The best restaurants in Bridge Nottingham East Midlands

Visited this venue on April 13th 2025 with my grandson. At the end of our meal whilst waiting for dessert, a waitress came over to our table and left a note next to my grandson and walked away. The note had her mobile number and stated for him to message her if he doesn't have a girlfriend. My grandson is 14 years old!!! I have never encountered such slack and unprofessional behaviour. I asked to see a manager but was told no manager was working that day and only a young lady was running the restaurant. I showed the lady in charge the note and she was shocked, I was absolutely fuming. The young lady did apologise for her colleagues behaviour. We cancelled the dessert, as we both felt extremely uncomfortable. I paid the bill and we both promptly left. Is that staff member there to work or to look for young boys?? She completely spoilt our dining experience. I would upload a picture of the note that she left, but it contains her mobile number which I wouldn't want to be exposed online. I will also add that the food really was very nice.

An enjoyable charcuterie board with unlimited wine, prosecco or beer. And starting with one cocktail. Great service and was very busy on the Saturday afternoon.

Very clean everywhere, room very comfortable. Good breakfast with everything you could want. Staff very helpful. Great place to stay very close to city centre.

We tried Crispy Shredded Beef, Beef with Honey and Sauce, Special Fried Rice and Salt and Pepper King Prawn as the starter. The food and service was very good. Will be happy to come back and try more varieties!

Had the Christmas dinner , lovely food each course was brought out quickly and the staff were brilliant especially the older gentleman who really couldn’t do enough for us it was a lovely afternoon and will definitely do it again soon 😬😬

I was served cloudy beer, when I questioned it, I was told it was supposed to be clear but our cellar is so cold the beer gets a chill haze! Chill Haze occurs when a beer is chilled below approximately 1.6°C (about 35°F). The beer did not seem that cold. So it's either it is bull or a very cold cellar. I know which I believe. I left the beer. Not recommended.

Had the vegetarian breakfast with extra hash browns and a latte Very clean plate of food and decent, only thing I'd change is I'd like the mushrooms cooked more, nice atmosphere maybe a tad expensive

Brilliant afternoon tea. Plenty to eat. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Setting is perfect plus it was a lovely day.

Nobody in there. Played some over priced shuffle board, had a pint then left.

Ordered a pair of shoes online and chose collection from store. The shoes were sent from warehouse, not other stores. When I went to this store and collected my shoes, it was very obvious the box has been opened and the shoes have been tried on. There were dirts on the shoes leather surface and even the paper in the box was broken. I ordered this shoes and I already paid for it, how can they let someone else try my shoes and made it in such terrible condition? Returned immediately in the store and ordered online again, chose home delivery, I received a brand new pair of shoes. For sure it’s not the warehouse sent defective and dirty shoes. This store doesn’t respect customers orders at all.

Chips perfect fish perfect price excellent

My wife and I had a date meal in the evening. I had Beef tortellini, my wife had the anchovy pasta. The menu was small with a few meals. This meant the food was freshly made and you could taste the freshly made pasta and it tasted lovely. The beef tortellini had a nice filling and nice sauce. The anchovy pasta has a nice fish taste. They even free of charge gave us some bread to mop up the pasta. For desert we had tiramisu and panna cota. The tiramisu was lovely made and tasted really nice with a light alcoholic. The Panna Cota has a nice lemon flavour. Only complaint the lighting was not great in the restaurant. Friendly staff and service was good.

We had a fantastic experience today. Niamh served us and couldn't do enough for us she was amazing. Radka too was very friendly and lovely. Two wonderful girls who are a real asset to the company. The coffee was great as well. I wish I lived near a branch as it was the best coffee shop experience I've ever had.

used to be a chatime and is now nowhere near as good sadly. very watered down and overpriced drinks 😔
