Chatime in Nottingham

Guy with the cap and glasses has been of amazing help !! He was very patient in assisting us with an online order issue. Super friendly also !! As for the boba tea.. delicious as usual. Would highly recommend!

I ordered milk tea with pearls and it tasted really bad and all the pearls was sticking together couldn’t even drink it with straw and even tho drink didn’t taste good ,I always get pearl milk tea from other places but this one was the worst.

Had chatime tea with tapioca pears, tea is a bit bland, little flavour and pears were a bit tough. Interior is cute and staff are okay.

Usually empty place but really nice tea. Expensive though. They only sell drinks and maybe something like Kaya balls

Omg this place is incredible, my son has never had a boba...being autistic I didn't think he would like it. We had a mango drink with mango pearls and he loved it. The staff are amazing and friendly. The place is clean and tidy..no seating for disabled people tho but I would recommend this place all the time.

Been coming to Chatime quite often but only decided to review now. The bubble tea is nice with a lot varieties but shame they dont have wintermelon flavour my fav one. The price is more expensive compare to other bubble tea places in the city, with £1 for jelly topping and 80p for popping pearl while other places only charge around 50p.

It’s always so nice to find good bubble tea. The pearls are cooked really well and not overcooked 💕💕 Edit 4/4/23 The drinks are not as nice as they used to be(It’s really dilute n the pearls are bland), the staff has changed that could be why ?!T^T So unfortunate!!!

I brought a boba milk tea with normal tapioca pearls, it was quite nice yet the pearls had a slighty slimey texture, instead last time I went I brought the same but instead with popping pearls, IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER. I recommend going for popping pearls if you're planning of getting a bubble tea from here

Honestly taste is not bad but it’s so expensive even I order basic one. I ordered hot milk tea with the pearl small size but the price was around £5

Went there with a friend and was very satisfied. The tea was amazing and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Give it a try, and you’ll enjoy it immensely.

Overall, an okay shop. It has a good variety to choose from and staff are friendly. However I find that their syrups taste almost like perfume, as if they have not been shaken or too much is added. As someone that is around boba and it's variations I'd say this shop is okay but not the best.

The Taro Tea and Brown Sugar milk Tea is super delicious. The Service is excellent you honestly can not complain Chatime offers indoor seating aswell which is great for the coming winter :)

Awful customer service. I was completely ignored and he started taking the order of the customer behind!!! Unbelievable!

This was the worst place we have ever gotten our tea from, the people made it a lot more complicated than it should be, the passionfruit tasted like dirty water, and was so bitter that we had to throw the tea out and have just the pearls, which there wasn't a big selection to choose from.

Polite staff, quick service. The tea is amazing. It is made well. It has a fantastic taste. Personally my favourite is the famous Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Boba Pearls <3

Terrible customer service. Got a missing order and the woman on the phone laughed at me saying she can’t give me refund. Of course I got my refund from uber but they shouldn’t be so rude like this. Never ordering again.

I absolutely love this tea place. But they are always out of stock. I've been wanting to buy a bubble tea for ages, today they are out of all black tea and popping bubbles :( Edit: Keep checking everyday. There's no peach tea and they have been out of stock for weeks. So much for being back in stock in June 👎

I’m not really a big fan of the pearls but I love the popping boba but when I try to buy some it’s sold out so hopefully it comes back early

I tend to love it here, the keya balls and the milk tea are the best but some of the menu can be sold out. Also some things aren't as they seem on the menu.

Their roasted milk tea and durian milk tea are my fav! Very friendly staff, open until late compared to other places.

Boba tea. I ordered a taro milk tea with normal boba and regular sugar and it was actually quite tasty. We ordered kyoga balls which were also quite tasty, kinda like a pancake. My wife ordered a chatime milk tea and told the barista she wanted boba but was misheard and got popping boba instead, the tea was tasty but the popping boba made it weird. Will probably go to again, seeing as it is the closest boba to lincoln.

Absolutely rip off. Do not go here. There are many other places for bubble tea in Nottingham which do not crazy prices. I was charged £5.05 for bubble tea, which i had to pay separately for the bubbles. Which completely defeats the purpose. The staff are rude and unpleasant and make you feel intimidated. Plus the tea was horrible. It is like going to Costa and ordering green tea where they give you water and you pay for the tea bag separately... go to the oriental mart. The staff are nice and they charge £3.80 INCLUDING BUBBLES. They have amazing flavours.

My go to place for Bubble tea!!

The promo drinks are amaaaazing. Mango mousse is the best one this season for me 🧡 The setting is really aesthetic so you can take really nice photos and the staff are amazing and so polite. I recommend going to Chatime over any other bubble tea branches ☺

The tea is very tasty, tapioca is mediocre, but the shop has a very nice vibe to it and the seating area is a nice addition.

