This place is a real gem! The service is top-notch – polite, smiling and very helpful. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned dishes and beautifully presented. Every bite was pure pleasure! There is something for everyone on the menu and the quality of the dishes definitely exceeds expectations. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and elegant at the same time – perfect for both a romantic dinner and a meeting with friends. I recommend it wholeheartedly and I will definitely come back!

Last minute booking and they squeezed us in, served by the wonderful Daniel who is very friendly and funny! The menu had great choice (was hard to decide what to get), we had the kebab (garlic sauce was best we’ve ever had) and the dirty dumplings, both dishes tasted amazing. Very big portions and excellent value for money.

A word will not speak, a pen will not describe how delicious food can be eaten in this restaurant. I have no words to describe the atmosphere, the very friendly service. I will certainly come back here again

Love this place. The food is delicious, all home-made, great portions, affordable drinks and super friendly. It’s one of the few places in Nottingham to get a true tartare - and a pork shank so big you could knock a wall down with it. The meal of the day offer varies daily and is amazing value.

I’ve been ordering food from this place for a while and always loved it, but today was the first time I brought some friends along to dine in—and what a fantastic experience it was! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and truly wonderful staff. The food was just as amazing as I’d hoped. We had a great time chatting and joking with our waiter, who made the experience even more enjoyable with his brilliant banter. The homemade soup was absolutely divine, and the Tatar beefsteak was a standout—rich in flavour and perfectly prepared. I did miss a touch of garlic with the Tatar, and a hint of oregano and paprika would’ve taken it to the next level, but it was still delicious. I also had the pork schnitzel, which was perfectly crispy and packed with flavour. I’m not usually a fan of cheesecake, but I took our waiter’s recommendation—and I’m so glad I did! It was unexpectedly delightful and a perfect end to the meal. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Can’t wait to come back!

It's one of the worst kebabs I've ever had, unfortunately. Meat was dry, a lot of cabbage and overall just bad kebab.. never again.

This is a Polish cuisine restaurant, so if you’re looking to experience authentic Central & Eastern European flavors. Tried this lovely little local restaurant for the first time and was really impressed. You can tell the owners have put their hearts into it – the food was full of flavour and the service was amazing. It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine. I had never heard of the restaurant before being given gift vouchers for Christmas. Well I was very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is mainly Polish cuisine and I was happily surprised by their meal selection and would definitely say it is a hidden gem and a must try. So we have only been once but will definitely be going back again. The venue is like a TARDIS far bigger inside than how it appears outside and the toilets are exemplary in my book a good sign on how good a restaurant is run by all it's staff. Graham

We organized a party for our son's baptism at the Bread & Wine Restaurant. The food was delicious and no one left hungry:) The gentleman who served us was very cordial, helpful and had a professional approach to the customer. Even if one of the guests is a vegetarian, there was no problem with ordering a dish without meat. I heard from friends that you can organize a party cheaper in other places, even English restaurants. It may be cheaper, but this is the only restaurant in Nottingham that will provide beautiful decor tailored to the customer and such a sublime celebration. No other restaurant has the "atmosphere of a Polish-style Baptism/Communion". 7 years ago we went to an "ordinary" restaurant to celebrate the baptism of our older child. We didn't feel special there in any way. in fact... as if it were a regular way to go out for dinner. at Bread & Wine the table decoration was absolutely beautiful! Our guests were impressed. Every detail on the table made us feel special. Right next door, the English celebrated their 50th birthday. Happy Birthday was sung, there was cake and balloons, and they also looked very happy. The Bread & Weine restaurant prepares parties at a very high level and to an "outstanding" standard. We will be happy to return there soon to celebrate Holy Communion. our child.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and elegant - perfect for such an important occasion. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish, from appetizers to desserts, was carefully prepared and full of flavor. We were particularly delighted with the fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation of the dishes. Our guests were impressed by both the quality and diversity of the menu. Thank you to the entire Bread and Wine team for making this day unforgettable. Lovely restaurant. The staff always kind and helpful. Soups are better than I ever had in Poland, and I dare to say they are better than my moms!(good she won't read that) All the meals we tried so far were delicious. I always leave this place with smile on my face :)

Very poor for me. I've been there several times, but the restaurant doesn't appeal to me. The piece of fish is tiny and dry and the asparagus is overcooked. The pork chop is also dry... there's something wrong every time. It's not cheap there and the service and behavior of the owner leave much to be desired. We asked for a box to pack takeaway food and they said they didn't have it. Very interesting because they have food delivered. I don't recommend it

The food was excellent. We had a traditional polish cuisine that was cooked to perfection. We were served quickly and with the smile, which is always welcome.

Lovely premises, great food, a friendly knowledgeable staff , stylish decor, tasteful music - and a fantastic price. Importantly, dishes you won’t find elsewhere such as a quality tartare. Also the crystalware is very fine, perfect for a gin and tonic .

I highly do not recommend it. The pork chop is absolutely terrible. 0 meat, only breadcrumbs with fat! The Silesian dumplings weren't even next to the dumplings, to be honest. Total crap, even the salads were lame... at the very end we ordered a kebab because we were just hungry... the bun was burnt, the meat was hard, certainly not today's, the taste was papery. It was amazing how bad the food was.

The driver collected the food and went completely opposite way, stopped for a long time to do his business instead of delivering the food!

The Service was Rapid and Quick, in just a matter of minutes I got my food. The food is 5-star top quality and the Atmosphere is pleasant. The Staff are very friendly. Thank you so much 🇵🇱❤️

Very pleasant atmosphere but very small selection of Polish dishes. The pork chop had no spices at all and all the breading was peeling off the cutlet, the potatoes were not salted at all. I also don't understand adding kale as an addition, because I doubt many people like it. I completely missed the taste of traditional Polish cuisine. I doubt we will come a second time

This place is really great! I have to say, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. We had a 3 course meal each, with a couple of cocktails/beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide cocktails and wonderful desserts. Service was delightful and very professional. I recommend to everyone!

Lovely polish cuisine. The menu offers a great variety of foods with a modern take on the traditional polish dishes. Mouthwatering desserts like the classic apple cake that tastes just like at grandams. Staff are always very welcoming and the service is exceptional. The prices at bread and wine are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend for a family meal or a date as the atmosphere is perfect for both. The drinks menu is very refreshing, from creative cocktails to delicious wines and beers which are worth trying. Furthermore, it’s great place to throw parties and events. I had my Gender reveal party and baby shower at the venue. Everything from food, to drink and decorations was perfect. Definitely 10/10.

I was at a business conference that was hosted by the restaurant. And let me tell you - they should get an award for being an exceptional host! The attention to details was amazing, never run out of water, juice or tea /coffee for the attendees. The desserts were out of this world - not too heavy, but so tasty. And there was a specially prepared menu just for the conference. I ordered chicken salad that was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you are looking for a lovely place to eat, or if you are looking for a place in Nottingham to organise an event that will truly wow your guests. Amazing place!
