The best restaurants in High Peak East Midlands

Very disappointing trip to a place we usually enjoy. The service was slow, none of the tables were cleared (8tables with dirty dishes) and the pizza was sub-standard. We have always enjoyed pizza here until tonight. Hardly any sauce or chicken on the pizza which arrived Luke warm. Maybe the manager was off?

A hidden gem. Food quality is amazing all home cooked fresh veg and lots lovely helpful staff the hardest part is picking from the extensive menu highly recommended, you will become a regular visitor

Great chips, not at all greasy. Nice fish too. Good service and glad we stopped by whilst passing through the town and would visit again.

Lovely pub great atmosphere and cracking Sunday lunch the lady on the bar was very friendly and welcoming even though we had two very muddy dogs with us definitely will visit again

Great food, great staff, will be back , especially for the full English.

Three of us went for lunch after hitting the charity shops in New Mills. We had to ask for the tables to be wiped down, but the staff did this quickly, no fuss. The food wasn’t quick to arrive but it was tasty when it did, and the americano coffee was decent too!

Buxton has an abundance of pubs and restaurants. We choose this pub as it looked nice and cosy with a lovely fire burning. We were warmly greeted by all the staff. The pub was very old and well looked after. The bar being a very good feature. They do senior specials 2 courses for £6.99. We opted for two meals £15.99 of hunters chicken which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this pub

Made an order online that said it would be 2 hours, which we were fine with. 2.5 hours later I rang to find out where our order was... after 5 mins waiting for them to find our order they said they had missed it and tried to say some orders get missed, even though they have to confirm the orders! Absolute waste of time, we always order from here but will never again waste our time and money. Don't bother, you may be sat all night waiting for nothing!!!!

They didn't have half of the ingredients and the only enjoyable part of the meal was joking that the ribs were human However we did only pay £8 each

Great little burger king, beats the hell out of the Maccys across the road

Before I sat down I had to clean the table myself. Didn’t get the drink I ordered then when it was redone it was just left on counter. By time I got it it was filled up to the middle and tepid

I would give no stars if I could. The food ordered wasn't what I ordered. Tried to contact but phone rings off straight way. Payed through just eat there no support either. Spent half hrs choosing starters two curry's and starter with sides yes was hungry. To be delivered, one curry chips and doc pepper drinks.

Order did not come togeather, had to wait nomialy 45 minutes until the rest of the order arrived and ended up eating on my own ... very dissapointed!

My chicken wrap hasnt even seen chicken, when I say I may aswell have given it to my daughter as she is a vegetarian it wouldn't be far off the truth. What a absolute joke shop

Great service, really nice staff and most importantly, the food was good. Only had burgers, and cheesy chips but was on time and lovely.
