Extremely disappointing. The fish was the skinniest piece imaginable. Probably safe to say it was 75% batter. Both of us had the same and not kidding there is more fish in a decent fish finger. Shame as was so looking forward to a traditional fish and chip supper.

He tratado de dar a este lugar el beneficio de la duda manteniendo una crítica ya que solía ser mi chippy favorito. ¡Pero en las últimas tres ocasiones he llegado a casa para encontrar la comida equivocada, la comida poco cocinada y ahora apenas comida! Esta noche pedí unas patatas fritas medianas y recibí este pobre esfuerzo. Simplemente siente que claramente ya no queda ningún cuidado o estándar en el lugar, lo que es una pena. No volveré de nuevo.

Just had such a good takeaway this evening that I wanted to review the restaurant straight away. Really good quality food at a very reasonable price. The salt and pepper chicken is especially tasty and the prawn toast which was so fresh and had lots of whole prawns on top. Will definitely be ordering again!

La bienvenida más cálida que creo que he recibido de un café! Con 2 niños y un perro, comer fuera puede ser estresante, pero esto fue completamente quitado aquí. Los niños ofrecieron colorear para mantenerlos entretenidos, nuestro perro ofreció agua y golosinas tan pronto como entramos por la puerta. Mi marido y yo cuidamos tan atentamente, nada a muchos problemas. Y para colmo nuestro almuerzo y chocolates calientes eran deliciosos! Sin duda volvería de nuevo, gracias por cuidar de nosotros!

Amazing food. I was very very pleased with my visit. I was served by a woman called Emma with blonde shoulder length hair and glasses. She was so lovely and welcoming! Gave me exactly what I wanted unlike last time when I was served by Sharon who I found to be quite rude. There was a good selection of food that was reasonably priced. I’m very happy with this service. Thank you. Also love your cream cake!

We have been using New Sunflower for probably 30 years and have always had great food. Of late, we have always had the same mains (66 Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style and 83 Mixed Meat Hot with King Do Sauce) delicious and recommended! I don't understand the 1 star ratings

Visitamos el 24 de diciembre y fue increíble, el sabor era delicioso, tanto sabor y calidez! Comida china apropiada! ¡Seguro que iremos de nuevo! Personal agradable y amable también!

On arrival you find a few dining tables between the reception and some sofas. Not very inspiring at all. It looks more like a hotel lobby than a restaurant, which in fact is what it is, the hotel lobby. Even if apparently they were fully booked, we were the only people seated to eat. Visibly the staff were more interested in talking between themselves than serving anyone. As I said we were the only occupied table, so having waited for some service I had to go myself to get the menu from the two girls chatting behind the bar. Having got the 'cocktails menu' and took some time to choose, we gave our order (after going to find someone to give it to) and she looked at us and said 'we don't do cocktails ! and then just walked away !, obviously it was beyond her intellectual capacities to tell us that when she gave us the drinks menu. Finally the food arrived - which was a surprise because the food was 'good', it would seem that the chef, who seems to be the only person thats focused on any remote sense of quality. Bravo to the chef ! very well presented and delicious. Conclusion, the chef is probably long gone by now i imagine (to work in a real restaurant, where he belongs), but even if he is still there, there is zero atmosphere and zero service.

Entramos sin reserva previa y nos dieron la bienvenida. Pedimos las albóndigas para empezar y estaban deliciosas. Teníamos un pan de ajo para acompañar estos que era fantástico, la base era suave por dentro y crujiente por fuera. Para nuestro plato fuerte teníamos el Calzone Carne. Esta era una gran pizza, que estaba perfectamente cocinado. El personal fue amable y atento y hizo que toda la experiencia fuera agradable. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida en Gino's y volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Lincoln.

Amazing service! Came in for a needed drink after climbing Steep Hill and Aaron gave some really friendly service - so much so that 1 drink turned into 3. We will be coming back for the quiz!

The Wig and Mitre is hands down the greatest pub in Lincoln, and it’s not hard to see why. Stopped here on Sunday morning. It's really disappointing that everything is served in disposable packaging, this is so wasteful and I dont think it would be hard for the cafe to have a dishwasher and some reusable cutlery. Also there are no recycling facilities for the disposables and everything just goes into the same bin which is probably destined for handful. In this day and age I think it's important for establishments to demonstrate some care for the planet. Getting rid of the disposables would be a good step towards this. Not impressed with the food or drinks either, I got a carrot cake it was horribly stale, and I didnt rate my hot chocolate. There are also no labels on any of the cakes so its quite difficult to see whag cakes they have on offer. We sat in to eat and the room was freezing, the person I was with was shivering and we eventually just left. I wouldn't go here again.
