Absolutely ridiculous! The staff were so rude. I will never return. Awful experience, completely ruined our evening. We was made to feel very uncomfortable.

Only take cash. And have a non electronic device policy. I was told to put my phone away. I was showing a friend some of my photos. REALLY !!! What century are they in

Lovely place to go good people good place for a game of pool , darts , snooker and card bingo on Thursdays and Sundays

Last time we went landlady was caught with a married man and her partner the landlord beat him up in the carpark infront of children and customers. Police wasn't informed so they are still there. Will never go there again

Nice quiet pub, they serve good food,attentive staff. They also have a large games room which has a full size snooker table and darts etc

Quite often walk up to whitegates with my two sons for a game of pool and a nice pint of taddy, (pop for boys of course) pool table a bit steep at 70p a game but all in all a great place .

Walked here from Sherwood Pines with some friends. Quiet for a bank holiday Monday, but the food was great and the beer was good. Very good value, friendly staff.

It's a decent enough pub, a Sam Smith's which gets my vote anyway, it's too good for an average rating actually, there should be a Good rating as I have said before. Like many Sam's pubs, it's not run down, but just needs that little bit of redecoration to perk it up. Plush bar up front and a huge games / function room to rear. It's one of those old Shippo's pubs which were all built to a common or similar basic design idea. All the usual suspects from Sam's, no hand pull beers, only keg. Beer always ok. Fare will be the usual Sam's menu, have never eaten here. Always recommended for the beer and excellent prices.

Pub lunch for four. Met up up for weekly chat and decided to try menu. Beer good, food was good quality very tasty and much better than the big"ping" restaurants.well placed on the list of places to revisit
