Amazing service and food friendly staff

Very poor for me. I've been there several times, but the restaurant doesn't appeal to me. The piece of fish is tiny and dry and the asparagus is overcooked. The pork chop is also dry... there's something wrong every time. It's not cheap there and the service and behavior of the owner leave much to be desired. We asked for a box to pack takeaway food and they said they didn't have it. Very interesting because they have food delivered. I don't recommend it

Booked for my birthday to take my husband's family to experience Polish food. The service was fantastic! Food was great! It might be a tradition to come every year, at least.

The food was excellent. We had a traditional polish cuisine that was cooked to perfection. We were served quickly and with the smile, which is always welcome.

Lovely premises, great food, a friendly knowledgeable staff , stylish decor, tasteful music - and a fantastic price. Importantly, dishes you won’t find elsewhere such as a quality tartare. Also the crystalware is very fine, perfect for a gin and tonic .

I highly do not recommend it. The pork chop is absolutely terrible. 0 meat, only breadcrumbs with fat! The Silesian dumplings weren't even next to the dumplings, to be honest. Total crap, even the salads were lame... at the very end we ordered a kebab because we were just hungry... the bun was burnt, the meat was hard, certainly not today's, the taste was papery. It was amazing how bad the food was.

The driver collected the food and went completely opposite way, stopped for a long time to do his business instead of delivering the food!

Very pleasant atmosphere but very small selection of Polish dishes. The pork chop had no spices at all and all the breading was peeling off the cutlet, the potatoes were not salted at all. I also don't understand adding kale as an addition, because I doubt many people like it. I completely missed the taste of traditional Polish cuisine. I doubt we will come a second time

The restaurant is great for private events I’ve attended few events in this place and I can certainly say everything was organised in a professional way and the food was delicious.

We had a wonderful Saturday dinner at your restaurant with our family. The three-course meal was a delightful experience! The soup was delicious, and the chicken in sauce, potatoes, and cabbage salad were simply outstanding. The cherry dessert with cream on top was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. This place is really great! I have to say, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. We had a 3 course meal each, with a couple of cocktails/beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide cocktails and wonderful desserts. Service was delightful and very professional. I recommend to everyone!

Lovely polish cuisine. The menu offers a great variety of foods with a modern take on the traditional polish dishes. Mouthwatering desserts like the classic apple cake that tastes just like at grandams. Staff are always very welcoming and the service is exceptional. The prices at bread and wine are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend for a family meal or a date as the atmosphere is perfect for both. The drinks menu is very refreshing, from creative cocktails to delicious wines and beers which are worth trying. Furthermore, it’s great place to throw parties and events. I had my Gender reveal party and baby shower at the venue. Everything from food, to drink and decorations was perfect. Definitely 10/10.

Niestety nie polecam tej restauracji. Zorganizowaliśmy pierwszą komunię naszego syna, łącznie 14 gości. Zaczynając od totalnej ignorancji, lekceważenia klienta, po fatalne jedzenie. Wielokrotnie trzeba było dzwonić do lokalu, w sprawie dekoracji komunijnych, za każdym razem mówiono, że ktoś oddzwoni popołudniu, niestety - nie oddzwaniano. Dopiero kilka dni przed przyjęciem, po kolejnym telefonie uzyskałam odpowiedź. Bałagan, ignorancja i nieprofesjonalizm to mało powiedziane. Odnośnie samego przyjęcia - Przystawki w restauracji zawsze wychodzą pierwsze, ku naszemu zaskoczeniu, ledwo zdążyliśmy usiąść przy stole, już podano zupę, zaraz potem drugie danie, a przystawek brak. Musiałam podejść i zapytać o przystawki, na co właścicielka stwierdziła, że przystawki wyjdą po deserze. Na pytanie dlaczego, stwierdziła, że przy takiej temperaturze nie chcieli wystawiać na stół wcześniej, (3 deski przystawek i 3 sałatki można było przecież wystawić zaraz po przyjściu gości, tym bardziej, że lokal jest z klimatyzacją) Był również zamówiony dodatkowo tatar dla dwóch osób, goście go nie otrzymali i finalnie z niego zrezygnowali, ponieważ kto chciałby zjeść tatara (starter) po deserze? Zupa - Rosół na kostce rosołowej z zabójczą ilością Magii. Danie główne - medaliony z polędwicy wieprzowej w sosie borowikowym, z kluskami śląskimi i surówkami - pomijając smak, a raczej jego brak, polędwice były jak zelówki, niejadalne. Nie dało się ich ani pokroić ani przeżuć. Surówki nieświeże, szczególnie ta z białej kapusty, a kluski miały więcej mąki niż ziemniaków. Kelnerzy zbierali pełne talerze. Wyglądało to tak, jakby podali resztki z wesela, które było poprzedniego wieczora. Do tego goście którzy mieli zamówione danie wege, czekali dobre 10 minut dłużej, ponieważ kuchnia nie umiała zgrać wydawki. Była to bardzo niekomfortowa sytuacja. Przy konfrontacji z właścicielką uzyskałam odpowiedź, że jedna świna może być stara, inna młoda i to nie od niej zależy. Niestety każdy wie, że polędwica jest delikatnym mięsem i dobrze przygotowana 'rozpływa się w ustach'. Idąc za tokiem myślenia właścicielki, dziwnym trafem wszyscy nasi goście, trafili na "starą świnię". Niestety po tym doświadczeniu kulinarnym żaden z naszych gości nie miał ochoty ani na sernik, ani na przystawki, więc zdecydowaliśmy zakończyć przyjęcie, a sernik zabraliśmy do domu razem z przystawkami. Podsumowując - idą na ilość, a nie na jakość. Przestali dbać o klientów.

