The best restaurants in Mansfield East Midlands

Me and my wife had a meal at the talbot pub on nottingham read manfiekd on the 4/2/2025 it was the worst food I've come across, I had the mix grill the steak was 4" around &very dry i ask where is the steak was ,they reply thats how it comes to them pre cooked,the chicken was like dry rubber over cooked, my wife's burger was burnt & dry ,we made a complaint about it ,the chicken was replaced, the steak wasn't, they said thats the size of it when they get it ,they offered us a free drink which i find was a insult considering both meals cost over £30

Well… don’t waste your time or money. Milkshakes were warm and like water, brownie was not a brownie, more like Jamaican ginger cake. Cheesecake was foamy and weird textured. Awful experience will not be having again.

Went in lastnight for food before we went to circus and wish we hadn't. Toilets were absolutely awful. 1 covered in poo on seat, 1 had poo on walls and 1 with wet floor and no lock on door. My daughter asked if I wanted a pudding but I wanted to leave asap. I had the burger and was burnt and would have been half the price eating at circus. Very expensive too for what you get. Will not return sadly to say as we have been a fair few times.

Don't frequent Maccies very often but was presently surprised, really nice beef patties and lovely latte.

Took an hour and ten minutes to arrive and was unfortunately cold, so I’m guessing the driver had delivered multiple items at the same time. The pizzas were poor, and quite a lot left. If papa johns had been open we would have gone there.

Cheapest burger buns on the market. Ordered two ‘Gourmet Burgers’ they came with awful small burger buns that ruined the experience and looked nothing like the images. Burgers were tasteless and small compared to other pubs

chose the duo meat selection (pork/turkey) selection of veg was good, plenty of extras £5. meat quality & thickness excellent. yorks pud 👌would def visit again soon….David & his staff very attentive….🥰🤗 keep up the good work!

Ordered food at half 4 to be here latest by 5:50. It’s not 7pm and it’s still NOT here! Can’t ring they won’t answer phone!!!!!

Food itself is really good and comes very quickly. But the last three orders I've done, I’ve order big dips and they have always forgot the big dips. Driver doesn’t mention anything but states they aren’t here. Robbing money and their way of making profit as a branch.

Order missing items and the food was entirely cold. Absolutely rubbish experience and will NEVER be repeated

We came here thinking it was still a weatherspoons but it is not, it's had a pint job but all the same old furniture and damaged toilets clearly not a improvement the, We only popped in as we still had 1 hour and 20 mins parking, plenty of time for a beer n burger, not the case however, it's now table service only and took 20 minutes to get served, then 20 minutes after that my wife had to go and ask for the drinks only to hear a member of staff in the background shout "we're busy what does she f###### expect" not the best tbh, Then time started ticking and our food was not arriving nor was anybody else's food who had been served before us, when it got to the point that we had been there for over 1 hour and only had 15mins on the parking, I went up to pay for drink the and cancel the food, the manager who canciled my order was okay however their was a woman in the little room at the end of the bar wavering her writs around shouted "what the f### do they expect?, Well to clear things up for that member of staff who clearly can't control her emotions and clearly should not be employed to serve in a restaurant, I'm not asking for the world when I say, I'd like a drink in my had within 40 minutes of entering an establishment and I'd like my burger within 1 hour and I'd really like to not hear foul language and insults shouted towards me while at the bar by someone who can't control their emotions at work.

Absolutely ridiculous! The staff were so rude. I will never return. Awful experience, completely ruined our evening. We was made to feel very uncomfortable.

The staff were super friendly and quick to attend. Loved it.got a strawberry matcha and i am now becoming a refresher 🤍
