Great service, really nice staff and most importantly, the food was good. Only had burgers, and cheesy chips but was on time and lovely.

Great food an friendly staff, piping hot as usual, more reasonably priced compared to other local establishments, would definitely recommend

Recent takeaways have been excellent. The marinaded chicken and garlic bread is delicious. Highly recommend .

Very poor beware ordered food of big foodie app half the food came 1 hour 10 minutes after ordering too cold to eat other half came 10 minutes after the first delivery also cold haven’t been able to get refund even though all food was sent back

I ordered popadoms and a pickle tray I got popadoms & a tray of pickles 🤦🏼‍♀️ The food here can be very hit and miss but we always seem to go back because it’s local and quick

Sometimes the food here is amazing but then at other times it really is nothing more than fit for the bin! Expensive delivery charge at £3.00 when other places are around £1 or Free! If you like your Pizza too burnt to eat and Doner meat in little tiny strips then go here. Sense of pride would stop a professional sending out food so poor!

3 hours We waited for our food, 3 times we phoned up and 3 times we was lied to! Chicken Kebab- chicken was cold pitta was really soggy Chips soggy and freezing cold Pizza freezing Unhappy tired and starving children rang at 6.09 and arrived at 9.10 No matter the problem 3 hours wait ! And disgusting cold food when it arrived! Never ever again

I used to order from here all the time and it was wonderful however i ordered from here for me and my partner and i had a chicken tikka masala which tasted like salt, it was very greasy and just generally disgusting, i didn’t think a chicken tikka is supposed to taste like salt. On the plus side my partners burger was okay and the naan was lovely.

Chips like card board, chicken is dry, delivery was late, it was all pretty much cold by the time it got here.

I have read other reviews and they are bad but I ignored them and got a curry and I loved it chicken makhani the pizzas are beautiful too I am recommend it to others

So I got a lamb korma a keema naan and a 1 piece chicken and chips .. chips were cold and the chicken looked like a rat leg .. no exaggeration .. the chicken went z sstraight in the bin I wasn’t even risking it .. so I’m pretty wound up at this point I was looking forward to eating me some chicken on the way home before my curry but I felt bad giving it to the bin to deal with .. that poor bin has had that rat/pigeon leg in it for like 8 hours now .. anyway so I get home n start fishing the curry up .. now I’m not Being funny bit what sorta korma is pink .. yes .. pink 🤔 this sauce was splitting so it looked like pink baby sick I tried a piece of the lamb n it was mush the keema naan was falling apart on itself n this morning I’ve woken up to my stomach is doing summersaults n my backside has a mind of its own .. so all in all they don’t deserve 1 star they deserve to be shut down ..

I ordered a meal for my family last week. The Lamb from my Special kebab was missing! My next door neighbour ordered a meal for his family a week later and the Chicken AND lamb was inedible due to It being charged and extremely dry! We both complained via their on line service and were both robbed off! You do not rub a local takeaway business like this and certainly do not go your regular customers off by your on line service. Really poor service! Well done.

Bunch of young lads who don't understand what customer service is. I am sure it's a challenging environment but I get the feeling they get their entertainment at the customers expense. Average takeaway that I wouldn't use again.

Good curry take-away with a huge menu and selection of indian dishes to choose from including curries, kebabs and pizzas.

Great curries. Never used the delivery service we always pick up. Great value curries from mon to thursday when they have the curry and naan specials on.

A very nice curry house in buxton. We mainly have curries which are all good and the chicken tikka and nans are nice. The kebabs and pizzas are nice too.

A sub standard curry take away that also do deliveries. Delivery can take a long time and often the curries arrive cold and watery. That being said they do the best nan breads ever.

Again my order was short, absolute rubbish service yet again.

2 pizzas arrived stale and luke warm . The chips were cold and tasted like they had been re heated in a microwave . Had to throw it away as the food was in edible

Not many places open in Buxton at Christmas - thankfully these guys were. Had a lovely Lamb Vindaloo take away. The meat was cooked superbly and the taste spot on! The missus had a pizza which she reports to have been super good.

Rude staff, was told 20 mins collection before ordering then placed the order and it changed to 45 mins, joke.. when went to collect was stood there 10 mins waiting to then see my food had been on top of the freezer the whole time!

Food was late, only one portion of chicken nuggets and fries delivered instead of two......phoned up to ask what had happened, was told another portion would be sent up, two hours later, nothing at all. Wont be ordering from here again.