Went on a quiet Thursday and was blown away! The food is amazing, fresh quality and it’s not a long wait at all. The location is also beautiful and has a very modern setting. Definitely recommend!

I can't comment on the food but I went to a private northern soul night in the function room. If they want to run private functions in the lovely room they really need to sort out how to run a bar. The wait was between 20 and 45 minutes every time and then run out of beer

Excellent Traditional Polish and East European food on your doorstep, very friendly staff. A must visit, you could easily be in Krakow or Gdańsk eating this gorgeous food.

Just been here for New Year's Eve. The food was very good and the DJ was excellent but above all the atmosphere was amazing. Very well organised and plenty of helpful, friendly staff on hand. Probably one of the best New Year's Eve parties I have ever been too. Worth every penny. 10/10.

What a fantastic Polish restaurant this is. If we could I am sure we would give it 10 out of 5. The ambience & the decor was beautiful, the food was truly amazing. The service could not have been bettered. Our lovely young gentleman was attentive helpful & so friendly, he did everything to make our night feel special. The food was outstanding, my partner had special Polish pork pate to start , I had Polish bolete mushrooms with Truffle oil. My partners main was 24 hour slow cooked pork with beetroot dumplings which were amazing so tasty stuffed with such herbs & goodies, with crispy bacon Kale. I had the Atlantic cod fillet with saffron sauce asparagus & mussels. All was exceptional quality & cooked to perfection. We had our photograph taken near the gorgeous Christmas tree. Our 1st visit here but certainly not our last.

Lovely experience - pleasant atmosphere, attentive and friendly service. Food was top-notch, with a lot of attention to flavour, balance and presentation. Good number of options available for all comers. And when the time came to settle up I was very surprised how reasonably priced everything was! I can't fairly review as I went to pop in today (Wednesday) at 6pm but the place was shut. The opening times outside said they were open (Google too) - so I'm disappointed there wasn't any signage to explain why they were shut. Happy to fairly review once we can work out when they're open :)

I really love this place, only one things?! its quiet cold with decorations inside less familiar,maybe additive or carpet?! Food is outstanding,menu for international customers,great idea with meal of the day. I'll be back anytime when come to UK

It was our first visit to this resturant and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely lovely and cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. The menu's are in English that have a wide variety of dishes and drinks to choose from. We have been to Ania's in Sherwood, but this beats it by a mile. We will certainly be returning to this establishment.

Odwiedziliśmy to miejsce zachęceni dobrymi opiniami, ale niestety poczuliśmy się rozczarowani. Zamówiliśmy pierwsze i drugie danie. Rosól był naprawdę dobry, ale drugie danie bardzo nas rozczarowało. Mieliśmy wrażenie, że dostaliśmy niewłaściwe danie, ponieważ zamówiliśmy „pierś z kurczaka bez kości z chrupiącą skórką ("bonesless chicken breast with crispy skin"), ale w zamian dostaliśmy gotowanego kurczaka z kością, bez zadnych przypraw ze skórą, która nie miała absolutnie nic wspólnego z bycia chrupiącą. Czujemy się rozczarowani, ponieważ menu wprowadza w błąd. Szkoda, że ​​nasza pierwsza wizyta pozostawiła duży niesmak i niestety nie wrócimy wiecej.

I’ve visited this place many times and I have to say it’s an amazing place. The atmosphere is just lovely. Everyone is nice, helpful and very professional . And most importantly the food is insanely delicious. Every single meal that I’ve tried is unique and full of flavours. Original and very colourful drinks and all of this reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant

It's a hidden gem. Went for date night with mrs, it was wonderful. Mrs really like the environment and the interior and the music. Staffs were so lovely and food was amazing. everywhere u can feel the personal touch, not like other corporate restaurant. deff will return soon.

Lunch @bread_and_wine_nottingham New restaurant Sherwood rise. A new independent restaurant serving predominantly traditional Polish cuisine but with an extra multi european twist. Located in the community centre next to the church. They have not been long opened so decided to try it. Everything is brand new and spotlessly clean,and really nicely decorated. We were enticed by their daily lunch offer of soup and main course for just £12.95 Which was an Asparagus soup. It looked like a cream soup when it was served.But as soon as you put your spoon in,it was full of vegetables and very tasty. Main course was chicken in breadcrumbs with mashed potatoes and a really nice salad of cucumber and sour cream. Of course we had to try something from the main menu. We chose Mushrooms on toast £5.50 For main what they call Sea Treasure. Cod fillet, new potatoes, asparagus, Mussels with saffron cream sauce £15.95. This was very nice indeed. It's very good value especially the lunch offer that changes daily. We had the added bonus that they were doing an extra 10% off for bank holiday. If your looking for somewhere different to try that's good value ,new with lovely friendly people maybe give here a try. Review helpful like 👍 follow thanks

We had an amazing dinner at this newly open restaurant. We live just outside Lincoln but the drive is so worth it. Let’s start with food, which is just delicious! You can taste all the passion and love that goes in making that wonderful food. And let’s not forget about cocktails, which are really good, especially the ones which the bartender invented himself. Overall this place offers not just fantastic food and drinks but warm and welcoming atmosphere, to make the experience even more special. Thank you! We will be back soon!

Great food! We went there for a family dinner 6 people. Our friends told us about this place. My wife said she ate best duck in her life, my father best steak and my mom loved the soup. I ordered chicken as I am a chicken lover... it came with two pieces in gold breaded coat... potatoes and a salad.. yummy... it was delicious.... But the wine completed the whole meals... I don't know the name , but it costs 7.95 per glass... so delicious. Overall I give 5 stars for the taste. Great place. Definitely will come back shortly.