Best bubble tea I've ever had! I go here every single time I go Nottingham (sometimes even twice in a day). The staff are friendly, there is a huge variety of options and the seating area is chill. They have an app so you can order before you get there if you know what you want. I usually get the brown sugar milk tea

One of my favourite bubble tea shops in London. The quality is consistent, and they never get my order wrong. So many things to pick from the menu as well, and the staff are nice. I find that the queue is not as bad as cuppacha and happy lemon, probably due to the location? I’m not sure aha, but I have always loved chatime. Usually my go to when I’m in chinatown! Their QQ topping is definitely a must try

Hey I'm an old geezer (over 65 that is) and visit my daughter at NTU. She just loves these tea shops and introduced me to them. Customer service was really nice. The decor was attractive, the swing chair fun, the staff patient even with said "old geezer" having to have explained what's in the selections. The message board looks fun. The teas are not cheap but they're a nice treat and easily more fun and variety than Costa coffee or Starbucks. What's not to like? 😃🙂😀

身為台灣人，在海外看到台灣的珍珠奶茶店一 定會去支持一下，雖然說味道並沒有和再台灣差太多，不過甜度可能為了迎合當地人，即便是三分糖也還是很甜，但都可以調整就是，總之愛奶茶的人可以來試試！

The staff are a little cold but the drinks are good

Further inside got place for seats and table. You can wait while waiting for your turns of drinks. Got lots of tea options for cold and hot drinks. Delicious kaya ball and eat while still hot. Nice!

Boba tea here is nice. Sometimes it’s a little powdery. Although boba pearls are fresh and have a great texture. The taro tea is awesome.

We stopped here for a drink during a shopping trip to Nottingham and we were not disappointed! They have a wide variety of drinks to chose from and a lovely seating area and post it wall inside. Will definitely be visiting again :)

There is NO wifi here.. They taste alright, but don't have a very rich taste. Chatime is not that good with pearls. But they have tables to sit with friends and can play board games. Also there is a toilet.

The brown rice tea is our favourite

Albeit a little expensive most of our drinks were very enjoyable. It's a good option that you can customise the level of sugar and ice. My new mojito drink wasn't as enjoyable, but the brown roasted sugar, the honeydew melon tea and chocolate milk tea wth pudding were great.

The atmosphere of this place is particularly special because of the care and attention to detail given by the owners.

ChaTime generally makes good bubble tea: taro, no ice, less sugar, with QQ is my favourite. I particularly like this Cha Time and I remember being around when it had just opened a few years ago and drinks were half price. I still make a beeline for it whenever I'm visiting Nottingham, and also recommend it to many others! The decor inside has also been upgraded since I was last here, very nice! Oh, and I also appreciate that this Cha Time allows the loyalty card, which the one closest to where I live doesn't!

Absolutely love their bubble teas. I have got to admit that for someone who didn't used to like milk teas, I've grown quite fond of their roasted milk tea. It's so delicious 😆

Great range of ingredients to mix your perfect drink. Staff are always friendly and the prices are brilliant.

It takes forever to get my drink even if I’m only the second customer waiting in line. Priority is always given to orders for delivery and it’s very frustrating to wait for 15-20 mins when there are barely any customers in store.

I really enjoy the tea, quite expensive however. The wait is usually between 5-15 mins dependent on number of customers. Lots of variety and the people who make the tea are very nice and welcoming, they also help you pick what you want if you are unfamiliar with the menu. Rated 4 stars due to expense, however, the product Is probably worth it?

Taro milk tea from there is one of the best I've tired. Also their Chatime milk tea and roasted milk tea is great. The tapioca pearls, pudding and winter melon jelly are very tasty. Tapioca pearls from there is in standard size, is squishy, soft and sweet. In addition their sitting area is small but very nice, it provides few free boardgames for customers to play with. At last the staff there are friendly too.

Sometimes tha queue can get really long..but it is worth it.

Visited this establishment on many occasions due to the convenient location and wide range of fresh, milk, fruit teas as well as smoothies and coffees. On most occasions we have had our expectations met by the friendly staff at Chatime. However, on some of our visits the tapioca pearls which are added toppings in our drink have not been cooked well. Otherwise, Chatime and similar bubble tea shops in Nottingham have become a key part of our social outings.

Good drinks but really long wait times..

I'm a regular customer, 10/10 tea but there's just not enough! I have a pretty small appetite whereby I'll usually order modest portions but myself and my friends agree that there needs to be a larger drink size option. I'm sure this strategy would cost little to implement and offer sweet margins in return ;)

Great tea with variety of options. Milk tea, Green tea, Fruit tea. Pearls, Aloe Vera, Jelly, Popping bubble. You can also adjust your Ice and sugar level.

The staff were friendly the place was very clean and quiet the drinks are lovely :)