We had family over for dinner to be delivered. We ordered online we got a response by email to say the order had been received at 6pm and it would be delivered in 50 mins. After an hour and a half I rang to see where it was gave them our address which was 3 mins away. I was told the driver must be out delivering it as he was not there. After another half an hour we rang and were told it would be here in half and hour. Needless to say it did not arrive. My brother drove up to Buxton Food Spot to be told it would be 5 more mins. 2 hours and 45 mins later. We finally had our meal or so we thought. 1 Pizza was missing. Told us they were busy sorry and the pizza would be here straight away you guessed it 1 hour later and the pizza arrived. They gave us 2 bottles of coke when we went to pick up the meal as a sorry. Most of the meals were ok. But with young children it was not ok to just say sorry we were busy . By the time the last Pizza came it was closer to four hours from the first order.

We placed rather a large order (11 people) online with Buxton Food Spot and were given a waiting time of approximately 1 hour which, given the size of the order, could have been taken with a pinch of salt (pun not intended). The order was for delivery.2 hours and 10 minutes later we decided to call Buxton Food Spot to make sure they had our order and if it was due any time soon. They advised that the driver wasn't there so they must be on their way with our order. Excellent. Given that we were only 0.6 miles apart, we were eagerly anticipating our food within the next 5-10 minutes. 40 minutes later we decided to phone again to enquire about our order. We couldn't get a straight answer out of them. By this time it was far too late to go elsewhere so I decided to drive down and pay them a visit. It turns out that our food was being prepared some 3 hours after ordering, just as I walked in. We were told the driver was knocked over and therefore I imagine so was our food. No phone call to advise us and no evidence of fallen food all over the road. Not many different routes to go in 0.6 miles but I can't confirm whether this did happen or not.To top it all off they missed out one of the items on the order, offered no discount for their below average service and couldn't be bothered to label the 6 different curries we had. The one and only time that we'll use Buxton Food Spot.The onion Bhajis were nice.

Easy pleasant transaction and food arrived 10 minutes earlier than stated, shame it was just warm when arrived. Couple of minutes in microwave and all was ok. Enjoyed the food, shame it wasn't hot even though it arrived early.

Last week I ordered a pizza, it turned up almost an hour late and was cold and crusty, tonight, 04/10/17 I ordered again. it was late, no problem, they called me cos they couldn't find me so I went out and collected my order....... Used A lot over the years. Was an hour late, my pizza was horrible just because of how cold and crusty it was. Had it been delivered in good time oy would have been fine...... running short of patience here

Ive used this place quite often over the years but wont be doing again. The last three occasions my delivery took over two hours to deliver and needed to be reheated when it arrived. And one occasion it took two days before I got my food for which I had to call and ask for as my internet contact was completely ignored. Terrible service.

Food was never delivered because apparently with new customers they have to ring to confirm your idea and apparently my number on just eat is incorrect even though another takeaway uses it to ring me when outside the flat. So after that experience I won't be going back there again

Conseguimos una, entrega de comer solo. La atención telefónica fue genial Andy la comida llegó por delante del tiempo prometido. Sin embargo la comida era totalmente insípido. Servicio más hamburguesa hecha y seca doner carne. Pizza era también sin sabor. Incluso las salsas y patatas fritas no tenía sabor. Realmente decepcionante.

ordered on the app time extended straight away by 15 mins to 1 hour, they are under a five minute drive from our home. extra toppings for pizza missed of but charged for and we had to reheat pizza's, and lamb on kebab was cold. we have used this takeaway for best part of 10 years collecting or direct order for delivery, will not be using Justeat again.

Ordered food at 1900hrs, said it would arrive 2005. Called at 2020 to enquire how long. Food arrived ten minutes later, lukewarm.

Not quite sure what's going on at food spot lately?? This used to be the best place for kebabs etc but the past few times we've ordered from here it's been disappointing. We ordered 4 different kebabs today for the family 2x chicken donner kebabs one on pitta and one on nan 1x mixed kebab and 1x chefs special kebab the chicken dinner kebabs had a fair bit of hard gristle. The other 2 kebabs had very burnt dry chicken & lamb pieces I mean to the point of they were inedible ended up eating salad, dinner and nan bread. I'm not sure if it's a change in staff or they just can't be bothered? Either way it's a shame as I said the food from here used to be amazing but the past few months it's gone down hill

Very poor all-around , took 1 hour and a half to receive 3 items , one of which was wrong. The word "Large" doesn't seem to mean anything to them as my "Large" burger consisted of 1 patty and 1 shaving of Donner meat. Rang them when the order was 15 mins late, they hung up on us. Rang them again when we found our order was wrong , the offered to send us a free portion of donner meat. Took about 30 mins to get here. So overall took us just shy of 2 hours to get what we ordered. This isn't just a one-off either, this happens regularly to us. Don't use this place.

The place went a bit downhill a few months ago but tonight's food was absolutely beautiful! Mega kebab was amazing. Redeemed themselves tonight!
