home and they come well packed and in a bag ready for me when I finished luch. I also got some just out of the oven pastel de nata. They where vere friendly and polite, ill definitely will go for food again. Thank you

Coffee was excellent but the English breakfast not good. The eggs were obviously fried in vegetable oil and the beans were cold!

We been in this place for a birthday party and the food was delicious, the staff were fantastic and the location small and simple that you feel like you are at home. Definitely we will go again and I would recommend it.

A true example of Portuguese cooking. Being Portuguese living in England, I have struggled to find some decent Portuguese food with great, friendly service until I found this charming little place in Hyson Green.

Very good service, cheap and the food is delicious (if you like coriander and garlic, this is the right place). The place is small, totally informal, and there are two big schermes to follow Portuguese matches, of course in Portuguese lenguage.

Llegó a almorzar justo antes de Navidad. Tenía un filete encantador con patatas fritas, ensalada y arroz y estaba delicioso. Lave con un par de mitades de cerveza portuguesa Sagres también. Un sabor de Portugal en Nottingham! Las damas que lo manejan son muy amables y había un verdadero sentimiento familiar sobre el lugar. 5 estrellas.

Great £6 breakfast including (what they quite fairly claim on the shopfront) the Best Coffee in Town. Shows football, serves Portuguese food/beer and has such a friendly atmosphere. Real great community cafe, best in Forest Fields.
