Delicious authentic Polish food! The goulash soup warmed my soul, pierogis were perfectly cooked with tasty potato and meat filling, and the gołąbki was just like grandma's. Everything tasted homemade. Great portions and fair prices - a true Polish gem.

Had a wonderful evening yesterday at Ania. This is the first time I have been and won't be the last! Every dish that our table ordered was delicious! Everyone was trying a bit of everyone else's food because they wanted to share how amazing it tasted. The portions are huge and definitely very hearty! The service was great and very attentive. I am a coeliac and was told which dishes were safe for me and they made sure that my dish was prepared safely. I will be making sure everyone I know in the area pays Ania a visit to enjoy a lovely cuisine!

Very cute and classy restaurant. The perogis were amazing and the restaurant was full of people enjoying their time. The Pork cutlet and veggies was excellent. Food came out hot and very fresh. Coffee was delicious. Very reasonable prices too.

I just enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Ania, on a whim as I was about to walk by. The food was exactly like home made. I had the chicken breast in herb breadcrumbs and a garlic bread with a side of peppercorn sauce. The schnitzel was tender and flavourful. The garlic bread crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. Delicious. The meal came with broccoli, carrots, potatoes, salad, coleslaw and pickled beetroot. All this for under £20. Incredible. I’d highly recommend anyone to go for a meal. It’s absolutely delicious. I’ll be back!

Really lovely staff, food is AMAZING and portion sizes are huuuuuuge. Throughly recommend for the quality and tastiness of the food, I had to roll home after because of how rotund and happy I was! Decorations of the room are a bit bland, white walls with a handful of random flower prints as decorations. The temperature of the room would be absolutely lovely in the depths of a blizzard too however when I visited we were all sweating when eating our meals. Maybe if they install a cold shower and a massage table out the back this would enhance the appeal and turn it in to a sauna and meal experience day package. Very lovely, will definitely be back for sure only next time I’ll be wearing shorts and a T-shirt!

The enduring popularity of Ania’s is quite simple. Great food and generous portions at great prices delivered with great service. The menu doesn’t change much but everything on the menu is a crowd pleaser. It’s not fancy, just down to earth, well-cooked tasty food that won’t disappoint or leave you feeling hungry when you leave. The ambience is always genuinely friendly as reflected by the fact that many of the diners come back time and again.

Love Ania's. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. It's one of our favourite places to go, and it's super affordable with traditional Polish food which is so moreish and you leave feeling warm and fuzzy,

Lovely fresh and tasty food. I was expecting to experience more of a polish atmosphere. Perhaps some Polish music playing in the background and some Polish folk art work on the walls would improve the atmosphere.

Great little restaurant. Very autentic, they cook with dedication for sure, the food was fresh and made with love. The portions are good, service was very polite and kind. I hope they will have more and more guests. Altough, the polish gastronomy is not my favourite, I respect that this is their style but ingredients and flavours just don't really match for me sometimes, but it is just question of taste. Otherwise spot on. I am sure they will improve very fast.

A wonderful restaurant run by wonderful people. I've been dining here for a few years now and never have a bad meal. Anias serves comforting home cooked food with no frills. It is very good value too.

If you want a large plate full of space with a centrally placed blob of something topped with samphire or some other trendy vegetation and a drizzle of 'jus' this is not the restaurant for you. If, on the other hand, you like to leave fully sated after enjoying a plate full of wholesome, generously proportioned, home type cooking, then dine here. We attended as a party of five for a birthday celebration and enjoyed every dish. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, redolent of those european wayside family run cafes and has an ambience free of hubbub, clatter and loud music, in which to enjoy conversation without having to project your voice or strain to hear. The atmosphere is refined and relaxed. We left fully satisfied - each complimenting the food and service which, to complete a perfect dining experience, came at a very reasonable price. Nothing pretentious just good honest service and excellent food. Five stars from us.

Absolutely outstanding in every way

This is by far the best polish restaurant in the UK. We travel for over an hour to visit a few times a year and get takeaway for the following day... Best pierogi around. 😀 Thank you Ania and team. X

Great restaurant! Owner and her daughter always make everyone feel welcomed. Hard to book, as this place is always fully booked so book in advance for better availability. Selection of food is really great, there is option for everyone including vegetarians. Car park is just around the corner and it’s free, 2 mins walk from restaurant. Highly recommend.

