The best restaurants in North Kesteven East Midlands

I’ve given up trying with this cafe! I’ve visited about five times - with friends, alone and with children. The coffee is awful! Too bitter and not well made. The biscuits are burnt. The choice of fresh cakes/savouries is very poor. The staff are miserable and don’t seem welcoming at all. I also asked for a tap water to go with my coffee and was told to buy a bottle for £1! The tables are not cleaned thoroughly. It’s such a shame as this could be a regular place for us after school as it’s so close however we just can’t give it any more chances.

Recieved a pizza with no sauce, upon calling to query I was asked "what do you want me to do about that now".

was a lovely surprise being early and arrived steaming hot and was so tasty. thankyou. delivery driver was a lovely lady x

Best food in the village and across the county. I no longer live in Lincolnshire but when I come back to see my family I always want to eat from here. Never disappointed me.

I am allergic to Garlic and often struggle to find things to eat in restaurants. The staff here were so friendly, they checked through ingredients and even offered to tweak the menu to make me something. Even though the pub is a Hungry Horse, the staff made it feel like a local, rather than a franchise.

Delivery failure expected abt 6pm now over an hour later nothing

food was freezing cold! requested with out gherkins or salad came with both but no meat! milkshake was melted. icecream had 2 spoonfuls in and I got under 2quid refunded on a 15 quid order that was cooked up! shocking.....

Ordered chilli burger and chips online no mention that it comes with cheese in description you can say no salad and sauce but no mention about cheese.... rang and was sorted straight away...should be full description of contents when ordering but will still use

We always visit this place for a bday or celebration as it's always been great value for money. Service has never been top notch as its always very young teenagers without training but the food has always made up for it. However last night's visit for my sisters bday was disgusting. We ordered our starters to only receive half of them? I received none of mine and had to wait while the rest of the table ate theirs. I had ordered some spring rolls and dumplings? But I was waiting over an hour for them. Everyone else had finished their food even a couple of tables had received their food before I was then told they ate just putting my order in. The servers had to tell the chef 3 times to put my order on as I was waiting. So when I eventually got my food everyone had finished and was ready for the mains so they ordered them to avoid anymore delays. An hour later they came out and were less than satisfactory. My dad's salt and pepper squid wasn't even cooked properly. Everything was less than perfect? I.e the veg was a little undercooked, the sweet and sour tasted like orange chicken. The table next to us had been there since 5pm and left 3 hours later complaining about the delay and missing dishes as well as the way the boss had been shouting at the teenage staff. We could hear him berating the staff regularly from the kitchen. We left about 3 hours after starting as well and none of the previous tables had been cleared. Even our starters dishes were not removed? We ended up doing it ourselves. We will not be returning ever again

i had a very bad experience at this place, the food was very overpriced and way to greasy, there were flys all over the place and there was fish left out on the counter UNCOVERED!! not all of the employees had their hair tied up/covered. i also saw one of the employees vaping outside of the shop which i also thought was very unhygienic. there was also no food hygiene rating on show which didn’t come as a surprise as it’s probably a 0!!!!!!!!!!

Es una pena que haya que emitir una crítica negativa, pero desafortunadamente la visita fue solo eso aparte de la empresa. Después de caminar en el pub en sí parecía estar cansado mirando, pero se puede apreciar que el propietario era nuevo en el pub, con suerte esto mejorará las bebidas fue agradable, aunque un poco lento en el servicio, esto resultó en una mejor parte de la noche. Nosotros como grupo pedimos una variedad de comidas y esperábamos un poco de retraso en el servicio, ya que el pub estaba ocupado, pero después de más de una hora tuvimos que preguntar sobre nuestras comidas algo de la fiesta se estaba poniendo hambriento, nos dieron una actualización que se cumplió, pero la comida era simplemente no era agradable de la mala calidad de la falta de sabor, solo era una pérdida de tiempo (debería haber tenido una bolsa de rasguños de cerdo) la parrilla de mezcla resultó ser salchicha y patatas fritas, ya que el resto no era adecuado para el perro otro plato estaba más seco que un par de sandalias en España y el curry era solo especias. Espero que el restaurante pueda cambiar las cosas.

The coffee was good but the cheese and ham toastie was awful. Neither the cheese nor the ham had any flavour and the bread used was’plastic’.

Loved my festive one pizza. The kickers were also a wise pick. The online deals are are good as otherwise would be pricey ..

Me reuní para almorzar aquí ayer, fue agradable, el encaje está lleno de carácter y cálido cuando entramos, se encendió el fuego, el whisby whe off parece estar en construcción, pero no se sintió como demasiado intrusivo en la búsqueda de café, solo tiene que salir más allá de las obras y en la tienda de ropa y más allá de la caja de la izquierda, pasamos el letrero dos veces jaja El almuerzo fue encantador, tuve el panini de atún y h bby tenía la sopa y el sarnie, pero encantador, lo único que puedo decir es que el pero de ensalada / guarnición en el lado estaba seco, tal vez un poco de amor por el verde y un poco de hidratación con un poco de aderezo en mi haría una diferencia Creo que la vista sobre el río es fabulosa y nos encanta sentarnos junto al agua en verano con nuestros nietos.