Tonight was the 2nd time me and my partner have been to Ania's and it is the 2nd time we have had a phenomenal meal! The Pierogi are delicious and the beef roulade for main amazing! If you go here make sure you save room for the cheesecake!!

First time at Ania's and we were apprehensive. I can't have had a better meal. They managed to make amazing food from unremarkable sounding ingredients. The portions are very generous and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Will Deffo be trying many more dishes with much more respect in future. 5 *

Fabulous food, great service, reasonable price - We went with friends to Ania’s . It’s been a couple of years since I was there. It’s as good as ever. The karkowka ( pork shoulder) was very good indeed. Decent choice of beers and wines, cherry vodka liqueurs to finish off. What’s not to like?

Wow, what can I say? My first time at a Polish restaurant which was reccommended by one of my accompanying friends Liz. What a recommendation it was. I had the beef roulade with the mushroom sauce, chips and vegetables. It was to die for the Perogis were fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the staff were brilliant and the kitchen team smashed it out of the park. I will deffinately be back.

First time at a Polish restaurant but not my last. Tasty,excellent service,clean and fantastic value for money. 1800 early doors on a Wednesday and in half an hour the place was nearly full,that tells the story in itself,definitely a regular spot for me now.

Still our favourite Notts restaurant

By arrangement the restaurant catered for 32 of us. All spoke highly of their various dishes. I tried Chicken in mushroom & cream sauce - excellent. I adjusted my English pallet to the cinnamon in the Polish apple tart. Staff were understandably busy, but were welcoming and efficient. [One suggestion to the management - why not have Polish pictures, posters, maps and artistry displayed?]

Great place for lunch on a Sunday. Food was excellent and the service was good. Not a huge menu but plenty of choice as long as you like mushrooms.

Absolutely fantastic (as always). There were 16 of us for a 60th birthday celebration. We had pre-ordered the food, which was beautifully presented, home cooked & hot. Great atmosphere. Finished off with the traditional medicine, (vodka shots). Fabulous evening.

Traditional Polish Food at its best. Great variety on the Menu and very reasonably priced. Went with Polish friends who visit it regularly. Pity it is so far away from where we live. It is great to get a plate of food that is satisfying and wholesome.

Food is superb and value for money. Tastes like home cooking with love. You can’t go wrong with the main dishes, but you have to order the pierogi with the creamy sour cream (smetana). I also highly recommend the Borscht (beetroot soup)

We visited this restaurant whilst staying in Nottingham. The food and service was faultless. Proper authentic polish home cooked cuisine. The staff we absolutely delightful and welcoming. My wife is polish and I am English. I would highly recommend more English people to try this food. It is so tasty and fresh. When presented with the bill I felt the amount due did not represent the value that it deserved so added £20 to it. Even that to be fair was undervaluing it. This restaurant is a must visit. Thank you to the team.

We visited Ania's today for the first time for a quick lunch. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent! There is good choice on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes were large, which is great if you're very hungry. We would definitely visit again!

A real gem of a place. The menu appeared full of authentic polish dishes. Between our group, we had chicken, beef and pork dishes. All superb, and with a wonderful serving of fresh vegetables. The alcohol was very reasonably priced and the service was friendly. Will definitely return!

Fabulous food at reasonable prices (superb value midweek). The Sleidze starter is a work of art...and fabulous, followed by Kura ( Chicken in a creamy Mushroom sauce)... even a vegetarian might be tempted?

Aparently a nice place to eat, at least that was our first impressions. Some of the food is ok as the beetroot soup, tasty, very nice prepared, but all the othed dishes with meat, the goulash, pork shoulder or pork loin have similar sausces that are lacking of flavour as they cook the meat separately, practically there are some roasts with sausce, not stews... The schnitzel is crispy on one side and soggy on the other one ... quite disappointing. Overall, ok for an average home cooking, and the worst is that we felt sick all night after we ate there last time. The restaurant is quite small and very bad ventilated, with a damp smell... no ventilation, no aircon... The bar looks like a garage shelf where they dump all kind of stuff. Also, there is no parking👎 They have some potential, but they have to start restaurant dishes, not home cooking or canteen level.
